Barefoot and pregnant
In the kitchen.
Cooking for her family
And decorating her home.
Maybe skirts aren't so bad
And maybe marriage isn't so oppressive.
Maybe that lifestyle
Can be beautiful.
Maybe I just wasn't ready for it
