The following week was like the cherry on top for Dove's current life. A series of love letters from Kitty to Yuri were spread from god knows where, causing chaos in the dorms. It eventually got so bad that Yuri began ignoring Kitty since the love letters were found by Yuri's girlfriend Julianna, causing them to have a fight and then break apart.

The whole ordeal was LOUD. Mentally and physically. Dove felt like the drama just kept escalating and escalating to the point where she wondered if it would remain like this for the rest of her time in KISS. But at least she was able to go ahead with her plan. To avoid any and all contact with Minho.

Of course she had seen him over the week but he hadn't noticed her so that was okay. As long as she could avoid him, she was fine with the boiling drama in the girl's dorm.

The week had passed, and Monday came by too soon. But Dove had successfully avoided crossing paths with Minho all morning. After doing her business, she came out of the stall to see Kitty alone, washing her hand. It wasn't a surprise since she fell out with her friend, all except Q. Without minding, she just started the tap and began washing my hand.

Dove's

As I washed my hands, I noticed Kitty looking a little more dejected than usual. Her movements were slow, like she was lost in thought, and I could see a faint tension in her posture. We hadn't really talked much lately, and the rumours about her falling out with her friends were all over the school. I knew it had been a rough week for her, just like it had been for me.

I wasn't sure what to say, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I kept my eyes on my hands as I dried them, trying to sound casual, but the concern still slipped into my voice. "Hey, are you okay?"

Kitty glanced up, catching my reflection in the mirror for just a second before quickly looking away. Her lips pressed together in a tight line, and for a moment, she didn't say anything. She just kept washing her hands, like she wasn't sure how to answer.

"I'm fine," she muttered, but I could hear the edge in her voice, the way she was holding something back. I didn't believe her, but I didn't want to push.

I didn't look at her directly, but I just let the quiet hang in the air as I tossed my paper towel into the bin. I gave her a small, almost absent nod. "It's been a rough week for you. You don't have to be fine if you're not, you know. Just... don't keep it all in."

The words came out without thinking, but they felt right. We were classmates, but there was something in the air that felt like more, something unspoken that made me want to reach out.

Kitty didn't respond immediately, but I could tell she heard me. I gave her a quick glance, then turned to leave, not wanting to linger or make her uncomfortable. I didn't need her to spill everything.

As I walked out, I met Hyejin.

"Dove! Thank goodness you're here! Can you hold my things, please? I need to pee!" She said urgently, making me chuckle as I took the bags from her.

"Sure." I said as she gasped and thanked me.

"Thank you!!" She said before frantically entering the women's washroom.

As I waited for Hyejin, I saw Stella at the end of the corridor with her friends. My face soured. Since the pushing incident, I had crossed paths with her multiple times, and honestly, I did not like her. She had this facade I instantly saw through when she spoke to me for the first time. I guess it was just me, Megan, and Hyejin who saw it since no one else really seemed to notice it.

I hated her because of her act, not because she's dating Minho. I don't care about him or who he dates. Even though my heart aches, I'm here to start over not relive the past.

After a while, I found myself on my phone, scrolling through social media since Hyejin seemed to be taking her sweet time in the washroom.

"Hey." I looked up from my phone to see Dae, the boy who was a part of Minho's band of friends.

"Hey." I said before going back to my phone since he didn't seem to talk now or anytime soon. A moment later, he cleared his throat, making me look up at him again, motioning him to go ahead.

"Did you catch the last part of that lecture? I didn't get half of it. I swear, I was just zoning out the whole time."

He gave a small, almost sheepish smile, clearly trying to keep things light. Me, not quite looking at him, nodded slightly as I continued to wait for Hyejin, still caught up in my own thoughts.

"I mean, it was all about the french, right?" Dae continued, keeping his voice casual. "I swear, the professor was speaking in another language by the end of it. I was so lost. You got it, though, didn't you?"

He looked at me with a playful grin, trying to gauge a reaction, even though he knew we both had a lot more on their minds than just the lecture.

"He literally spoke in French while reading the book." I said as I kept Hyejin's duffle bag down and looked through my bag to take out my notebook.

Just as Dae was looking through my notebook, I saw Minho walking towards my path, making me panic, and right that moment, Hyejin came out, making me hold her hand and her duffle bag before running away from the hallway.

"Wahh! Dove!" Hyejin exclaimed as I dashed away with my grip on her and my bag.

"Dove! Your notebook!" Dae called out, confused by my sudden departure.

"Give it to me in class!" I said as we left.

Minho's

I was walking hand in hand with Stella when I saw Dove talking with Dae. I hadn't seen her for over a week, so half of me felt panic and the other half... happy? But as soon as we made eye contact, she panicked and ran off with Hyejin, making my heart deflate for some reason.

Why, though?

"Oh hey." Dae said as Stella and me came to a halt.

"Hey." I said as Stella smiled at Dae.

"I saw you talking to Dove. What were you two talking about?" Stella asked as Dae showed her a notebook with Dove's name on it.

"She's my classmate for French language class, so I was asking her for some notes I missed." Dae said as Stella nodded.

"Oh, is she good in French?" Stella asked as Dae facepalmed.

"Dove is french, so of course she'd excel in French." Dae said, making Stella gasp.

"Oh my gosh! I didn't know that!" Stella said, making me smile a bit at her oblivion.

"Well, I'll head out, I need to take down the notes and return it to her." Dae said before leaving.

"Byee!" Stella said before turning to me, pouting as soon as she noticed me drowning in my thoughts again. "You really are out of it these days, aren't you?" Stella said, making me feel guilty as I kissed her forehead.

"Sorry, love. I'm just off... don't worry, I'll snap out of it." I say, making her sigh and hug me.

"You do realise that you always say that whenever I ask you if you're fine, right?" Stella said, making me hug her back.

"I'm sorry, I'm just... I have no excuse." I say as she rubs my back.

"Is it related to Dove?"

Ohoo, Minho, don't tell me your girlfriend still doesn't know about the fact that you and Dove used to date.

Well, I hope you liked it! See you in the next chapter!
