â¿â¡â¡â¡â¿
The morning bell echoed through the corridors of St. Xavier's High School, signaling the end of a lazy summer and th start of another academic year. Students buzzed with energy, some excitedly reuniting with friends, others dragging their feet with reluctance.

Aarav's Perspective
Aarav Kapoor adjusted the straps of his backpack and sighed as he entered the
chool gates. To most, the beginning of 12th grade was just another year, but for him, it was the final stretch before the looming pressure of entrance exams. He adjusted his neatly pressed tie, already annoyed by the noise around him.
"Aarav bhaiya, football tryouts kab hai?" A junior ran up to him, barely out of breath.
"Pehle din toh chhod do," Aarav muttered, walking toward the senior wing. But even as he spoke, his mind had already drifted to the strategy he'd been planning for the upcoming tournament.
"Kapoor!" A familiar voice called from behind. It was Kabir Mehta, his best friend and the school's biggest troublemaker. Kabir, with his crooked tie and lopsided grin, looked like he'd walked straight out of a Bollywood comedy.
"Arre yaar, tu itna serious kyun hai? Nayi class, naye juniors! Tension free ho ja," Kabir said, slapping Aarav's shoulder.
"You're forgetting, it's also naye assignments, naye lectures," Aarav replied dryly, earning an exaggerated groan from Kabir.
As they walked to their classroom, Kabir continued his commentary about the new juniors, predicting which ones would land in trouble first. Aarav tuned him out, his mind already focused on the year ahead-until he heard a peal of laughter from the corridor that made him look up.

Meera's Perspective
Meera Sharma breezed through the school gates with a spring in her step, her bag slung casually over one shoulder. She was the first face of authority juniors would see this year-the head girl, the dancer, the extrovert who knew everyone by name.
"Head girl, ma'am, late ho gaye aap!" teased Riya Malhotra, her best friend, who was waiting by the notice board.
"Late nahi, entry dramatic honi chahiye," Meera shot back with a wink. "Aur waise bhi, seniors ko impact create karna aana chahiye."
Riya rolled her eyes as the two walked toward the junior classrooms. They stopped to glance at the nervous new students, Meera taking a mental note of which ones might need her guidance-or a little teasing.
"Kya entry maar rahi ho," came a sarcastic voice from the side. Priyanka Verma stood there, her arms crossed. "Head girl ka charm toh dekh liya. Dance mein kaise charm karogi, dekhte hain."
"Priyanka," Meera said with a sugary smile, "charm toh mera natural hai. Copy karna hai toh bata dena."
Riya coughed to hide her laugh as Devika huffed and walked off, muttering something about "overconfident juniors."
As Meera reached her classroom, her eyes scanned the senior wing, where a tall, quiet boy was walking past. Aarav Kapoor. The ever-serious football captain. She grinned. It wasn't the first time she'd noticed him, and it wouldn't be the last.
"Woh serious-wala bhaiya dekh ke aise smile kyun kar rahi ho?" Riya teased, pulling her into the classroom.
"Kyunki kabhi kabhi serious logon ki life mein thoda masti zaroori hoti hai," Meera replied, her smile turning mischievous.

The First Interaction
By lunchtime, the campus was alive with chatter and commotion. Aarav, as usual, sat with Kabir in a quieter corner of the canteen.
"Tu kabhi socialize karega?" Kabir asked, stuffing his mouth with samosas.
Before Aarav could answer, a loud burst of laughter made him glance toward the middle tables, where Meera sat surrounded by her friends. She was animated, gesturing wildly as she narrated a story that had everyone in stitches. Aarav couldn't help but watch, his brow furrowing slightly.
"Meera Sharma," Kabir said knowingly, catching Aarav's glance. "Tere liye nahi bani woh, bro."
"Main kab kuch bola?" Aarav retorted, looking away.
But fate wasn't done with them. As Aarav stood to leave, Meera walked by, her books stacked high in her arms. She didn't see the banana peel on the ground until it was too late. With a yelp, the books flew, landing directly on Aarav's chest.
"Dekho, pehle din hi attack," Kabir quipped, biting back laughter.
"Oops!" Meera said, looking mortified. "Sorry, sorry! Aap theek ho?"
Aarav, barely fazed, nodded stiffly. "Next time, dhyan se chalna."
"Next time?" Meera grinned, recovering quickly. "Acha, toh aapko milne ka plan hai?"
Kabir choked on his samosa, and Aarav stared at her, speechless. Meera picked up her books and gave him a wink before walking off, leaving Aarav flustered and Kabir laughing like a maniac.

The End of the First Day
As the final bell rang, Aarav couldn't shake off the image of Meera's teasing smile. He shook his head, determined to ignore her antics.
Meanwhile, Meera leaned against her desk, a thoughtful smile on her lips. "Let's see, Mr. Kapoor," she murmured to herself. "How long you can stay this serious."
And so, the stage was set for a year neither of them would forget.
