156 Chapter 156 – The trickster and the viper

Fiona was from a very rich merchant family but even though they made a ton of money they were still considered lower than the ones with a rank. when the crown prince himself came knocking on their door with a young girl in his tail everyone was shocked.

Prince requested for their youngest daughter, Fiona, to be friends with his close ‘friend’. he said that he was like a brother to Clarina.

Fiona herself had been shocked. Not by Clarian but because of the crown prince. He was so kind to everyone that she fell f him at first sight.

Even though her family had disagreed with this deal, Fiona really wanted to impress the prince she wanted to be close to him and let him fall in love slowly.

Fiona agreed to the deal and entered the school as Clarina’s lackey.

What she didn’t expect was that the woman who smiled kindly near the crown prince was a viper in real life. She decided to ignore that and do her job.

She stayed silent when Clarina did so many bad things and said bad things behind the lady of Rofles’s back. she even sometimes helped spread those rumors.

And the teacher too, she ...she came in at the wrong time and saw the wrong things. I’m sorry for causing a lot of problems.’ She lowered her head. tears dripped down onto her shoe, blurring her vision.

At first, she fought back to make an example for Clarina not to mess with her. but when an innocent, well not completely innocent person, got caught up in the web, she didn’t want to proceed with his problem anymore. Her enemy is Clarina alone. the others are just side characters jumping around. They didn’t have to take the fall for Clarina.

She tugged at Elle. “I don’t think she did it.”

Elle nodded. “Her family is under the control of the crown prince. They might not escape if she doesn’t take the blame.”

“c-can we help her?” Feng whispered softly.

Elle’s eyes shot up at her face and then she smiled brightly. “This is why I like you Meimei. Your always have been so kind’

“no I’m not.. I just don’t feel so good doing that to her. Her future would be ruined because of wet cushions. isn’t that ironic? I don’t want to carry that guilt with me. If this was Clarina in her position, I would have definitely let her take the fall. That girl deserves it, but that green-haired girl, not so much,”

Elle hugged her slightly. “But the principal is involved Now, what can we do?”

“Yeah?” Feng frowned deeply.

“You can ask the twins for their help again. They can definitely stop the principal from going on a rampage.” Elle winked up at her.

“I know that but won’t the principal be angry? I mean we called him down here and now we are telling him to leave. He is a powerful person, anyone in his position is bound to get pissed off when treated like that,” Feng whispered anxiously.

Elle chuckled. “All you have to do is one thing alone. Come here” she pulled Feng down and whispered something.

Feng’s whole face went up in flames. Her cheeks turned a bright shade of red as she glanced at Elle in shock. “You... its impossible.

“I saw it in my future? There is no fighting it. if you want to stop this you might have to do it.” Elle giggled.

Feng gaped down at her. “Wow you are very cunning.”

“I have to be. With my powers, I have to use them for some good right?” Elle pushed her towards Ethan and Aiden.

The boy glanced at her immediately. “Are you feeling dizzy again? Sit down Feng.” Aiden helped her sit down.

Elle gestured for Feng to go for it.

Sighing, Feng got close to Aiden’s ears and whispered what Elle had told him to.

Aiden’s face froze. He became expressionless looking down at her. “I’ll do as you said. D-don’t go back on the promise...”

Feng just blankly glanced up at him. “but how are you going to stop I’m.. the principal is angry and he...”

“I’ve got it under control.” Aiden got close to the principal and tugged at his pants.

the old man glanced down with a bright smile. “What is it my dear munchkin are you hungry? Do you want me to get you snacks?”

“I’m bored and I want to visit your treasure trove can we?”

“Yes, definitely you can choose anything you want.” He held Aiden’s hand and then gestured for Ethan. “Are you okay with leaving the issue as is?”

Ethan glanced at Feng.

Feng nodded. “Please treat it as children playing around. No harm was caused. Things just escalated fast. we are sorry for disturbing you.”

“But the matter about the teacher’s punishment has to be dealt with.” Ethan said resolutely.

“we’ll then, you are dismissed.” The principal decided the fate of the teacher in one word.

The women shattered down to the ground. When she accepted to help the lowly peasant girls, she had thought she was doing good by protecting an innocent soul. All she had to do was keep the rich and mean people away. After all the peasant girl was an innocent flower.

But she didn’t expect a small decision of hers caused a big issue.

She too was born into a peasant family but because of her magic talent and her impeccable manners, she had raised herself to this position. The nobles used to look down at her. She glanced at Feng Mei Rofles. She thought that this girl was like those innocent young girls but no. she was intelligent. She knew how to use her weakness to her benefits.

that girl was a poisonous viper hiding her venom under her tooth. She might look innocent but with one bite she took down people.

Feng frowned gazing at Elle. ‘Why is he asking her that?’

Elle smiled and shrugged. “It might be or it might not be. You know the rules of as seer yourself principal. you can’t reveal anything. There are things you hide too. It’s always better to hide Things that can disrupt the whole world.”

The principal’s expression went stale for a second. he gazed at Elle. “You are right. when the right moment comes the truth will unveil.” He held Aiden’s hand softly. “Shall we go to my treasury now? You kids will love it,”

He left the classroom pulling a reluctant Ethan and Aiden.

Feng glanced at Elle. “What is he hiding?”

“Something very important.” She smiled. “it’s nothing to do with us. Let’s just forget about it,”
