Fast forward to three days later, Dove was doing her hair when Megan entered her room.

"Knock knock~" Dove turned to see Megan and welcomed her with a smile.

"Is there an issue?" She asked as Megan shook her head.

Dove's

"Nope, just here to call you for breakfast. Also.... damn. The uniform suits you!" Megan says, making me chuckle as I finish up with my hair and stand up.

"Everyone looks good in uniform." I say as we walk to the living room where Hyejin is curling her hair.

"Morning Dove! Give me a second-gosh, my hair!" Hyejin says as she finally finishes the last curl.

"Struggling much?" Megan teases as Hyejin rolls her eyes.

"The curls are really well done." I say, making Hyejin proudly flip her hair.

"I think girls should get acknowledged for taking a lot of effort to look effortlessly beautiful every single day." Megan says as we agree.

After breakfast, the three of us head out to school together. The walk to KISS is casual, but I can't help but feel the weight of the day ahead. My first day was a lot to take in, and now, with the new school environment, it's harder to ignore the tension that's bound to surface with Minho around.

As we walk through the school gates, we're greeted by the typical buzz of students. I look around, taking in my surroundings, trying to settle into the rhythm of school life.

But when I spot a familiar face across the courtyard, my heart freezes and skips a beat at the same time-it's Minho. He's standing with his friends, laughing and chatting, but the moment his eyes flick over to me, everything seems to freeze.

Minho catches my gaze, and for a moment, it feels like time slows down. His reaction is subtle, but I noticed how his expression shifts just slightly, as if he's surprised to see me but unsure how to act. His gaze lingers a moment longer than necessary before he quickly looks away, trying to pretend nothing's off.

Megan notices the exchange and glances at me, a teasing smile on her face. "I think someone's staring at you," she says lightly.

I roll my eye, but I can't help but feel my stomach tighten. "It's fine," I reply, trying to sound nonchalant. "It's nothing."

But as we continued walking, my thoughts drifted back to Minho. I can't help but wonder if he still has feelings or if this is just an awkward reunion for him, too.

When we get to class, I try to focus on the lesson, but it's hard to ignore the feeling that Minho is still close. He's seated in the row behind mine, and every now and then, I feel his eyes on me. I catch a glimpse of him through the corner of my eye, but when I look directly at him, he quickly averts his gaze.

Class goes by without incident, but there's an unspoken tension between us. It's not as if we're in the same group or forced to interact much, but I can sense that things are still unresolved between us. Minho, however, seems to be avoiding any direct confrontation, instead focusing on the work at hand.

But he was the one who dumped me.... so why did it feel like we still needed to resolve our issues? It was two years ago... what's there to resolve? Or was it just my brain manipulating me into thinking we still needed to talk? Because part of me still misses him?

"Dove, Hyejin!" I turn to see Megan returning from the washroom. She sits on her seat beside me before speaking. "The teacher is absent, so we have a lot of free time. Should we go get lunch?" She says as Hyejin reapplied her lip tint.

"To be honest, I'm kind of hungry too." I say as Hyejin puts her makeup bag back inside her bag.

"I'm hungry too, should we?" Hyejin asks as we sit and think for a while before eventually deciding to have lunch.

After reaching the cafeteria, me, Megan and Hyejin sit around the corner with our lunch, but my mind keeps wandering back to Minho. I can see him from across the cafeteria, chatting with his friends, and the familiar knot in my stomach tightens. Megan notices my distracted state and raises an eyebrow.

"You okay?" Megan asks.

"Yeah," I reply quickly. "Just... a lot going on, you know? First week, new place. Nothing special."

Hyejin watches me closely but decides to change the subject. "Let's just enjoy lunch. We'll take it one step at a time."

"I feel like Minho keeps looking at you." Megan says after a while, making me gulp.

"Who's Minho?" I pretend not to know him.

"One of the most popular playboy in all of KISS." Hyejin says and rolls her eyes as she takes a spoonful of her seaweed soup.

So he hasn't changed....

"He's dating this one girl. I forgot her name, but I hate her." Megan says, making my heart stop. Of course, he moved on.

"Stella. I get weird vibes from her, too." Hyejin says as I take a bite of a grape.

"She thinks she's his last -" Megan says and chokes out a laugh before coughing, making me and Hyejin hit her back.

"One of these days, you're gonna choke yourself to death." Hyejin says as Megan drinks some of her juice and leans close, motioning us to do the same.

"So... I was in the washroom doing my business. Stella was I think retouching her makeup with her friend.... Julie or something no, Juliana! And I overheard Stella saying that she's gonna be Minho's last." Megan says and laughs as I think about who this Stella might be.

"I thought you were gonna say something more fun. Why did you even bother stating the obvious?" Hyejin says, disappointed as she goes back to eating.

"No! That's the point! Give it a month, and she'll be on the other side of the cafeteria crying." Megan says as she drinks her soup.

"Is she that bad?" I ask as Megan and Hyejin look at each other before looking at me and leaning in.

"I think it's just us." Hyejin says as Megan continues.

"Yeah, everyone thinks she's fine, but something about her doesn't sit right with me and Hyejin." Megan says, making me confused.

"So... you two think something is off with her, but the others don't?" I ask as they nod.

"I don't know, but she has this whole, 'I'm so innocent' vibe going on... it almost feels too unreal, you know. Like, I come from a really, really devoted Christian household, but I am still aware of most things she's not aware of." Hyejin says.

"Exactly... it feels like... she's acting... It's almost too much to bare so i try to avoid having conversations with her as much as possible. It makes me look mean and stupid, so I'd rather be stupid than mean. I don't wanna cause unwanted drama." Megan says as me and Hyejin nod.

As we're eating, I gasp when I see a girl about to fall. The sound of plates clattering to the ground suddenly disrupts the chatter. Everyone in the cafeteria turns toward the noise. The scene is chaotic for a moment, with some students gasping and others laughing.

"Oh gosh..." Megan trails at the sight of the girl on the ground with her food all spilt on the floor.

That's the end of chapter 2!

How is it so far? I feel like there isn't much of Minho, but trust me, there will be.
