I was frozen.Fear washed over my body in giant waves consuming me.I could feel the vibrations from Mal's chest as a roar slipped past his lips.Sam weakly went to sit down on the cold floor before she closed her eyes.That was the last thing I saw before everything went black and the floor was increasing towards me.
To describe the place I'm at is,peaceful.Quiet,silent,tranquil,and beautiful.The air around me is so fresh and the smell of woods and morning dew filled my nostrils.Theres tall willow trees whose leaves sway as the cool breeze skims over me making me shutter and hug the night gown I'm in closer around me.The grass is plush and bristles lightly past my ankles.It's dead silent and the morning sun is out.I look around placing a hand on my now flattened stomach,I rub over it frantically but still I can't feel the bump that signifies that my babies are with me.A tear slips out from my eye,
"No,no,no!"I cried over and over again,dropping to my knees as violent sobs wracked my body.
A gentle hand laid on my shoulder,"There,there child.It's alright,your babies,I assure to you are alright."Her beautiful voice said.My body instantly calmed down when her melodic voice filled my ears.I didn't bother to wipe away my tears when I looked up.
I was dumbfounded at the sight.A beautiful slender women in a cream colored dress was standing before me.She had beautiful bright blue eyes,sun kissed golden hair,and creamy skin.Her angel like laugh filled the air as her unnaturally white teeth flashed me.
She smiled down gently at me,"Calm child,your babies are fine.Now lets get you up so you don't ruin your beautiful gown."She said amiably pulling me to my feet.I smiled at her before looking down,
"Thanks."I muttered before lifting my head again and looking around.
"Where am I?"I asked looking back at her.
She smiled,"Your free from strife,I can tell you that much."She laughed before walking away.I hastily ran after her to catch up with her large strides.
When I caught up she stopped at a stream before she sat down on a tree stomp."Come my child."She voiced,real soft like.I slowly walked towards her before sitting down on the grass before her.
I looked around in a daze by this enchanted place.
"Beautiful isn't it?"She asked,I looked at her to see she was already gazing down at me with....Love?
I tilted my head to the side looking at her,"Who are you?"I inquired.I mean I still don't even know where I'm at,let along know who this women is that came out of no where when I was crying my heart out.She smiled at me,
"Im Vega,your grandmother."She said.Wait hold up.My......Grandmother!
"V-Vega.As in THE great and powerful Vega!?"I shouted,scrambling to my feet.I was looking at her with wide eyes while she laughed before I bowed.
"My apologies."I muttered bowing,using my golden hair as a curtain to hide me from her.
She calmed down before she lifted my head up,"My grandchildren never have to bow,to their grandma."She said.There it goes again!She must have noticed my confused and frustrated expression because she pulled me down to sit on the stomp with her.
"Jadah,theres so much you don't know and the answers are laid out in front of you."She said,making me groan before I stood up.
"I know!I feel so left in the dark about everything!I don't know anything about you other than what Jax,and Warren told me-"
"That's something."She chimed in.I started pacing around in a circle,
"But I mean details on how you're related to me.Not what everyone else knows."I said softly stopping to stare at her.
"Well if it's answers you want,then you need to speak with your parents."I sighed,throwing my head back in annoyance and exasperation.
"Is there anything you can tell me that they-or anyone else cant?"I asked plopping back down on the stomp.
Her face turned serious,bone chilling serious."There is something I can tell you."I nodded my head for her to go on,"Your babies have more power than you can imagine.They are special,just like my two were but more powerful."She said with proudness coating her words,"Now all I can say about them is that there's a boy and girl,but the girl is the youngest and will bring troubled and strayed wolves together."She said,I smiled and consciously my hand moved to my stomach."Now Jadah your son is special but his destiny is less complexed than hers and that's all I'll say."She finished,I nodded my head and let my mind race.
I'm in this alone.I know Mal and the others will be there but their not as powerful as me.Its my task to defeat Talen and protect and save my family,I'll be okay.
"Something bothering you child?"She asked,bringing me out of my thoughts.
"It's just that I'm alone in this.No help,the others will be there but I'm the most powerful of them all."A lone tear slid out of my eye,"Vega I'm scared,Im pregnant and I have to defeat him.What if....s-something goes wrong and I d-"
"No,hush child."She cooed wrapping a comforting arm around my shoulder,"Jadah you and Talen are both very powerful,I can't say there won't be blood shed from both packs because it's bound to happen.But you have to be strong for your two babies and your mate.You're the Luna and you must guide them in the right direction,be their leader along with Malachi.You are their rock and they need you to be strong,trust and have confidence in your self and powers.The light from within,defeats the darkness with the help of kin."She said wisely.I looked at her with a confused expression,
"Huh?"I questioned completely confused.
"The light from within,defeats the darkness with the help of Kin."She said again.What on earth does that mean?
She looked off into the distance before looking at me again and standing up,"Jadah I know your confused but I promise everything is crystal clear from here on out."She said smiling softly as,then I was hit with a head splitting headache.
"Agh!"I groaned holding my head,
"The answers are in front of you,The light from within,defeats the darkness with help of kin."She repeated before everything went all blurry and fuzzy on me.
"Answers,my child,right in front of you."That was all I heard before blackness consumed me once again.

"Come on angel,wake up.Come back to me."I heard a hoarse voice say just barely above a whisper.
I felt the tingles,and warmth fill me as I slowly gained consciousness.I hear a beeping noise,and sniffles around me.I slowly opened my eyes but immediately shut them from the glaring of the bright light above me.I opened my eyes slowly squinting before I sat up holding my head from the painful head ache I have.
"Ugh what happened?"I groaned looking around,a round full of gasps filled the room.
My eyes opened wider and I noticed my family was in here,even my ex family.They were all shocked and relieved,
"Angel?"I heard the deep and velvety voice of Mal.
I turned to the left and saw him with puffy red eyes,holding my hand in his big calloused ones.Its pretty clear Martin and Levi's been keeping everyone on their toes with training.
"Yes Mal."I answered smiling at him before my hand went down to my belly.I sighed in relief when I felt my....slightly bigger bump on my stomach.
"How long was I out?"I asked looking at all of their faces,
"For about a week sweetheart."Jax said and my eyes grew wide.
My mouth was wide open before I spoke,"Why?And what happened?"I asked confused.
"Well after the news from Sam you passed out and have been out ever since."Mal answered sitting on the bed and scooping me up in his arms which were slightly bigger with muscle.
"You scared us to death Jay,don't over exert you self again."Mom scolded,I sat up in Mal's arms.
"But I haven't.Mal carries me around like a baby all the time,"He growled at me but I rolled my eyes,"I don't even do much."I answered completely confused.
"Well you not might have been physically tiring your self out,but mentally you have.Doctor said by using your powers you tire not only your self but the babies."I gasped,"No more powers Jadah."He said firmly.
I feel terrible.I was weakening myself and my babies trying to use my powers.My hand rubbed my stomach,Mal laid his hand over mines in a protective and loving manor.
"That also means no more pack business."Mal states and I groaned before looking at him.
"But that's not what tires me out!"I shouted completely outraged.
"You still stress over it and stress isn't good for you or the babies."He said sternly,just to avoid an argument I stayed quiet.
I nodded my head before relaxing in his arms but not before I was cocooned in bone crushing hugs from my family.
"Oh Jay you had us worried sick."Georgie said squeezing me tighter,
"Yeah Jay."Gin agreed hugging my head.
"Little sister if you use your powers again,We will all kick your ass."Kendall and Anthony said squeezing me a million times harder.They all nodded in agreement but I couldn't breathe,literally.
My heart monitor sped up and the beeping got louder,"Let her go!"Mal yelled and everyone released me.
I took big gulps of air greedily sucking in.They all muttered a sorry and I glared at them playfully,they bash fully looked down.I noticed my ex family was sitting in the corner watching us with jealousy,and amusement in their eyes.
"Answers are right in front of you."I heard Vegas voice echo through my head.I nodded my head before my face went serious,
"Can I have a word alone with Larry and Lauren?"I asked,never taking taking my eyes off of the two slumped over figures in the corner.My lips went into a thin line as I waited for them to blow up.
Lauren and Larry looked shocked and so did my ex siblings.My family snarled and growled loudly,
"Why do you want to talk to them?"Sophia asked furiously my family nodded agreeing but I however remained calm.
"Calm down mom.It's important to me."I said softly,she calmed down but was still angry.
"What's so important that you can't say it around us?"Tyler asked,hurt in his green eyes.I groaned frustrated Mal was growling about to speak but I silenced him.
"It involves me.My history about why I am the way that I am,It's about who Jadah is!"I said reigning my temper that was ready to burst,"Nothing's going to happen,not while you guys are near me.You're my family I just need these answers."I said in a soft but exhausted voice.
My family nodded before apologizing and walking outside of my room.Mal refused to leave so he stayed on the hospital bed holding me.Larry and Lauren looked hopeful but confused as to why I wanted to speak with them.
I eyed the people who I once called family before I spoke,"I need answers."I said getting straight to the point.They nodded their heads for me to go on but Lauren spoke,
"But can I ask one simple question?"She asked warily,Mal squeezed my waist.
I nodded for her to speak,"Why do you call them family?"She asked obviously hurt,Larry squeezed her hand noticing the tears welling up in her hazel eyes.
I sighed annoyed before I spoke,"Because they actually treat me like family.Theres your answer now answer some of my quest-"
"What did we do that makes you feel like we didn't treat you like family?"She asked,a few tears slipping out of her eyes.
I gave her an incredulous look,"Did you really just ask me that?How about when when your sons and daughter got jealous because I'm a white wolf?They didn't even say happy birthday to me when it was my birthday.Leilas sneaky ass made me walk to school while she drove my damn car!When he,"I jutted my thumb behind me to Mal,"Lied and said I wasn't his mate and he took me to his house where you all were waiting,you watched as I was being mangled in front of everyone!You didn't bother to stop them or try to help me when it was happening!You sat and watched."I finished.My face was red from screaming and not breathing,and I could feel the pain from 1 year ago when I left.
Mal was tense behind me clutching me tighter to his chest,and they had tears running down their faces.I took a deep breath and released it,calming myself down before I leaned back on Mal.He placed his face in the crook of my neck and rested his hands on my stomach rubbing it softly.
"A real family would never watch as their daughter or sister was being abused in front of them.And I know for a fact my family would tear anyone limb from limb if they ever hurt me."I said watching their faces hold shame."I would do the same for them in a heart beat.I of course would've done the same for you guys but you betrayed me in the worse kind of way."I said softly feeling my throat tighten.
I cleared my throat before sitting up,"You guys said you would answer any questions I have so I would like to get on with it."I said calmly,feeling a weight lift off my shoulders.I finally got to tell them how I felt and I feel great.
"Wait can I ask one more question?"Lauren asked again in a raspy voice.I nodded my head stiffly,
"How come you forgave Malachi when he rejected you and hurt you but you can't forgive us?"She asked.
I knew someone was gonna ask me this question so I sat up straighter and looked at them,"You are right I did forgive Mal but I won't say I just gave him my forgiveness like that."I snapped my fingers."He had to earn it and I could never find it in my heart to hate him or anyone.Your my family and I want to forgive you too but it's hard.You guys hurt me more than anything,it's hard to forgive you guys. When I needed you the most you completely ignored me but now that I don't need you guys you finally pay attention to me."I said smiling down to myself,
"My family,My REAL family would never ignore me or hurt me.They loved me before they knew how powerful or strong I was.It was unconditional love,something I wish I got from you guys."I looked up at them,"So what I'm trying to say is I will always love you guys because you were my family but I need to know you want my forgiveness,you haven't gotten my forgiveness because all you guys seem managed to do was fight with my family and I won't allow anyone to hurt them."I stated,"So if you show me that I can forgive and trust you then maybe just maybe I'll give you guys a chance."I finished,they all smiled big like maniacs.Lauren sat up straighter after wiping away her tears before she gave me her attention.
"What do you want to know?"She asked still smiling like crazy.I laughed before getting serious again,
"How am I or how are we connected to the Vega and Vincent bloodline?"I asked.A small smile covered her face,
"Me.Thats how we're connected to it."She sucked in a breath before speaking again,"My mom was one of the twins that sacrificed their lives to defeat Talon."My breath hitched,"Viola was her name."She laughed,"She always said that the eldest one gets the strongest powers but uncle Victor just so happened to be the eldest.Of course my mom had strong powers or well abilities but his were stronger and that's how they defeated Talon."She finished looking up at me.
"So are you the youngest?Do you even have any siblings?"I asked but she only laughed.
"Yes I am the youngest.The youngest of two,I have an older sister,and the eldest of us both is Liam.My brother,he has abilities but not as many as you.Like the book Jax said only grandma Vega had that many abilities and then it was uncle Victor so you must've gotten your powers from both of them."She said and my eyes widened,
"Wow.So do you have any powers?"I asked,she smiled before she shook her head 'No'.I gave an apologetic smile,
"It is okay.I know I wasn't as lucky as my siblings to inherit powers but that is okay,because if I had powers then Jadah you wouldn't."She replied smiling at me,and for the first time in a long time I seen proudness in her eyes.
I blushed a bit before clearing my throat,"But I'm the youngest,how come Lucas didn't get powers?"I asked puzzled.My moms the youngest and she didn't get powers so shouldn't Lucas have the strongest abilities?
"Jadah I really don't know how or why you got your powers and they didn't.But you and me are the same.Im the youngest but I didn't get any powers,and now your my youngest but you do have powers.Plot twist huh?"She asked amused which made me laugh a bit.
Then my face went back to serious.I sat up straighter and looked straight ahead at my ex siblings.
"Why?"I asked,they lowered their heads.Leila sniffed letting tears fall out her eyes and so did Lucas.The only one who was quiet was Leo who received my hard and strong glare.
Leila looked up again with tears in her eyes and a red nose."I'm sorry Jadah."She whispered in a regretful voice.
I almost wavered a bit,wanting to hug her but she still didn't answer my question."Why Leila?Lucas,and Leo?Why'd you hurt and betray your younger sister?What did I do?We were all so close and now look at us."I said,tears beginning to fill my eyes.Then I looked at my parents,specifically my dad.
"Why?Why did my parents watch their helpless and youngest daughter get abused by the alphas?You guys were just telling me you loved me more than the stars love the moon,and the sun loves to shine."I looked down at the white hospital sheets on the bed,glaring at them before I let out a humorless chuckle."Was that just a lie?Or did you actually mean it once you found out about my wolf?"I looked back up at them to see they all were crying.Lauren gasped covering her mouth.
I guess Amaris came back.I looked at them long and hard waiting for an answer.Amaris was hurt,sad,and angered we both are.Betrayal from a friend is painful but you eventually get over it,but betrayal from your family is devastating you dwell on the pain over time.It's not that easy to forget.
"Are you gonna answer,or are you just gonna look at me and cry?"I asked in a calm but angry voice.
A strangled sob came from my parents,but I ignored them and looked back down at the hospital bed."Wounds are easy to heal,but the one that is not easily healed is the heart."A bittersweet feeling filled me,"The hardest to heal but,mine has been healed."I said smiling before looking back up at them,"Even though you've torn my heart up to shreds,people can heal it over time.And my healers are the DarkKnight family.My family,they picked up the pieces of my heart and put it back together.It's not the same as before,but it's together.And the worst thing is,is that the pain came from the ones closest to me."I began sitting up and getting out of bed with Mal's help,before taking his hand in mine.
We headed to the door ignoring my crying family,placing my hand on the door knob I twisted it and headed out the door.My family immediately hugged me but the first was Sophia,
"We love you babygirl."She muttered rubbing my back.I smiled squeezing her tighter,
"I love you guys more.More than anything."I replied,we pulled back and I let Mal pick me up and take me out of the hospital.
The chemicals in here are killing me and so is my stomach.Mal carried me to the house and into the kitchen but one thing kept replaying in my mind.
I got my answers.My broken and accepted answers.I wanted it so I got it,my answers.
Sorry guys for taking years on updating but my phone is broke and I'm working on the iPad.Its pretty difficult to try and update when you have 2 little sisters and a busy momð,but here it is and I hoped you liked it.I will update more but until then,please comment,message me,and voteðð
