Yubiri dragged the man out of the alleyway into the street. Many started to crowd around them but lady Hiliana made sure to protect the children carefully in her embrace.

“What is going on?” she whispered, with a slight wrinkle on her forehead.

“This man tried to hurt Feng,” Yubiri growled and kicked him again. Fearing that he might be a too violent, he held back his punches. He gripped the man by his collar and lifted him up over his head. “Tell me, why did you follow us creepily.”

The man softly panted. His wheezing breath along with blood splattered on Yubiri’s face, but he was least bothered.

“Tell me!!!”

“Rulia... Rulia, help me,” the man desperately cried looking towards Feng.

Feng on the other hand hid behind lady Hiliana.

In bright light the weird man did not look that fearsome, but the pain from her previous spawn still lingered. She slightly caressed her smooth forehead. ‘What is wrong with this body? I am not that traumatised by him but....’ she glanced at her shivering hands. ‘I can’t stop the shivers.’

The old man wiggled around in Yubiri’s hold. “Rulia!! Are you just going to watch, huh? Is this how I raised you for ten years!!!!” he shouted, pointing towards her.

“Don’t point at her!” Yubiri gripped his offensive fingers and broke his finger. A small snap was heard followed by the man’s pig like cried.

Feng’s heart started to pound loudly. ‘Fuck, does this guy know me? Who is he? ....’ she moved behind Hiliana and gripped her skirt tightly.

The twins next to her, on the other hand silently supported her from both sides.

{‘Hey isn’t Rulia this girl’s real name?’} Aiden softly sent his doubtful thought.

{‘it is? It looks like this pig of a man knew this girl before Feng came into this world.’} Ethan tightly gripped his hand into a fist. {‘We have to deal with this somehow,’}

“Old lady, lets go back. This is too much for little girls to watch,” Ethan suggested, softly gesturing too little Elle, but the little girl was curiously looking at Yubiri as he was punching the man. Clicking his tongue, he then tugged at the lady’s skirt again. “He is scaring Feng,”

This snapped the old lady out of her dazed state. She softly hugged and lifted the three of them up. “Sir Yu, I shall take the kids. Please make sure he is surrendered to the authorities.”

“yes lady Hiliana,” the young mage nodded. He threw the man down with a disgusted look and he wiped his hands clean.

The wounded man sat up with difficulty. “RULIA!! ARE YOU GONNA IGNORE FATHER LIKE THIS!!!!” he screamed, and glared at Feng’s direction.

Lady Hiliana paused immediately. “‘what did you say?”

“You heard me, right? She is my child,”

Feng’s eyes went wide. ‘Oh lord, what drama is this?!!!’ she hide her face in the lady’s shoulders. ‘I’m gonna act like I didn’t hear that,’

“BITCH!! Did you not hear me! Get back here to father!!”

Feng slightly peaked out. The man’s glaring eyes made her shiver uncomfortably. ‘Don’t tell me..... is this my body’s memory?! Did this guy abuse me as a child? What more can I expect form a person who sold his child to the salvers,’

Feng’s eyes chilled a bit.

Lady Hiliana patted her back gently. “Sir Yu, we shall talk later. Please make sure to handle it well.” her upturned eyes glared at the ugly man squirming on the ground.

“You bitch. I raised you for ten years. Is this how you repay me, huh? Look at you all dressed up in glamour and glitter....,”

“Shut up!!!!!” Yubiri slapped his yapping mouth. He kept beating him until the man lost consciousness again.

“I-I... bet you sold yourself to these men. How many though?” the man manically laughed with blood dripping down his mouth.

Lady Hiliana’s pupils went red. “Alvin drags this man to the guards. I fear any movement I might just crush him.”

Yubiri refused to let go of him.

“Sire Yu, please let go.” Alvin pulled at the man’s arms.

“He tarnished her name, yet you want me to spare him!!!!” Yubiri snapped. His white hair suddenly grew longer past his knees and his eyes completely turned red. “Only death is allowed for anyone who tarnishes her name.”

He punched the man’s smiling face in a blind rage.

In his past life he did not take good care of her, partially due to his mother and partially due to his denial. By the time he accepted his feelings for her, she had already gone far.

This life he wished to pay back for all he had done.

This life he wanted for her to live without losing her precious gummy smile.

“For that you have to die!!” his hands glowed white and a huge lighting bold fell down from earth.

“Wait!!” Feng cried loudly. “Wait, a minute.. Please,”

Yubiri stopped instantly. He wiped his hands clean and looked at her with a small smile “sorry I showed my despicable self before you, but Feng, this man deserves to be punished.”

“You can’t!!” she cried suddenly.

“But why not.....” Yubiri frowned.

Feng just bit her nails and shook her head. ‘How the hell can I explain that I got a system notice, huh!!!’

Her sight was completely red. Multiple huge warning notifications that is only visible to her floating in front.

The moment Yubiri mentioned killing this man, the system gave her detonation warning. That would only mean that this character was important and can’t die right now.

Fine layer of sweat dripped down her forehead. “He....he is my father.” She whispered griping tightly onto lady Hiliana’s shoulders. “So please don’t kill him....”
