Few days later, all of them met once again on the deck. This time Feng keenly observed the atmosphere between Yubiri and the twins if by any change they showed hostility or anger she planned to distance herself from Yubiri.

This was the harsh reality. Because Yubiri was strong and he was set to be a main character who falls in love with Clarina. They have crossed her and already problems had arose between the twins and the mage.

‘It is better to distance myself now when I’m younger....’

Feng glanced at Yubiri, who was silently watching the waves.

‘He is my friend..... I can’t just put some distance between us for no reason, can i?...’ she held her cheeks and contemplated on the problem.

Aiden and Ethan ran back to her with a small flower in hand.

“Wow, so pretty,” she touched its soft petal. “Where did you guys find it?”

“Secret~ come down,” Aiden gently pulled her down to his height and placed it in her small bun.

“Does it look good?” Feng feared touching it will destroy the flower, so she just adjusted the flying rogue hair bits.

Ethan smirked widely. “You look so beautiful,”

“Aww, my babies are so cute. I missed these talks, you know. Nowadays all we think about is practice,” she pouted, hugging them both close to her.

Elle also scooted close. “But we are of correct age. If we temper our bones now, we might became great warriors in the future,”

Feng Mei softly smiled. “I don’t want to be a great warrior. I just want to be able to protect the ones I love.” her hands tightened on the two.

Ethan suddenly kissed her cheeks. “I will protect you will all I have, Feng. So don’t strain yourself. You are the most important person in my life,”

“Hey, what about me?!” Aiden shouted from other side and slightly slapped his shoulders.

“You come second,”

“boo hoo. Feng he said I’m second. Fine, you are second as well. Feng is my first.” Aiden put his tongue out.

Ethan playfully smacked him.

Elle saw them bickered with an unknown look. She jumped down, tottered close to the Yubiri and tugged his pants. “Am I your first?”

“First in what?” Yubiri glanced down with his brows raised.

“Priority?”

“No,” he coolly looked away into the horizon.

“Wow, you hurt me. You could have lied, you know,” Elle pouted, clinging to his arms. “But I will not give up. I will one day became beautiful and become your first priority.”

Yubiri chuckled dryly. “That won’t happen,”

“You will see. It will happen. Because I see it.” Elle’s forehead was slightly shimmering red and the mystical signs were glowing.

Yubiri peered at her intently. “Is that why you got close to me.... sigh..” he squatted down. “Kid, the future is not stable. It can change anytime.”

“Not my predictions. It’s fine if you don’t believe me now. But don’t forget my challenge. One day I will be your first,” she said confidently and walked back to her friends.

Yubiri watched her with an unknown look. “That is impossible. I will never change,”

Elle just smiled at him childishly and started to bicker with the twins.

Yubiri’s heart started to pound weirdly. He clenched his fist tightly. ‘It is not possible. That future will not happen at all. Never.’

Without a word, he walked back into his room.

Feng just glanced up to see Yubiri missing. Taking this chance, she pulled the twins even closer. “Hey did you both resolve your problem with him?”

Ethan just scoffed.

Aiden, on the other hand, smiled widely. “We somehow talked...”

“And?”

“And we talked it out. We are still not that close. I don’t know if we can trust him yet,” he said with a slight frown.

“Why do you say that? I mean no offence, but I am genuinely curious,” Feng excitedly moved close to hear the tea.

Aiden sighed. “He is different. His fate is different. That girl Clarina and him.... there is something,”

“No, there is not,” Elle suddenly shouted.

“There is bound to be in the future...” Aiden uttered.

“No, there is not a future in which he will be with her,” she confidently raised her head.

“Well, you don’t know the future best then,” Aiden just smiled at her.

Elle glared at him intently. “Don’t insult my third eye. It can see anyone’s future. As long as I concentrate properly, I can see snippets of their future events. I saw no such thing as you mentioned.”

“You saw his future?” Ethan curiously whispered, peaking from Feng’s other side.

“Hmm, I can personally vouch for him. He will not get together with that maid girl,” Elle said with a wide smirk.

Aiden and Ethan glanced at each other.

{‘Something has definitely changed. What if that guy ends up with Feng!’} Ethan worriedly sent his thoughts.

{‘Shit that isn’t something I would like to witness,’} Aiden bit his lips.

{‘I thought you confidently said that you were okay with Feng’s choice in lover.’} Ethan nudged his hand.

{‘Yes between us, not him!!’} Aiden glared at him with his eyes wide open.

They both intently peered at little Elle. “So who does he end up with?”

The little girl blushed and ran away.

“Hey answer us!!!”

They both chased her.

Feng just chuckled. “Children are so spirited. Agh I just want to sleep....”
