After our discussion I began to feel uneasy. Me and my family only train packs, but we never have war problems. This pack isn't as skilled like my pack back home is, against an attack my pack can defend themselves we aren't even halfway done with training yet. I'm their trainer and it's my obligation to protect, I will remain by their side until the end and nothing will stop that, I will use my powers and try to fight as much as I can but that requires a lot of training and practically passing out afterwards, but if I want to lessen the blood shed from this pack I have to start training.
I grabbed Mal's hand and lead him outside,"Angel why are we heading back outside?" He asked but I didn't answer him until we were in the center of the field. I turned to face him and dropped his hand,
"Because. You're gonna help me train." He gave me a confused look,
"Why am I training you? Aren't you the packs trainer?" He asked genuinely confused. I rolled my eyes,
"Train my powers." I said and he nodded in agreement before his eyes went wide,
"No. You are not going to kill me." He said frantically shaking his head 'No'. I groaned,
"Mal you have to help me. I need to strengthen them so I can help protect you guys when the rogues get here. There was someone spying on me today. I gotta do this, so will you help me?" He took a pause before nodding his head understanding.
"I'll help you but what do I get in return?" He asked seductively. I mushed his head before standing in front of him,
"So what usually triggers your powers?" He asked fixing his hair. I could answer that one easily,
"Anger, and frustration." I responded, He nodded before he spoke,
"Well think of everything that angers you and try to summon one of your abilities." He said.
I nodded before closing my eyes and thinking about all the painful memories before I ran away. I thought about how he embarrassed me in front of the school in the parking lot, how Leila stole my car and made me walk, and how the alphas kicked my ass on my birthday. I began to feel a tingling throughout my body, I held out my hands and I summoned one of them.
"Uh Jadah?" I heard Mal say.
"Shhh Mal I feel it!" I snapped still feeling the buzzing but it was stronger. He interrupted me again,
"Jadah!" He shouted, I opened my eyes with my arms still out but I didn't see him. I looked around before dropping my hands at my sides. I heard a scream and a thud before I spun around and saw Mal on the ground wheezing. I immediately ran to his side,
"Mal are you okay, what happened?" I asked frantically but he was still trying to catch his breath,
"You......Dropped.....Me." He wheezed and my mouth formed an 'O'.
"So that's why you disappeared." I muttered,"I knew you weren't getting kidnapped." I whispered and he let out a strained chuckle before groaning afterwards.
"Okay I think that's enough training for one day." I said grabbing his hand and trying to pull him on his feet but he shook his head before trying to sit up without my help.
I suddenly lost my footing when a wave of deep fatigue hit me.
Uh-Oh.
The effects of my powers were starting to push to the front. Not as strongly as it usually is but I felt it.
Rising to his knees he held my body upright,"Angel are you ok?"
My eyes slowly looked at him before I placed my hands on his shoulders to support myself as I nodded my head 'yes'.
"Let's go back to the room, I didn't know your powers took this much of a toll on you." I shook my head no trying to stand by myself before my legs buckled, he tried to catch me but fell backwards losing his footing. I straightened my arms to catch us and when I touched the grass I felt a pulsing go through me.
It tickled a bit before I started to feel more and more energy fill me. I guess Mal felt it to because he was vibrating with me. My hand was on his chest while the other one was in the grass. When it finally stopped I felt stronger and refreshed.
"What was that, and why do I feel so energized?" I lifted my hand from the ground and seen a brown patch where my hand was. I gasped I tried not to take that much because I don't like leaving lifeless patches of earth afterwards.
"Woah Jadah Jay you did that?" He asked astonished rubbing the sad patch of dirt."It makes sense now, yesterday after Jax cracked your skull you healed yourself. That's why you barely had a scratch on." He pieced together astonished, I smiled and nodded my head proud of that moment.
"Do you think you can give it back?" He asked thoughtfully looking at me.
I silently placed my hand on the ground, taking a deep breath before exhaling. Buzzing over took both of our bodies as I had laid a hand on his before the exchange. I focused on sharing my energy and strength with the earth. I could feel myself getting weaker and my arms going limp until I stopped. I couldn't even sit up by myself, I fell back onto Mals' lap. I tiredly looked at the patch of grass and saw it was once again green.
I let a lazy grin cover my face as pride filled me, I slowly craned my head to show Mal the restored patch of grass but he was half asleep with his eyes drooping. I forgot I took from him to cushion the blow on myself. My eyes were growing heavier I had to fight the urge to sleep, I needed to focus on giving Mal some energy so he could take us inside. The buzzing ran through me before I felt the energy pass from my hands to his chest, his breathing picked up before I grew weaker and it was lights out for me.
I was just about to fall asleep on the grass with Jadah after her training but I felt her place her small delicate hand on my chest before that vibrating came back. She gave me the last bit of energy she had in her before she fell asleep. Afterwards my eye lids felt lighter, and my breathing picked up. I looked at Jadah whose eyes were still closed, one hand on my chest and the other on the ground. I looked at the ground and saw it was slowly turning a dark brown right before I felt her head hit my chest.
I lazily gave her a peck on the forehead,"You did good today."
I sat up making sure to be careful so she wouldn't fall the other way and hit the ground. I stood up with her firmly in my arms and began walking back to the house. On my way up the stairs I noticed some of the kids and teens running from the windows.
I opened the door, steadying my angel in my arms, when I looked up I seen her family, and my pack looking at her with proud and loving expressions. I stopped and looked around,
"I guess you guys saw her train huh?" I asked chuckling lightly, remembering when she raised me in the air unaware. It was painful but my baby used her powers. I was brought out of my thoughts when Jax was in front of me looking down at Jadah with a smile,
"Yea we seen it." He chuckled,"She wouldn't be tired if she would practice more." He muttered to himself, but I shook my head 'No',
"Did you know she can take energy from nature?" I asked amazing myself all over again. Jax looked up at me with wide eyes,
"No I didn't. That's a new ability of hers." He said just as shocked as I was.
"Yeah, she can give and take energy, she gave me the last bit of her energy before you passed out." I said gazing down at her peaceful face.
"She can give it as well?" He asked and I nodded,"But here's the thing, Jadah has possibly many more abilities, the abilities she has right now are just a few. Jadah is one of the rarest wolves I've ever came across. I've heard of white wolves being rare but none with more than one ability. She's one out of a few that do." He said.
My mate is truly someone special.
"What made her want to train all of a sudden, I've tried a million times to get her to but she would shrug it off." He stood up straighter crossing his arms, looking at Jadah puzzled. I smiled before looking at him,
"She wanted to train her powers, so she could protect us. She said that if she trained her powers she could help us in battle." I said and everyone grew still.
He scrunched his eyebrows,"She sounds like she's making herself a martyr. But I admire where the drive came from." He said relaxing his face, I just thought about something,
"Jax do you think that if we had a pup it would have powers?" I asked. No matter what, even if they didn't I would still love them.
"There is a possibility that could happen. Of course what kind of powers it would possess is beyond me." He shrugged.
"I should get her to bed." I said and he nodded before backing up. I began to head upstairs but voices stopped me,
"Goodnight Alpha and Luna!" Voices called, I turned around and smiled back,
"Night everyone." I said nodding and heading to our room.
I walked in and sat her on the bed. I grabbed me some clothes before I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. When I was finished I dried off before slipping on my clothes and heading back to Jadah. I grabbed her one of my t-shirts before taking off her sweaty clothes and putting the t-shirt over her. I turned out the lights before hopping under the covers, and pulling her to my chest, and nestling into her fluffy hair.
"Night baby." I whispered kissing her forehead and falling asleep.
Maybe I didn't give Mal enough energy to take us back to our room because I'm very uncomfortable right now. I groggily opened my eyes to a dark ceiling.
Good I'm not outside.
I was in Mal's big t-shirt, and very sweaty might I add.
I sat up slowly so the room wouldn't start spinning, it was sunny but it wasn't like the light morning sun it was the afternoon sun.
Oh yeah I do sleep late after I use my powers. Speaking of my powers; I can take away and give energy using the earth. Pretty cool. Now I want to learn more about all of my powers. I hopped up from the bed, walked out the door and to Georgie's room.
I knocked. No answer. I knocked once more but still no one answered so I went in and headed straight for my bags. I pick them up before walking out and closing the door behind me and heading back to my room.
I headed straight for the shower to wash off yesterday's grime before exiting and putting on a red half shirt and some shorts. I let my hair drop into fuzzy curly ringlets and headed out the door. I walked downstairs to the kitchen which was empty.
Odd.
I walked to the fridge, grabbed me a banana and a water bottle before walking outside.
I seen everyone outside either training or playing with each other.
How about I give my powers a test run?
I saw a jock standing near a tall stalk of grass so I closed my eyes and soon I felt that familiar buzzing run through me before I opened my eyes and lifted my finger watching the grass grow longer, then I twirled my finger. The grass followed my movements and twirled around his ankle, he still didn't notice. I pulled my hand back and he fell on his stomach.
I couldn't contain my laughter as I clutched my stomach. He groaned before he looked around, unaware of the fact that I did it. I noticed my hairs standing on edge.
Someone then cleared their throat sobering me up. I turned around and saw Malachi with his arms folded, an amused look in his eyes and he was fighting a smile.
"Jadah I would appreciate if you didn't use your powers to trip my pack members." He scolded, I gave him an innocent smile,
"Whoops." I laughed nervously throwing my hands in the air, but he fought to remain serious,"Oh come on, that was funny!" I yelled and he rolled his eyes while trying not to smile.
"Okay it was, but you have training to do." He said and I nodded. For once I'm happy about training.
We walked off the porch to the middle of the backyard trying to avoid everyone around us and the flying footballs before I turned to face him,
"Alright you've learned how to take and release energy and you've tested it out so let's try telekinesis." He said and I wanted to groan. That ones hard.
"So get frustrated or angry. I'm all yours." He said clapping his hands together ready. I huffed before focusing. I looked at him and held out my hands, drowning out the distractions around me. I focused on lifting him without frustration before I felt the buzzing, I seen him move off the ground a bit but I wanted him in the air. I concentrated harder until I moved my hands in the air and he followed. I felt everyone stop and watch, he looked proud but a little scared before I tried something. I put my hand in a fist to see what affect it would have on him, and soon he was turning red and on the verge of blue.
"Y-You're Squeezing me." He wheezed, I immediately opened my hand and he let out a relieved breath. I slowly lowered my hands until he touched the ground. He was bent over still catching his breath, I walked over to him and he collapsed to the ground, I held his hand.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you." I apologized. He gave me a weak smile, I placed my hand on his back then touched the ground, I felt the Vibrating again as the energy went through us. When I removed my hand from the ground nothing was left but a dead patch of brown grass. Everyone surrounded us,
"Woah." A kid said in shock. I smiled at him before standing up and pulling Mal with me.
"Better?" I said and he smiled,
"Now let's try something else, no more air squeezing." He said blowing out a breath. I laughed before nodding.
By now everyone went back to playing before he stood I front of me again,"Now try....." He gulped,"Using your pain power." He said, my eyes widened,
"No, that will hurt you." I was putting my foot down with this one,
"It's okay, you've gotta perfect these abilities, I'll be fine. Come on." He tapped my arm before standing in front of me again. I blew out a breath before nodding, I closed my eyes and thought about pain. I want it to hurt but no-
"HEADS UP!" Someone yelled. I turned and saw a fast moving football coming my way. I covered my head waiting for the stinging, but it never came. I raised my head from my hands looking around I and seen everyone looking at me. Sitting up straight I noticed I was in something clear and purple. I tapped it and it dispersed into waves, I jumped back falling back on my butt.
"What was that?!" I shouted,
"You made a force field around yourself." Mal answered shocked himself,
"How many abilities do I have!" I yelled incredulously, Jax chuckled and shook his head,
"Five now." He said amused and stunned at the same time. I furrowed my brows,
"That's five too many to master." I groaned before getting on my feet.
"Keep practicing and you'll get there." He said. I nodded before turning back to Mal who was shocked as well. I snapped in his face and he blinked before looking at me with a smile.
"That was so cool." He said dazed, I chuckled before pecking his lips.
"Now let's try that pain ability again." He said, I nodded before backing up. I focused on him and thought about giving him pain. I want him to feel it like no other. I felt the all too familiar tingles while I stared at him, before I knew it he dropped down holding his head and screaming. His screams made me want to lose control. I felt an unfamiliar darkness take control before my eyes widened and his screams grew louder. At this point he was in a ball shaking from the immense pain, that sight alone snapped me out of my trance. I ran to him before dropping to my knees.
"M-my body hurts." He sniffled still shaking, I poured removing the tears and snot from his red face.
"I want him to heal, I want him to heal, I want him to heal." I chanted in my head over and over until a strong pulse like feeling went through me. It's the same feeling I got when I stole energy from the grass. I felt the pulse again but stronger until his breathing evened.
"Angel your squishing me." Mal said. I didn't even realize I had my arms wrapped tightly around his head. I pulled back and smiled at him. I kissed him all over his face. He chuckled letting me assault his face with kisses, I giggled before pushing him back,
"Im sorry, I couldn't control it. It was like it wasn't me doing it." I said honestly and he kissed my nose,
"I know angel, lets just not do that again." He said and I laughed before standing up.
Oh those rogues are in for a treat, when they come.
I watched from the bushes as she used her ability to put her mate in pain. I loved hearing his screams and something tells me she did too.
"Oh Jadah we could have ruled the world if it wasn't for your mate." I thought bitterly to myself.
I've watched Jadah closely and I wasn't even aware she didn't find her mate.
When we last spoken that's what she said.
A mate is a minor issue that can be handled with something as simple as silver or my canines if I'm feeling testy.
I chuckled to myself.
I will never forget how they treated me, disrespected me as if I was nothing! I was nothing but a scrawny boy to them...Even in Jadah's eyes.
I know her weaknesses and I know if I remove the King, game over.
That's brilliant!
I'll force her hand so she'll have no choice but to come with me and then I'll make her my Luna and she'll make us the strongest rogue pack in the world!
She'll carry my pups and give me powerful children but more importantly I'll have her body. All to myself I moaned.
"I will be coming back in two weeks, when I do you will lure her mate away from her and bring him to me. Is that understood?"
"Yes sir!"
"Yes alpha sir!"
"Yes sir...But why do you want alpha Malachi?" I heard that bitch Samantha say,
"I'll show you why." I seethed, I punish everyone who crosses me, ask that bitch Marcy, she'll tell you.
"Yes sir." She whimpered. Pathetic.
I closed off our link and gazed at Jadah. She'll be mine in due time.
"I just need to remove some obstacles." I whispered before creeping back into the shadows and running away thinking one thing;
