Aldrich clutched the boy tightly in his arms, heart thumping fast as he tried to understand why his boyfriend suddenly fainted. He turned towards Zion, their wild gazes clashing.
Quickly opening the car door, they laid their limp boyfriend down, closing the door back so the others won't be able to see them.
It was an incredibly grateful thing that this restaurant, despite being one of the restaurants only the extremely rich can afford, held no amount of paparazzi and media around it. It was very secure.
"Should we wake him up?" Aldrich asked, feeling a small bead of sweat forming on the back of his neck.
Zion nodded, and then proceeded to grab the small water bottle that was kept in one the containers on the door.
Splashing a few droplets on his face, they watched him flinch, slowly stirring his head with furrowed eyebrows. And slowly, he lifted his eyelids, trying his best to adjust to the very dim light.
It took him a moment to take in his surroundings, but when he got it he tried his best to get up.
His boyfriends were at his aid quickly, but despite of having two pair of arms helping him his body still felt extremely heavy. It was as if moving his arms was a sweat-breaking task in itself.
He groaned at the feeling, closing his eyes while trying his best to understand what was going on.
"Does it hurt?" Zion asked, his voice heavy with worry.
Adrian nodded, and that action itself made him dizzy. Aldrich quickly held him, making him rest his back on his chest.
Zion quickly pressed the back of his hand on Adrian's forehead. And just as he expected, the little boy's head was burning hot.
"Oh baby, you have a fever..." He said in a worrying manner.
"Let's go back home quick then, yeah?" He said, quickly opening the car door to his side to get out of the car, just to be back inside, this time on the driver's seat.
Adrian tried to focus on his mind which was running with thoughts. Instantly, his mind clicked with a thought which he knew meant something. He knew it was better to tell the two about this.
"I thi-" He croaked out, already coughing by the end.
"I think that.. that guy did something." He managed to get the sentence out.
Even if he didn't specify who he was talking about, the Kings knew, instantly focusing more on their boyfriend's words.
"What do you mean, cupcake?" Aldrich asked, pushing Adrian's hair out of his face, holding a concerning gaze.
The car was already speeding towards the palace, but the way Zion was driving was smooth, and Adrian was thankful for it.
"When he picked mwe up.. I felt a pinch on my skin...
If felt sworlen. That place." He slurred out, falling in and out of slumber.
The Kings, however, stiffened in their places. Zion sped the car even more as Aldrich called the doctor.
The ride was definitely not how they expected their ride back home to be.

Adrian slowly lifted up his heavy eyelids, squinting at the low lighting. It felt like every muscle of his was screaming in pain. He felt too tired to even move a single finger.
When his vision finally cleared, he looked around to find himself in bedroom he and the Kings shared. There was an IV connected to the back of his palm.
His throat felt extremely dry, and he didn't remember when he fell asleep.
He could hear faint noises outside, but he didn't know how to call out for them. The door slowly opened, and Zion stepped in, smiling in relief when he saw his boyfriend awake.
He got inside, quickly checking him all over again and asking a million times of he was okay.
Aldrich was right behind him, but as soon as Adrian's tired eyes fell on him, he dramatically moved as back as he could, covering his nose.
Adrian rolled his eyes, his lips curling in a small smile.
Such an Aldrich thing to do..
"Hey, Al. Can yo-
What are you doing?" Zion asked, confused by his sudden behaviour.
Didn't he just force the doctor to check up on the boy three times to make sure 'his baby no bad'?
"What if he has the covid?!" Aldrich whispered the last bit, exaggerating every step of his.
Zion just stood there staring, not understanding why his fiancé was acting like this.
Adrian, on the other hand, let out a chuckle, shaking his head lightly as he scooted over to make place for them, knowing they won't leave him.
Aldrich smiled at his little boyfriend, quickly heading over towards him, relief rushing through his tensed form when he saw that adorable smile.
Carefully picking him up, Aldrich positioned himself behind his boyfriend. Spreading his legs around Adrian, he made him rest his back on his chest as he carded his fingers through his boyfriend's fluffy hair, pressing small kisses along his temples.
"I'll take good care of you. I'll never, ever leave yours, or Zion's side." He said in a possessive manner, making sure his boyfriend was as comfortable as he can be.
Zion smiled at their interaction. Aldrich always knew how to annoy his boyfriend. But Adrian loved that. He loved joking around, and having Zion jokingly scold his fiancé.
Zion always acted as if he didn't see the way Adrian would poke his tongue out. But these two had a very unique relationship.
Zion heard a knock, and upon answering, he got the soup he ordered the maids to make.
Sitting by their legs, he started feeding his boyfriend the hot soup.
"Is everything okay with me?" Adrian asked, his voice small with worry.
Zion quickly nodded his head, making Adrian sigh in relief. He continued feeding as he told him about the issue.
"Apparently, that guy we met in the restaurant, as you said, had initiated that pinch. He injected you. It wasn't anything toxic or harmful. You'll have a fever and a bit of headaches, maybe. And we'll be right by your side." Zion explained.
But Adrian didn't understand. There were still questions rushing in his mind.
"But... Why? I mean... We just me-"
Then it struck him.
He was the boyfriend of two Kings. Rulers of two of the four Super Kingdoms. He should've known, and should've been careful about these things far before.
"We actually found a note on your coat pocket too. He might have put it in. It said 'be careful'." Aldrich said, still massaging his boyfriends head as it rested on his chest.
"That's it?" Adrian asked, confused, and received an affirming nod from Zion in return.
"And we also have sent some of our people to get the guy, and we'll know the cause of his stupidity in a while." Aldrich said.
Zion kept the now empty bowl aside, sitting back by their legs, looking at them lovingly.
"I wanted to take you both back with me." Aldrich said after a while, afraid of how the two might react. When he didn't get any answer from them, he continued.
"I want you two by my side. Now that this happened with Adrian, I know nothing harmful had happened to him but I won't be able to rest without knowing I have him with me. And as for Zion, I do want his support all the time." He said quietly, effectively making the room silent.
He wasn't scared that the two weren't responding. He was actually glad because they are thinking well before making any decision. And so, he didn't utter a word, giving them the time they deserved.
"I mean, yeah I understand. I, to be honest, knew you'd ask about this, somehow. And as you have managed much more than 4 months without your Kingdom, I think this is much less than what I can do for you in return. Unless, Adrian has a problem...?" Zion asked skeptically.
"Oh no no. It's fine!" Adrian beamed, feeling a bit energized with the meal he had.
Zion and Aldrich grinned, sharing a kiss as Zion proceeded to lay on Adrian's legs, his head resting on his boyfriend's stomach.
"I'm glad I have you two. Wherever I am, you two will always be my home." Adrian smiled, a genuine look of adoration as he cuddled with his boyfriends, who somehow had no problem that he was sick.
