I'm finally living again
If you knew me,
Or at least,
If you saw my social media
From last semester,
You wouldn't probably know a difference
Between my
Surviving
And my
Living.
Online, and even in person,
My life doesn't look much different this semester
I smile
I work
I go on adventures
I read my Bible
I'm surrounded with friends
Yet,
The contrast inside of me
Is radically different
Time really does heal all wounds
My heart finally stopped breaking
I'm finally living again,
And not just surviving
Day by day
As my heart shatters within
I'm living again.
And oh how sweet that is.
