I suppose the first thing I should say, nearly a year after the last chapter got posted, is that I'm still alive.
For those wondering where I went, the combined burnout of writing the original chapters and the rewrite, along with my health issues, lead me to needed a more extended break than I expected. The new job that I started had me working 50-60 hour weeks, giving me no time to actually settle down and relax and write.
I ended up quitting that job back in April, spent 3 months finally getting myself back together.
Started a new job last month (no more firearm sales, now I'm in the Low Voltage field).

With my new abundance of downtime I finally got around to proofreading the book as best I could, and as of today it is available on Amazon via Kindle.

For those who remember what I said, I didn't end up getting the bonus chapters done, those will instead be integrated into Book 2.
In accordance with Amazon's E-Book publishing rules I have stubbed Book 1 to the first three chapters.
I plan to continue posting on Royal Road as I write, but please be aware that I won't be posting at the same frequency as Book 1, I don't want to burn myself out like that again.
