It had been a few days since Adrian had his amazing date with Zion. The date ended fabulously, and there might have been a lot more kisses than Adrian had anticipated.
They have met here and there for short intervals after that date, and Adrian cherished those moments. He cherished ever moment he got with the king.
Thinking back to those moments, he thought about the question that was dreading him the most.
What are we?
They kissed a lot. They hugged a lot. And sure Adrian liked him a lot. But, what level of friendship should Adrian count this as?
Friendship?! Adrian scoffed.
Which friends kiss each other, think about each other all the time, and hope they end up together?
"Excuse meee!!" The woman in front of the counter said. Adrian quickly cam back to his senses.
God, I'm messing up my professional life with these thoughts.
Getting back to the woman, he went on with the day. It went by quicker with Adrian thankfully not daydreaming.

Adrian was done with his shift in the evening, and planned to just stroll around the neighborhood. Getting out of the restaurant, he smiled looking up at the evening sky. Feeling a buzz in his pocket, he took out his phone to see Zion messaging him.
Stop smiling dumbass.... You just saw his name..
Zion - On your left
Do you see a black Porsche?...
Adrian - yess...
Zion - what are you waiting for then?
Adrian chuckled, shaking his head and walking towards the car, knowing pretty well Zion's in there.
Opening the car door, he hopped in, just to be tackled in a hug by his King.
"God, I missed you.." he breathed out, making Adrian blush from the deepness of his hot voice right by his ear.
Adrian smiled shyly at him when Zion moved back, making the king ruffle his hair.
"Are you free? Did you plan to do something after your shift?" Zion asked.
"Yes I am free but how did you know my shift just ended?" Adrian asked back, looking at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"Baby..." Zion smirked, moving closer to the younger's face. And as their noses touched, he breathed out.
"I'm a King." He sat back down after sending a wink at the red boy.
Adrian was glad that the windows of the car were tainted. What would people think if they see their King with the red TellyTubby?

"Remember when you slipped on the banana peel and spilled your juice on the old woman? Like... I thought that only happens in movies!" Zion laughed. They spent the whole evning together, and planned to have a take-away dinner in the car itself.
And now, Zion made it his mission to make Adrian burst from embarrassment.
Why did I even tell them about this??!!
He heard Zion's chuckle as he tried to eat his embarrassment away.
"Not to mention the time you said how you cracked your glass mug by pouring super hot tea in." Zion reminded.
"Remember the time you slept with me?!" Adrian suddenly fired back, making Zion shut up.
"Huh? Got nothing to say now?
And you did that when I was asleep!"
Adrian smirked when Zion suddenly blushed.
Goodness he's beautiful..
This is fun..
They quietly ate for a bit of time, forgetting about their pity fights now that they focused on the deliciousness of the ramen on their laps.
Though one thing bugged in Zion's mind, and it was eating him away.
"Did you...
Did you not like that? I didn't realise and honestly, that is such a stupid move from my side. I should have considered how you felt about it but I didn't even reali-"
"Zion!!
What are you on about?" Adrian asked, his mind forgetting about the conversation he just had, unlike the other.
"You know, when I cuddled up with you." Zion said.
"Oh that! I didn't even care to be honest. It didn't even bother me. I... I actually quite liked it." Adrian said, resulting in both of them suddenly being shy.
"I'm glad." The king smiled, patting the younger's head.
No no no...
Before I break my heart I have to do this.
"Zion. What are we?" Adrian asked, making the whole car pin drop silent. He did not look at the other. He did not want to.
What if he'd laugh at me thinking I wanted to be with him? I do, but what if he doesn't...
Zion cleared his throat.
"Actually, I wanted to meet with you today for a reason." He said.
Oh no, is this our last meeting? Is this the last time I see him in person?
"You are a ray of sunshine. And ever since we've met, I have always liked you. It's not that surprising to be honest as it is not hard for me to feel for someone. But I like you. A lot." Zion said. Adrian could swear he heard a pop with the way he whipped his head.
"I like you too, Zion. So... So much." He replied, a grin adorning his face.
And that confession made both their hearts beat faster. Zion placed his face aside and leaned over to hug the smaller boy. It was convenient to do that as they were sitting in the back seats.
They finally broke apart after what seemed like a million years, not that any of the either were complaining.
"I have something to give you." Zion said after a peaceful silence of both just sitting and enjoying the other's presence.
Zion went over the front of the car to take out a box, not realising he's giving Adrian a full view of his behind.
Oh-
OHHH.... THIC-
"There you go." Zion gave the box to Adrian.
He opened it to find a plain silver necklace. Adrian didn't know much about jewellery but one thing he knew from the first glance of this necklace was... That it was super expensive.
"Zion I...
I can't. This..." He couldn't form a sentence.
"I wanted to give this to someone that I actually wanted to be with, and it holds a very close value to me. If you don't like it, I'll buy you a different one. But please.. don't say no to it." Zion said, making Adrian jump for a hug.
He was very happy with how everything was. And Zion, he felt incredible now that Adrian accepted the gift. He had no idea how much the gift meant for Zion.
He was definitely not ready for the turn of events, though.
