365

Today marks a year

Since we broke up,

365 days.

I've done a lot in 365 days.

I've lived a lot of life,

Without you.

I have lived with 3 of my best friends.

I have moved into two apartments.

I watched two of my best friends get engaged.

I have watched three of my closest friends

Get married

I lost my grandpa.

I started, and finished, my Junior year.

I started my Senior year.

I survived a tornado.

I read my Bible every morning

And I walked through

A season of mourning,

Clinging to the Lord's side.

I made a new best friend.

I went on a date.

I talked to a few new boys.

I lead two teams,

And worked two micro internships.

I launched a marketing campaign

For a funeral company.

I got my first real internship.

I discovered what I actually want to do

With my life.

I found a job that I love.

I shot three weddings.

I discovered that the real world isn't so scary,

And I learned to be excited about the future.

I went to Poland.

I discovered a love for missions

Within myself.

I mentored Andi.

I forgave C,

C forgave me.

I planned a bachelorette.

I fell in love with the church,

It's somehow more church

Than it ever has been.

I loved a kid named Oli,

And sang The Blessing over my sweet kids

I taught Sunday school,

My class reached 19 kids.

I grew 6 grey hairs

I was the Theta Traditions chair,

And for awhile I was the Theta President

I bought a car

I chopped my hair short, finally

We moved church buildings

I actually started learning my major.

I watched an Ebenezer be built

On the chapel stage at OC

I wore a lot of suits.

I taught kindergarten

I started buying groceries

I fell in love with Trader Joe's

& slowly, with adult life

Here's to 365 days!

Praise the Lord, for He is good!
