3rd person's POV
After match,Y/n and Harry I joined Hermione, Ron and Hagrid. Hermione told them that Snape was trying to jinx their broom, but Y/n and Hagrid disagreed immediately.
"Nonsense! Why would Snape put a curse on Y/n and Harry's broom?" Hagrid said
"Who knows? Why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asked beside him.
"We are not sure Harry" Y/n said while walking Harry and Ron
"Who told you about fluffy?" Hagrid asked right away
"Fluffy?" Ron asked disbelieved
"That thing has a name?" Hermione asked in the same reaction
"Of course he's got a name, He's mine...I bought him off an Irishman on a pub last year, then I lent him to Dumbledor to guard the-" Hagrid told them
"Yes?" Harry asked eagerly
"Shouldn't have said that. No-more questions! don't ask anymore Questions, that's a top secret, that is" Hagrid said squinting his eyes.
"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding Snape-" Harry begun
"Professor Snape" Y/n corrected him
"ugh! he's trying to steal it" Harry said glaring at Y/n for a second
"Codswallop!" Hagrid grunted
"Again Harry, Don't be so sure.. Anything can happen in this world" Y/n said trying to make Harry think Snape might be innocent
"She's right, Professor Snape is a Hogwarts's teacher" Hagrid said
"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a spell when I see on, I've read all about them. You've got to keep an eye contact And Sna-.." Hermione stop when Y/n looked at her
"Professor Snape wasn't blinking." Hermione said
"Exactly" Harry said
"But Hermione, you said he wasn't blinking, don't you think that He could be doing a counter-curse??" Y/n said confidently but when looking at their faces she quickly said
"What I mean is, What if someone was hiding in the stalls, trying to be-witched our Brooms... there is a possibility" Y/n said quickly
"W-well.. that does sound like it could be possible" Ron said
"I've never thought about it like that, Now that I think.. he could be saying a counter-curse" Hermione said understanding the situation
"Now, listen to me, all Four of you....You're meddling into things that ought not be meddled in. It's dangerous... What that dog is guarding is between Dumbledor and Nicholas Flamel." Hagrid said
'Great way to tell Hagrid' Y/n thought
"Nicholas Flamel?" Harry asked
"I shouldn't have said that, I should not have said that" Hagrid said and walked away
"Nicholas Flamel, Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Harry asked others
"I don't know" Hermione signed
"Sounds familiar" Y/n Said
Time skip - Y/n's POV
Christmas holiday was started. Mostly everyone was going back. except Harry. since Ron's parents were going to visit Charlie, all the Weasleys were staying at Hogwarts. Jake and I didn't knew if we were going back or not.
I was now sitting in the common room looking at the fire that kept the whole room warm. Ron and Harry were in their dorm. Hermione was packing her belongings. It was quiet, but the silence felt good.I could remember the times I spent Holidays in my world. Every Christmas, Wendy and I used to give free food and clothes to homeless people on her cafe she owns. I did a part-time job their on weekends.
'It was really fun to be with her... Wendy...I hope you are doing great' I thought and ate the chocolate Weasley twins gave me. Oh yeah.. I have bonded with them. since they are Jake's best friends, we all get along really well. and surprisingly, Percy Weasley has been good to me too. Jake says that it is because of the image of Kims.
And then I heard someone coming down. It was Jake, he hurried and took seat next to me
"Is something wrong?" I asked him
"No... Remember when I said that Uncle will tell us whether we should come for holidays or not?" he asked me and I nodded my head
"well... Uncle Eric is going to France for some business, That's why we have to stay here" He said excitedly
"why are you excited??" I chuckled
"Fred and George are gonna stay here.. and I've always wanting to be stay at Hogwarts for Christmas." He smiled and leaned back on the couch
"What about Potter??" He asked me
"He is staying too.. He was really Happy when he found out that Ron was staying. I wonder how he will react when he knows that I'm staying as well........The muggle family he lives with are horrible" I shook my head
"Did he tell you?????" He asked, I shook my head "Then How do you--- " He was asking but I interrupted him with a look.
"Oh right... I keep forgetting that" He chuckled "Are they really that bad?" He asked taking a piece of my chocolate
"Yes... But at some point.. they have reasons to be like that... but I doubt that it explains that it is okay to bully Harry for the reason he has no connection with" I said to him
"Exactly..but.. Everyone has reasons to be bad..."Jake said eating the chocolate
"I guess" I said taking a bite myself
Just then, Harry and Ron came downstairs. with a chess board in Ron's hand
"Hey Y/n.. we are going to great hall... would you like to come with us???" Ron asked me
"Will you... come with us???" Harry asked me again
"Um... of course... why not.." I stood up
"You don't have to ask twice" I chuckled and straighten my dress
"I'll join you too.." Jake also stood up and we all went there.
In Great hall, Professor Flitwick was decorating the hall. I went to him
"Is there anything I can do.. Professor??" I asked him
"No need dear... We will everything on our own" He smiled at him
"There must be something we can do" I heard Jake coming towards us
"Well.. if you want then ...help me decorate that tree" He pointed a tree that Hagrid was bringing
"Hi, Hagrid" I smiled at him
"Hello.. Y/n" He greeted me smiling
Jake and I helped Professor to decorate the big tree.
"All done... thank you dears.. you two can go now" He smiled and walked away
"If you are done doing social work.." "Can we go and prank people now?" We heard from our back. we turned and saw the twins approaching us.
"So.. Y/n... can you give us some idea?" Fred asked me
"What??? no.. We'll get her into trouble.. I won't want that" Jake said to them
"Jake dear.. we know you love your sister" George said
"But we need her mind" They said unison
"So.. tell us.. do you have any ideas???" George asked me
"Um... can you... do something to Mrs. Norris??" I whispered her name
"Oh my" Fred said
"Unbelievable" George said
"that is bloody brilliant" They said in Unison
"Let's go get the work done" They said and and dragged Jake with them. I chuckled and went to the boys. I took seat next to Harry. They were playing wizard chess. I did quick scan of the game.
"I'm so sorry Harry but, you are gonna lose Horribly" I gasped "you do play really great Ron" I said and Ron smirked proudly
"I will make him lose" Harry said getting focused
After a ten minutes. Harry was still losing badly. I saw Hermione approaching so I waved at her and she waved back
"Knight to e5" Harry said and the knight followed his orders. Hermione came and I gave her a sign to look at the game.
"Queen to e5" Ron said smirking and the piece slammed Harry's knight in pieces
"That's totally barbaric" Hermione gasped
"That's wizard's chess.. I see you've packed" Ron said looking at her trunk
"I see you two haven't" She replied
"Change of plans.. My parents decided to go Romania to visit my brother Charlie...He's studying dragons there" Ron said
"and you???" She asked me
"Jake and I decided to stay as well" I said. Ron and Harry smiled
"Really?" Harry asked smiling
"yes..." I smiled back
"Good ..You two can help Harry then" She said smiling
"He's gonna go to the library to look information of Nicholas Flamel" She said
"We've looked a hundred times" Ron said looking at Harry and Hermione leaned on the table
"Not in the restricted section...Happy Christmas" she smirked and walked away
"I think we've had a bad influence on her" Ron said and I chuckled
Time skip
Not many students stayed for holidays. Only the Weasleys, Kims and Potter stayed in Gryffindor. Since no female Gryffindor was left, I asked Professor McGonagall if I could stay at Boy's Dormitories with Harry and Ron, just for holidays and she agreed thinking it might be safe for me since I was alone.
Ron and Harry were shocked and happy at the same time. Jake disapproved instantly but Fred and George convinced him at last. Percy was angry that I was going to sleep in boy's dorm, but he didn't say anything because I took permission of House head. and while dinner, Jake told me that Uncle Eric approved as well, 'It is more safer to stay with male friends than being alone' he said.
At boy's dorm, When I entered with Haru. I saw that Harry and Ron were cleaning the room.
"Why are you cleaning??" I asked them
"we thought that since you are a girl, you might find our dorm uncomfortable.. so we cleaned everything we could to make it look girl's dorm.. so you feel comfort" Ron said with red ears and I chuckled
"Thank you so much... but you didn't have to do that.. The dorms are pretty same" I said
"Which bed should I take?" I looked around
"Um.. You can sleep on my bed... I'll sleep at Neville's.. I've asked him for permission" Harry said with red cheeks
"Are you two okay??? you are really red" I asked them looking back and forth between them.
I knew why they were red... but I decided to play dumb because I am still a 10 year old girl.
"You don't need to think" Harry said taking Haru's cage
"We've never been any better" Ron said pushing me to Harry's bed
Next morning, I woke up early because of the habit I got in my world during Christmas Work. I went to girls bathroom, when I came back from there, Ron was already up
"Happy Christmas Ron" I said smiling
"Happy Christmas to you too.." Ron smiled back
"Did Harry get up as well?" I asked walking towards him
"Not yet... but I was going to common room to see if we have presents.. will you come with me?" Ron asked me
"Yeah, sure.. I see why not" I said and we walked downstairs. When we did.. the common room was full with gifts.
"I think you should wake up Harry" I said while taking a quick scan at the presents and instead of going.. Ron just
"Harry, Wake up!!! Come on Harry!!" He yelled and quickly wore the sweater Mrs. Weasley made him. Harry came running and we saw him from the balcony
"Happy Christmas, Harry!!!" Ron and I said in unison
"Happy Christmas Y/n, Ron" Harry smiled
"What are you wearing, Ron?" He asked him
"Oh.. mum made it.. looks like you got one too" Ron said looking at presents
"I've got presents??" Harry asked half shocked half excited
"Yeah" "of course you do" Ron and I said in Unison and Harry ran to us
"There they are" Ron showed
Harry took the first gift under his name.Ron passed me Bertie Botts every flavored beans, I took a risk and ate one. It was Mint chocolate. I smiled and Harry opened the letter and read it out loud
"Your father left this my possession before he died. It is time that it was returned to you... Use it well"Â He read and looked at us. Ron and I just shrugged
Harry putted the letter away and opened the package
'This is going to be fun' I thought and smirked slightly
What it is?" Ron asked when Harry opened his present
"Some kind of cloak" Harry said confusedly
"well, lets see then.. put it on" Ron said and Harry wore the cloak. when he did.. his body disappeared. I chuckled amazed and Ron gasped
"My body's gone!!" Harry said excitedly
"I know what that is.....That's a invisibility cloak!!" Ron said
"I'm Invisible???" Harry asked turning round to see
"Yes.. you are" I chuckled
"They're really rare......I wonder who gave it to you" Ron said walking towards him and taking his letter
"There was no name.. It just said...'Use it well'.." Harry said
"I think we might find that out soon...... Can I open my presents??" I smiled sheepishly
"Why are you asking????" Harry chuckled taking the cloak off his body
"That big pile is yours" Ron showed
"Big pile??????" I asked him and he nodded his head
'How many gifts did I received??' I thought and turned around.. trust me.. I didn't regret it.
The tree with Kim written in its pot was full of presents around it.
"I believe that mostly everyone bought you presents... maybe because it is your first Christmas since your arrival." Ron said and my blood ran cold
"like they are sending her greeting??" Harry asked Ron and he nodded
"R-Ron.... H-how do you know about m-my arrival??" I asked trying not to sound shock
"Everybody knows it..... Your identity was hidden for years!!" Ron said and I signed in relief
"Oh right!!! I keep forgetting that" I chuckled nervously and walked to my presents
'Crap.. I thought that he was talking about my real arrival' I thought and sat down to open my presents.
Most of my presents were gifted by people or families I didn't knew a word about.. they were different kind of chocolates, cookies or cake which I shared with Harry and Ron right away. After a while Jake and others came. and when Jake saw me he ran and hugged me tight
"Happy Christmas Honey.." He said squeezing me
"Happy Christmas Jake" I said and let him go
"hope your first Christmas here goes well" He whispered and walked away
"So.. who got the sweet shop???" Fred asked
"I did.... they are greetings from people.... Should I write them back???" I asked them
"No..... You can't.. We don't do that.... family things" Jake said taking a chocolate chip cookie box. I shrugged and went back to open the presents that were left. and after few more sweet boxes. I finally started opening the presents from the people I knew. I first presents I opened was from Mrs. Weasley.
" Violet??? Ron how does your mom--?? " I asked
"Oh.. Mom asked me your favorite color.. I saw your hair-clip and wand.. so I thought it was favorite color.. is it not???" Ron asked me concernedly
"No... I like it... thank you very much" I said taking a glance Jake who was trying to stop his laughter. the next present was from Uncle Eric. It was a book?
'I have seen this somewhere' I thought crossing my eyebrows..'wait...this is from my world..is it same here????' I thought went back to open gifts. It was Ron's.. he gave me 5 golden cards of Chocolate frogs.
"Thanks Ron!!!" I smiled at him and he smiled back proudly for his choice. I took a look at the cards. It was Dumbledor, Merlin and 2 other Wizards I didn't knew clearly but the last one made my eyes go huge...
'Ryan..... Kim????' I thought and looked at Jake. he looked at me concernedly
"It says... Ryan.. Kim?" I mouthed showing the card
"Triple Great Grandfather.. first Kim" he mouthed back and I nodded
This was the first time I've seen him somewhere else except the family book. Next gift was from Jake.. he gave me a bracelet
It was made Silver and Amethyst stone.. I looked up and he looking at the gift then me. I smiled and wore it right away.
next was from Hermione. She gave me a quill set...
'aww... She's so thoughtful' I smiled and took the last present... it was a small wooden box with Harry's name on top. I opened it and gasped instantly
"Stones????? Harry.. How did you--know??" I asked struggling to stop smiling
"Oh.. I heard you and Hermione talk about you liking stones.. so.. I tried to find them here.. but I couldn't.. so I asked Hagrid to get it... Do you like it?" He asked licking his lips
"Like???? Harry I love it!!!!!" I said loudly.
After few minutes, all of us were done opening the presents. I gifted Ron Posters of his favorite Quidditch team 'The Chudley Canons'. I gave Harry a Broomstick cleaning set and Hermione her initials key-chain. I was surprised that Jake liked his present. I gave him a Blue Dragon Brooch.
I saw that Brooch in Diagon Alley and I brought the same day. It reminded me about him.
Time skip after dinner.
3rd person's POV
After Dinner, Every one back to their dormitories. But Harry was widely awake, He wanted to find who Nicholas Flamel was. He waited for everyone to sleep. he thought that it was best time to use the Invisibility cloak. At midnight, he got up from the bed he was sleeping in. he was almost out when he heard
"Are you really planning to go alone??" Harry heard and then he slowly turned back. It was Y/n
"What?? I thought you were sleeping" Harry whispered to her and walked to him
"I knew you were thinking to sneak out and look for Nicholas Flamel using your Invisibility cloak" Y/n whisper-yelled at him
"But---" Harry begun but Y/n interrupted him
"No buts... I'm going with you... don't ever think that I'll let you wander off all alone" She whispered and dragged him.
At Library, they were slowly walking towards Restricted section. Harry was holding the lamp and Y/n was leading, since she knew the library more than Harry. When they reached, Harry started reading the book titles in whisper form
"Famous Fire eaters, Fifteen century fiends, Flamel, Nicholas Flamel, where are you?" He asked himself. but then he took the cloak off both of them and looked at the shelf that was locked, ignoring Y/n who was vigorously looking all around her.
He putted the lamp on the table near him and took out a book
"No... not that one" Y/n whisper-yelled and that book started screaming loudly. Harry closed the book quickly and kept it back on its place
"Who's there?" They heard and Harry grabbed Y/n and the cloak knocking the lamp, breaking it.
"I know you in there.. You can't hide" They heard and saw a lamp's light ,Y/n snatched the cloak and hovered it above them. And that's when Flich came in their sight
"Who is it? Show yourself" he asked angrily. Harry grabbed Y/n hand and they slowly tip-toed away from Flich. He was slowly waking to find someone. They walked out of the Library and saw Mrs. Norris staring them
'This damn cat' Y/n grunted in her thoughts
Harry and Y/n walked backwards, while the cat followed them
"Harry, let me kick this cat away" Y/n whispered and harry shook his head. they walked little fast but then they almost bumped into 2 people
"Severus, I" they heard Quirrell whimpering
"You don't want me as your enemy Quirrell" Snape said grabbing Quirrell's collar
Harry took Y/n's hand once again and was leading them away
"I don't know what you mean." Quirrell said
"You perfectly well what I mean' Snape said and looked back like he could sense someone behind him. Y/n quickly covered Harry's mouth and Snape moved his hand forward like he was trying to grab something. Harry quickly stepped away dragging Y/n with him.
"We'll have another little chat soon......When you've had time to decide where your loyalities lies" Snape said strictly an then Flich approached them.
"Professors..I found this in the restricted section....Its still hot..that means there's a student out of bed" Flich smirked creepily and Snape quickly ran away to see with others following him.
'Was he trying to help us by running away??' Y/n thought while Harry dragged her in the nearest room. When they entered Harry took the cloak off them and noticed a giant mirror in the room.
"Y/n look" He whispered and started walking towards it with Y/n following him. He stood right in front of it while Y/n stepped aside from the mirror letting Harry have his moment. He tried to read what was written on top of the mirror ,but he couldn't. He stepped forward staring at his reflection and then He could a couple in the mirror, They were smiling at him. He looked back to check if they were behind him, but they weren't. He unknowingly felt a warm in his heart and whispered
"Mum?" the lady smiled and nodded. Harry looked at the man "Dad?" That man smiled too. Y/n kept her head low smiling.
"Y/n... I can see my parents.." Harry whispered to her touching the reflection of his mom.
"Really.... I believe your mom is really pretty" Y/n said looking at mirror
"She is......was" Harry whispered withdrawing his hand and he saw that his mom putted her hand on his shoulder. Harry touched his shoulder but he couldn't feel anything but he smiled back at them
"Sadly.... I can't see them" Y/n said signing
"What are you talking about??? They are right here.." Harry said pointing at the mirror.
"Harry....... I know what kind of mirror is this... " Y/n said with sad face
"Don't say anything. just look you'll see them.. here.. come stand here" Harry dragged Y/n by her hand
"It won't work Harry" She replied trying to withdraw
but Harry ignored her and made her stood in front of mirror. Y/n kept her eyes closed like she didn't want to look at the mirror.
"Y/n trust me... and open your eyes..you'll see them" Harry convinced her
Y/n took a deep breath and opened her eyes.
