Today was the day.
Today was Hendery's date with Xiaojun and he wanted to make an impression on his maybe boyfriend, the idea of dating the older made Hendery want to smile, they have been through so much together already so just image all of the amazing things that they will do together in the future.
Hendery now understood what it meant to love someone, he loves Jaemin don't get him wrong but he loves him like a brother while he loves Xiaojun as a boyfriend or lover. Hendery now understands why Jaemin was so pissed off at him in the beginning but now they are back to being friends.
He made sure that he had brought Xiaojun some flowers and a little cute bracelet because he thought that he would like it a lot even though he knew that Xiaojun doesn't really like big things like this. Hendery walked to the movies, he decided that it would be a good place to have a date, he's watched a ton of movies about romance and he knows that most first dates are usually movie dates.
There he saw Xiaojun looking as beautiful as ever, it was a little colder outside so he had on a yellow sweater, blue jeans, a scarf and some shoes that Hendery didn't really care about. Hendery thought that Xiaojun looked beautiful and he's never seen him look this good, probably because he wasn't in school uniform as per usual.
"Xiao Xiao." Hendery called out as he walked towards Xiaojun who immediately smiled once he saw the flowers that were in his hands, honestly Xiaojun never expected of Hendery to be a romantic guy but here he was handing him flowers with a huge smile on his face that only made Xiaojun blush.
"Hey Dery, what movie are we watching today?" Xiaojun asked as he looked at all of the posters on the wall but one movie really stood out to him. He's heard a lot about Back to the Future and he wanted to watch it so badly, he knows that it's an older movie that was made in the 80's but he wanted to watch that movie today with Hendery.
Hendery immediately noticed where Xiaojun was staring and smiled when he saw Back to the Future as one of the posters, he always loved Back to the Future and it happens to be one of his favorite movies.
"We can watch Back to the Future, I happen to love the movie which means you might just end up liking it too." Hendery said as he grabbed Xiaojun's arm and pulled him towards the ticket line, there he payed for two tickets to see Back to the Future and he smiled when he saw an extremely excited Xiaojun holding onto his arm.
"I'm so excited!!" Xiaojun squealed as he held onto Hendery's arm, he never really noticed how muscular he was until now but that doesn't really matter right now because Xiaojun was super excited to see this movie.
Hendery made sure to get whatever Xiaojun wanted during the movie which included popcorn, a hot dog, a few candies and a huge soda for both of them share. They sat down a watched the movie in awe, sure Hendery has watched the movie so many times but everytime he watches that movie, it always feels like the first time.
Xiaojun absolutely loved the movie, he would gasp and cheer just like the rest of the people who were watching this movie, he turned to Hendery and saw how concentrated he was by just watching the movie and it made him fall for him even more. Xiaojun didn't realize how long he was staring at Hendery until he saw Hendery's face close to his which made him squeal but he didn't move.
"Will you be my boyfriend Xiao Xiao?" Hendery whispered as he looked deep into Xiaojun's eyes while he started leaning closer to Xiaojun, the older decided to meet Hendery halfway there as he also leaned in and then whispered,
"Yes I will." Xiaojun then leaned closer and then BOOM, he could feel his lips on Hendery's and it felt amazing, his heart was going crazy and all he could think about was now being Hendery's boyfriend which is something that he's wanted for a very long time.
Once the movie ended, Hendery gave Xiaojun the bracelet that he had gotten, for a second he thought that maybe Xiaojun would give it back to him but instead, he leaned in and kissed Hendery's cheek. With that, Hendery walked Xiaojun home and he got another kiss on the cheek before he headed home as well.
