We were almost to the house when two guards,and Lauren ran up to us frantically.She looked at everyone abashed before she spoke,
"We want to give you your answers,and I called my brother to help you with the war."I was stunned,my....uncle is coming out to help us?My thoughts were interrupted by the guards,
"Well good,we're going to need it because we just received another threat from Talen,but this time with a date."The guard with shaggy brown hair handed me the crumpled piece of paper and as I was about to read it Mal snatched it out of my hand.
My head snapped up to him but he was astoundingly glaring at the poor man.Poor thing was shaking in his designer jeans but back to the problem at hand.
I snatched the paper back from Mal,I glared viciously when he was about to take it again.His hand froze in the air before he growled lowly,
"Jadah,hand me the paper."Even though the way he said my name made me shudder from how deathly serious he was,I stood my ground.
"No.You have to tell me what's been going on anyways,what happened to being in this together?"I asked accusingly,my glare unwavering.
He still glared at me from my defiance but he sighed and grabbed my hand tightly.Not so much that it hurt,but enough so I couldn't snatch my hand away.We begin walking into the house,while I was trying to get a peek at the note and when I almost seen the sloppy hand writing I received a growl from Mal.
"Can I talk to you?"I noticed that voice was from Lauren.I turned my head and seen her about to grab moms shoulder,I was about to warn her not to but I was too late.
Mom already had Lauren on the ground wheezing.I pulled Mal to a stop before I struggled to get out of his grip,he looked down at me before he released me and I went flying.
I almost hit the wall but arms caught me before I could.This scent was unrecognizable and he was less bulkier than the men within our pack.
I looked up and seen a handsome brown haired guy holding my arms.I kicked him in the balls,and watched him drop in pain.
"Who are you?"I seethed,a growl ripped through the air before Mal was behind me,holding me to his chest.I rolled my eyes.The guy is a werewolf....has the aura of an alpha actually so I'm pretty sure he can tell I'm mated.
"Are you okay?I didn't hurt you did I?Babe I'm sorry."He rambled but I reached behind me and put my palm to his mouth while never taking my eyes off of this unknown guy who thankfully saved mine,and my babies life.
"Mal I'm fine,you didn't hurt me,lucky for me this guy stopped me from hitting the wall."I replied eyeing the balled up figure on the ground.He's an alpha and he can't take a simple hit to the balls?Pitiful.
Mal removed my hand from his mouth,"Okay,but this is Alpha Dean from DarkMoon Pack."I was right,he is an alpha.But oops on my part.
I hastily lowered myself to the floor as best as I could with a big belly to help him up.Mal wasn't pleased but I ignored him and pulled up the distressed alpha.
"Sorry,I didn't recognize you or your scent."I apologized smiling bashfully after helping him up.Mal wrapped his arms around my waist,
"Angel you shouldn't strain yourself.Remember what the doctor said."He scolded but I waved him off.
He started to lift me in the air and I let out an embarrassed chuckle,"Mal I'm fine,gosh."I muttered,hiding my red cheeks with ny hands.Everyone laughed at the predicament I'm in.
"Well aren't you two just lovely."Dean said,"As your mate said,im the alpha of the DarkMoon Pack and we came to aid you in your war.Even though I don't like violence,and I rarely help packs,I had to help an old friend in need."He said showing us his sharp pearly whites.
I smiled at him,"Thank you,for both agreeing to help us,and saving me from crashing into that wall."I said smiling and rubbing my bloated belly.Dean smiled,
"I didn't know you have a bundle in the oven."He said staring at my stomach,I nodded still rubbing my stomach.Make that two bundles in the oven.Mal hugged me closer to his chest.
I looked to where mom was standing above Lauren glaring at her."Listen here,do not lay a finger on me unless you want to lose them."She growled,dad was near her side to calm her down,Lauren was terrified.
I kinda felt bad for her but you don't ever just grab someone,especially not a Luna.Larry walked over to Lauren while dad was watching him like a hawk,waiting for him to do some thing sneaky.We all were but when I seen the fear written across his face my heart softened a bit.My ole "tough" dad now quivering before my current one.
This is the man who used to scare me and my ex siblings shitless,but now you kinda feel bad for the guy.Nonetheless he should've never tried to stand up to an alpha,especially my dad.
My thoughts were interrupted when Mal started walking up the stairs,the girls were playing with the boys so I was calm but still anxious.I want to know what's in that note but at the same time I don't.I'm afraid for what he has to say.
Mal opened the door to the office with Alpha Dean,Warren,and the betas coming in after us.He walked us to the head of the table where he sat down and adjusted me in his lap.The note was just sitting in his hand and my eyes couldn't and wouldn't leave that damned letter!
I looked up at Mal to make sure he wasn't on to me and he wasn't.He was too busy listening to whatever Dean was saying which is perfect for me.I looked around the room and saw everyone else was paying attention to Dean as well so I looked back down at the letter and snatched with inhuman speed.
Mal growled lowly at me while his other hand constricted my waist.I bit my lip before slowly opening the letter but his hand was tightening as I did so.
"I'm warning you Jadah."I froze a bit but opened it all the way and it said,
"It seems my threats weren't enough to grab your attention so maybe this will.If you and your worthless pack isn't ready by tomorrow you will face a painful demise,yours especially Jadah."My breath hitched,
"Jadah stop reading it."Mal hissed,the pressure on my waist disappeared,but the cold fear from his words filled its place like water.
I took a deep breath and continued reading,"I heard your having twins,congratulations!I promise after I slowly kill your family in front of you,I'll let you live until their born,then I'll come to get them when the pain from your mates death slowly kills you.Besides the point,just wanna give you an insight on your future,but see you in one day!

I was shaking with anger and I think Mal was too.I let out an aggravated and ballistic roar.I screamed so loud the window panes rattled and people had to cover their ears.
That's how pissed I am,I will rip him limb from limb if he even thinks he will or can touch my pups!I will rip that little bastard to ribbons.The door busted open and there in front of it was an alert Jax,mom,brothers,Levi, Martin,and Georgie.
I was still shaking with anger but big muscular arms wrapped around my stomach and in a split second I stopped shaking.I took a deep breath in,and one out before I focused on my worried family members.
"What happened?"Jax asked coming towards us taking big strides,followed by the rest of my family.
I simply threw the balled up paper at him which he easily caught and IÂ waited for the explosion.His eyes scanned furiously over the note,it didn't take long before his eyes began flashing from bright green,to light brown.Sophia read it over and her eyes began bleeding black,down the row the note went and each response was the same.They all responded with furious growls.
Jax took a moment to calm down before he looked us over,"Now we have what we need to know.Before it even comes time for his appearance,we will be ready."He said in a strong and determined voice.The confidence in his tone put me at ease.He briefly looked over me and Mal before nodding his head and throwing commands out to everyone in the room.
He began forming strategies for what could happen,and how to protect the pack.He made sure to cover every angle.He gave Mal a firm nod before glancing at me,next thing I knew I was being hauled out of the office by Mal.
I huffed and started pounding on his chest,"Let me go,I'm apart of this as....much as,you are!"I shouted displeased by his actions.Mal let out a loud and powerful roar before he had me against the wall with my arms pinned above my head.
His angry ocean blue eyes were clouding over like a storm and his breaths were quickening.To say I was scared was an understatement."I have had enough of your attitude.Yes you are apart of this and that's why I'm trying to protect you.I will NOT let you interfere with these plans when we're trying to protect everyone including you and our pups.Now I'm gonna say this once and only once,you will keep your little ass out of this and go lead our pack to safety and do your job as Luna.Understood?"He asked with so much force that had me ready to comply with ease.I hate his patronizing tone but all I can do for now is protect my babies and our pack,like he said.
His impatient growl interrupted my thoughts,focusing my attention back on him I silently nodded staring deep into his now shining blue eyes.He nodded his head in approval before he grunted and grabbed my hand tightly.I let him lead me to the living room where everyone was carefree and enjoying each others company,too bad it can't stay like this.Mal nudged me forward,I looked back at him and nodded before I blew out a breath and looked at everyone before screaming my loudest.
"EVERYONE COME HERE!"I yelled causing people to cover their sensitive ears but nonetheless they followed instructions.Everyone from outside came in and stood with the others which was women,and their kids.All of the warriors have their own orders to follow.
I looked over everyone and seen the kids standing together,and the adults with anxious expressions on their faces.Patiently waiting for me to speak.I blew out another breath,
"So we just received a note from Talen but this time with a date given,"I stopped speaking once everyone gasped and mothers pulled their children to their side trying to shield them,the stray kids,my girls,and Kate all stood huddled under Gin who stood up tall with a poker face just like dads.
A dignified blaze bubbles within me,and proudness was beaming from my eyes at her."I know"I sympathized."But the Warriors and Malachi are taking care of it,"I gestured to Mal before relief filled their eyes,"So we must evacuate to the safe place."I finished watching all the mothers and their children scramble into a line ready to retreat.
"Now everyone follow me to the safe place."Mal said earning eager nods from the people.He started leading the way into the halls but I couldn't help but turn my attention towards the crowd of kids surrounding Gin.
A crying girl clutched Gins shirt when a boy with brown hair and blue eyes spoke,"Hey Lilly don't cry,Ginger will protect us,and the Luna will be there."He cooed grabbing her free hand,her tears retracted until she was left sniffling.I smiled at them,their gonna be mates.
Kate had one of Gins hands,and Anna had the other which had Sarah linked to hers.Gin and Kate started to calm the crying kids down and my girls ran to me once I was in sight.They wrapped their arms around my legs and hugged them,
"Jadah aren't you coming to the safe place too?"Anna asked in a small sweet voice,I smiled down at her.
"Of course she is.We have to protect my niece and nephew."Gin voiced standing tall with her arms crossed over each other.I smiled at her,my hot tamale of a sister.
"Gins right,now let's go."I said pushing the kids ahead until I was left waddling behind them with my hand over stomach.Mal was waiting at the end of the hall for me before we came to a barren room,he went to a wall and pushed it open.
"Watch your step now."I said ushering everyone in the doorway which was a hassle because they all wanted to get in quickly but in less than a second they were all down the eerie steps waiting on us.Mal pulled the wall closed by the handle,before picking me up and helping me down the stairs.
It was pretty dark and the only light source was the flickering lightbulb on the ceiling.Everyone was crowded and started to complain as we all tried getting comfortable,
"Watch out,excuse me."Mal said pushing through the crowd until he came to what looked like a hidden door on the floor,he pulled up the secret handle and there was a ladder and lights coming from the hole.
"I'll go first."He said and received nods from us.He carefully slid down the ladder until he reached the bottom,
"Come angel."He said,motioning his hands downward.I nodded before cautiously entering the hole,careful of my baby bump.
I climbed down the ladder until hands gripped my waist and set me down on the plush carpet which was under my feet.
"Thanks Hun,help the others."I said waving my hand to the people above us.
"Kids first."He called,I heard little feet hit the metal ladder before hitting the carpet.
I looked around and was mesmerized by the safe houses' beauty.It was beautiful with couches displayed everywhere,no Tv unfortunately but there was a book case.I walked further around and seen a kitchen with a sink,a fridge,and a pantry.Bunk beds which already had covers over them,then there was a big bed which looked super soft.I spent around and saw lanterns hanging from the walls with the knobs to dim them.
"Nice."I commented holding my stomach,my feet were aching so I plopped down on the plush bed and relaxed.
Everyone called bunks with each other while others began digging around for food.A women with auburn hair approached me,
"Would you like something to eat Luna?"She asked politely while bowing her head,I smiled at her.
"You can call me Jadah,and yes please."I replied with a smile,she returned it before walking off into the kitchen.
I was looking around,smiling at the kids who were now calmed down and sitting in their beds.I felt him before I seen him,Mal plopped down on the bed and smiled at me.I pouted a bit because he will be out protecting us while we're in here safe.
He sent a sympathetic smile my way before kissing my lips,slowly and passionately making me melt.When he pulled back a tear slipped from my eye which I quickly wiped away,
"Be careful Mal,Come back to us please."I pleaded silently,while caressing his face.
He grabbed my hand and placed a gentle kiss on it before he kissed my forehead,"I will,I promised I would come back and I will.I won't leave my queen,princess,and prince behind."He smiled making me laugh,I smiled before grabbing his big hand and placing a kiss on it before sitting it on my stomach.
I got comfortable before speaking,"Can we name the babies before you go?"I asked,I smiled big when he nodded yes before getting comfortable on the bed as well.
"Can their names start with R's?"He questioned gazing at me,I smiled.
"Of course...."He smiled before we both started thinking.
I perked up when a name popped into my head,the same thing happened to Mal before I spoke,
"Ryker!"I shouted,
"Rainna!"He yelled smiling before we both laughed.
I let out a happy squeal while clapping,"Prince Ryker,and.."
"Princess Rainna,"He finished,I smiled at him.
"That's beautiful."I complimented,
He smiled at me,"That name is bad ass!"He commented making me and everyone else around us laugh.
"So it's settled,Ryker and Rainna."He said and I nodded loving how they sounded so good together.
My frown came back once he placed a kiss on my lips and his hand disappeared from my grasp.I wanted to scream and cry because my mate and everyone else's mates have to fight because Talen couldn't just forget the problems of the past.
I looked back up at him,"Come back love."I whispered to him feeling my bottom lip tremble.
His thumb brushed against my bottom lip,and in his eyes I could see the pain of leaving us.
"I will my angel."He whispered back softly before placing a light kiss on my forehead and backing away slowly to the ladder.
My eyes followed his every movement until he gave one last wistful glance my way and climbed the ladder.
I looked away and felt tears burning in my eyes but I refused to let them fall.The women in here have mates fighting as well so I shouldn't be crying and feeling sorry for myself,I have to be strong for my babies and my pack.
I stood up boldly feeling a warm pressure in my chest before I started checking and making my rounds.
I made sure the kids were bathed,fed,and put to bed before I helped reassure the mothers and wives that their husbands,and sons will be back.I ate some bread,and fruit before quietly waddling to the bathroom so I didn't wake the sleeping kids.
I stripped out of my clothing,my ears perked up from the voices I hear coming from outside the bathroom.I strained a little more but couldn't quite make out what they were saying so I just hopped in the shower.
I washed my hair,and scrubbed my body clean while feeling sad because usually now is the time Mal would wrap his arms around me and rub my stomach while we talked and laughed when the babies kicked.
I laughed to myself just thinking about the memory,I placed a hand on my stomach while smiling,
"He'll come back to us,I know it my little prince and princess."I laughed out loud when they both kicked.
"I love you babies,and I promise to love and protect you always."I vowed before turning the water off and drying of my body and hair.
I slipped back on Mal's clothes inhaling the woodsy minty scent on it,relaxing me completely.I stepped out the bathroom and jumped startled when I heard a deep voice.
"My,my is that Jadah?Look how big you've gotten niece."
