The feeling of being sucked from ground and light burning around the body because of green flames was troublesome for both Harry and Y/n. they both landed on a floor with a huge noise. They both stood up groaning.
The place they were in was dim-lit . It was full of weird things. Skulls and bones in jars. Big, black boxes around. Harry walked around the shop observing everything, While Y/n fixed her hair and dress. After doing that she pulled a piece of black cloth from her pocket.
She opened the cloth and slightly touched her face with it. And with a tap her face was clean as new. she dusted the soot of her dress once again and went to Harry who was confirmed that this wasn't the Diagon Alley.
"What place is this?" Harry asked to himself
"Knockturn Alley" Y/n replied and Harry immediately looked at her
"How do you know???" Harry asked surprised
'Damn it...I spoke too soon' Y/n mentally slapped herself
"Uh....I have...heard of this place....So I just..guessed" she replied walking towards Harry. She wiped his nose and with a slight tap his face was clean. He looked at his reflection and was surprised to see that his face had no dust
"What is that???" Harry asked Y/n when she was folding it
"This..." She showed him the cloth "is a Witch's Handkerchief....It is kind of like a magical beauty product..to clean the face and all" she smiled sheepishly in the end. Harry nodded in reply
'Thank you Debbie..I'll make you loads of cookies for this' Y/n made a mental note
"We need to get out here" Y/n said looking out but Harry wasn't listening.
He walked towards fire place and examined a cushion with a wrinkled hand on it,In the corner of the cushion, there was a paper that said 'Hand Of Glory'. Y/n didn't hear his reply so she looked at him
"Wait, Harry Don't!!!!" She tried to stop him but he already grabbed the hand. Y/n ran to him and tried to grip out his hand. She was so concentrated that she didn't notice a silver-blond boy outside
"Malfoy" Harry whispered and at the same time Y/n successfully pulled Harry's hand out.
"Why were you grabbing it??? It is a ring-holder---" Y/n was interrupted when Harry closed her mouth
"Its Malfoy outside" Harry whispered to her
'Why is he here...wait this happened in the book!!!' Y/n thought and saw that Draco was about to enter. She was thinking what she should do. but there were so many suggestions to do something, she was confused but Harry saw something that could hide them.He dragged Y/n into a small cupboard which was little small for both of them.
"What are you doing?" Y/n whispered
"Hiding us..Malfoy's coming here " Harry whispered back peeking outside the hole of the cupboard
"But...Its..hard to fit" Y/n said in a really low voice barely enough for Harry, but he did hear her.
He noticed that Y/n and himself were squished inside the cupboard,leaning close against each other. Because of his height, Y/n's forehead was in right front his lips. He went red and he glanced at Y/n noticing a light pink tinge of her cheek which made him blush more. Their awkward moment was interrupted when they heard the bell tingle. both of them peeked outside and saw Draco entering.
He was about to touch a small statue but a stick interrupted him. "Don't touch anything, Draco" A man with long silver-blond hair said strictly to Draco
"Yes, father" Draco replied slightly scared.
'So..that is him??? He looks just like Draco' Y/n thought when they saw Mr. Malfoy enter.
"Mr. Malfoy!!" Someone came from inside. which Y/n thought was shop-owner
"What a pleasure to see you again....and young master Malfoy too.. for a light field.." He smiled at Draco slightly creepily which Y/n swore made Draco was uncomfortable. The owner turned to Mr. Malfoy
"I must show it just came today---" He was interrupted to Mr. Malfoy himself
"I'm not buying today,Morgan.. I'm selling.....Draco" He called for his son, he came with a box in his hands. Draco placed it on the counter and walked back to observe the shop
"You are aware, no doubt....that the Ministry of Magic is conducting more raids on private houses..there's even rumors of new Muggle Protection Act" Mr. Malfoy said coldly
'So..Mr. Weasley got approval.. I'll tell him to double check Malfoy's house' Y/n smirked to herself which Harry could feel but chose to ignore
"Your wizard blood faces this kind of problems everywhere, I'm afraid" owner said
"Not with me" Mr. Malfoy replied glaring "anyway..I've brought few items for you from home that might be embarrassing me at Ministry of Magic" Mr. Malfoy said glancing at Draco
The Owner was looking at everything in the box. He suddenly widen his eyes
"Look at That!!" He gasped
"That..particular item......not for sale" Mr. Malfoy said
"I understand..it has unique qualities..one wouldn't want to see it" He continued but Y/n and Harry couldn't hear because Draco was examining the cupboard they were in. both of them held their breathes. Draco was about to open the door but a stick interrupted him which made Y/n flinch a little
"What did I say?" Mr. Malfoy asked strictly
"touch nothing" Draco replied
"Exactly" He glared at his son
"Sorry Father" Draco replied with scared tone
'Hey!! Draco doesn't deserve that....He's your son' Y/n thought getting little angry
"Okay...we're going" Mr. Malfoy instructed Draco
"It was a pleasure to do business with you Mr. Malfoy.. Always a pleasure" The owner bowed and The Malfoys left the shop. When The owner went back inside. Harry and Y/n waited for few minutes to see if he was coming back or not
"Its clear...let's go" Y/n opened the door and went outside with Harry. They were almost out until a hand stopped them right on the doorstep.
"Looking for something?" The owner glared both of them
"We're just at a wrong place..." Y/n said out loud. The owner looked at her face and it seemed he recognized her. He let go both of them
"You were never here...." The owner said walking back inside
'Was he trying to hide the fact we are here....why?' Y/n thought and Harry placed his hand behind Y/n
"Let's go...Everyone must be worried" he told and she nodded
When they came out, Harry was confirmed that this place was not Diagon Alley. It was dark, and people there were staring at them strangely. A women passed them smiling creepily to them. Harry and stepped back but were grabbed by someone. Harry quickly stood in front of Y/n,protecting her.
"Not lost, are you, my dears?" A scary-looking women asked them
"We're fine, thank you..We were just going" Harry grabbed Y/n's hand and tried to get away but more people started crowding around them. Harry grabbed Y/n's hand tightly, messaging her that they might need to run
"Come with us...We'll help you find your way" The women said smiling creepily
"No, You won't" "No, Please" Harry and Y/n were trying to get away but the people kept coming close to them
"HARRY, Y/N!!!!" They heard a huge man call them making people flinch around them
"Hagrid!!" Harry and Y/n said together feeling relieved
"What do you two think you're doing down there? Come On!" Hagrid called them and they quickly ran away from the crowd around. When they reached Hagrid, Y/n turned to the crowd and bowed her head. And walked away with Hagrid
"You two are a mess...Skulking around Knockturn Alley, Dodgy place" Hagrid told them
"So it was Knockturn Alley" Y/n confirmed
"Yes..Don't want no one to see you there..People will think you are up to no good" Hagrid said
"We were Lost.....we-- hang on..What were you doing down there then?" Harry suddenly asked
"Me? I was....I was looking for Flesh-eating slug repellent..they're ruining all the school cabbages" Hagrid told and they nodded understandingly
'So...it began??' Y/n thought to herself
While they were walking in Diagon Alley, Harry noticed that many people were bowing their heads to Y/n while she bowed back smiling, He decided to ask
"Uh..Y/n" He said and Y/n looked at him "Um..why are...people..bowing to you?" Harry asked her which surprised her a little
"Oh!!....that's..uh" Y/n could find right words to explain him
"That's because" Hagrid said taking their attention helping Y/n
"Her family, The Kims are the first ever Asian Wizard family....Most powerful Family if you ask me" Hagrid winked at Y/n, she giggled
"So powerful..that many consider them as royals..that's why they are bowing to her...everyone knows she is the First Female Kim" Hagrid explained Harry
"And bowing your head means greeting 'hello' with respect in Asian manners.." Y/n told Harry
"So...you're pretty much.... like a Princess" Harry said grinning
"No...I won't say that" Y/n chuckled
"Is that why Percy was so polite with you?" Harry asked finally realizing it
"yes.. I think that's the reason why he---" Y/n was interrupted when someone hugged her really tight. Y/n recognized the person right away and hugged back
"I missed you so much, Hermione!!!" Y/n said smiling
"I miss you too" Hermione smiled back Happily and turn to others. She had gotten taller than last year but still was an inch shorter then Y/n.
"Hey Harry, Hagrid" She smiled at them
"Hello, Hermione" Hagrid greeted
"Its so good to see you!" she said to Harry smiling
"It great to see you too" Harry smiled
"So...where have you been---" Y/n was again interrupted by someone hugging her, this time it was a man
"I was worried about you!!!" The man hugged Y/n tightly, he was sitting with one knee down. Harry felt little furious when he saw Y/n hugging the man back
"You didn't had to worry..I would've had come back anyway" Y/n chuckled
"I didn't had to worry??.. It was you honey..of course I had to worry" the man caressed Y/n's cheek and stood up
"Great to see you again, Hagrid" the man stood confidently smiling at Hagrid
"Always a pleasure to see you, Eric" Hagrid smiled back and Harry looked at y/n with a look that said 'who is this man?'. Y/n understood and said
" Harry...This is Eric Kim...my uncle...Uncle....This is Harry Potter" Y/n introduced both of them
"Oh....it's a pleasure to finally see you, Mr. Potter" Eric held out his hand, Harry shook it
"Nice to meet you too, Sir" Harry replied somewhat relieved
'He is her Uncle.....she never mentioned him' Harry thought
"What happened to your glasses??" Eric asked and pulled out his wand. He tapped Harry's glasses and the broken lenses fixed by itself.
"You'll be alright then, Harry, Y/n???Right.. I'll leave you to it....hope to see you soon, Eric" Hagrid walked away all them greeted 'bye' to him. Y/n noticed that Hermione was quiet all this time, she looked at her to find Hermione glancing at Eric shyly. Y/n decided to introduce her
"Oh..um..Uncle...This is Hermione Granger...my only female best friend" Y/n introduced making Hermione flinch at sudden introduction
"Oh...its nice to see you, dear...I was about to get worried if all of Y/n's friends were boys" Eric chuckled and patted Hermione head making her face go scarlet
"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Kim" Hermione managed to say without stuttering
"let's go...everyone's looking for you two..why were you anyway?" Eric asked Y/n while walking with them
"Knockturn Alley" Y/n grinned and Eric looked little offended
"Ugh..out of any place..you had to be there...did anyone recognized you?" Eric asked her niece
"I think the owner of the shop where we dropped..did..I'm not sure...He looked at me for a while and he let us go" Y/n looked at Harry, he nodded his head to Eric.
Eric looked little bothered but didn't say anything. Y/n felt someone tapping her hands, She looked to her left, it was Hermione
"Is he really your Uncle?" Hermione whispered
"He is" Y/n replied whispering
"Is he elder or younger?"
"elder"
"Huh??...is he married?"
"No"
"How??? he is so..so" Hermione blushed
"Handsome, right???" Y/n smirked and Hermione nodded
"What are you girls whispering about?" Eric asked them confusedly
"nothing" Both girl said together
when they reached Flourish and Blotts, they saw Jake outside when he saw them, he came running towards them
"Where were you?" Jake asked Y/n
"Knockturn Alley" Y/n smirked
"what???I thought we promised to go there together!!!" Jake said in disappointed tone
"WHAT???" Eric asked surprised
"Oh look at you" Y/n whispered and pulled out the black cloth again and tapped Jake's face making his face clean
"You two have been planing something like this???We need to have a serious talk later kids--" Eric was interrupted
"Let's go..Mrs. Weasley has been really worried" Jake dragged Y/n, Hermione and Harry with him.
There was a huge line inside the shop. All of them were middle-aged females. The ladies stared at Eric when he followed the kids and Y/n noticed it
'So..I'm not the only one who thinks he's handsome' Y/n thought and saw Mrs. Weasley in the front of line
"Oh, Harry! Y/n!! Thank goodness..We'd hoped you both would've gone only one grate too far" Mrs. Weasley said wiping the soot out of Harry's cloths. While Y/n cleaned Ron's face which got him surprised, he was about to ask about it
"Its a Witch's Handkerchief..don't ask further questions" Y/n said putting her cloth back in her pocket. Jake and Eric were behind Y/n,glaring at unfamiliar men who were glancing at her.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart" Someone said and Ginny gasped
"here he is" Mrs. Weasley whispered fixing her hair
A man with light blue robes came out wearing a huge grin. Everyone clapped for him except few people
"Mum fancies him" Ron said to Harry and Y/n making Mrs. Weasley slap his shoulder
"Make way there, please, let me by, madam, thank you...excuse me little girl, this is for Daily Prophet" A man said a there was flash of light. Lockhart glanced at crowd and particularly stopped his gaze somewhere or perhaps on someone
"Its can't be, Harry Potter and Y/n Kim" Lockhart smiled and everyone glanced at both of them
'wait what?' Y/n thought
"Harry Potter and Y/n Kim!!!!" The photographer grabbed them
"Hey!!" Eric said little furious when he saw that man dragging Y/n to Lockhart.
Lockhart grabbed both of the kids by their shoulder pulling the close to each of his side
"Nice big smile, Harry and Ms.Kim..together you two and I rate the front page" Lockhart said to them.
Y/n looked at the crowd and saw Ron completely confused by the situation, Hermione looking proud, Eric looked like he would murder Lockhart any second for touching Y/n and finally Jake who was fighting himself, trying really hard not to laugh, that made Y/n smile a little and then there a great flash that made her almost blind. and she realized what she did.
She smiled at Camera. She glared Jake with a deadly stare
"Ladies and Gentlemen, what an extraordinary moment is this...When young Harry and Dear Ms.Kim..stepped into Flourish and Blotts this morning to purchase my autobiography, Magical Me..uh" He smiled in the end and ladies cheered for him
"which, incidentally, is currently celebrating its 27th week atop the Daily Prophet seller-list" He said and everyone clapped for him
"They had no idea that they would, in fact, be leaving...with my entire collected works" He placed two big set of books in both of Harry'sand Y/n's hand "free of charge" He completed and there was another flash.
"Okay...you need to stop using that" Y/n said furiously to the cameraman. Lockhart let Harry go by pushing him away slightly but didn't let Y/n go
"Its great to meet you dear Ms. Kim....I feel honored that you came to sign up of my book.. I can feel the nobility by only knowing that you are a fan of my books "Lockhart smiled at Y/n, grabbing her free hand and was about to kiss it but
"She simply is here to get her school books for Hogwarts....Don't flatter yourself for nothing, Lockhart" Eric said walking towards them. The crowd watched him approach Lockhart
"Now..I would really like if you let go of my niece's hand.." Eric said threateningly throwing daggers at Lockhart.
Lockhart immediately let Y/n wrist go. and tried to stand confidently in front of well-known man.
"Its a pleasure to see you here...Mr. Kim" Lockhart pulled out his hand for handshake but Eric took the books from Y/n and gave it back to Lockhart. Jake, Ron, Percy, Fred and George stiffed their laugh. Harry was confused
"No need to return these...take it as a gift I gave to Ms. Kim" Lockhart said trying his best to smile even if felt embarrassed.
"Thank you for that but....We'll buy our own..We've got a lot of money..have waste it somehow right" Eric smirked and dragged Y/n from him. The boys burst into laughter making Hermione and Mrs. Weasley mad.
"You didn't have to do that" Y/n chuckled
"I had to..I doubt he ever did the things he claimed he did" Eric replied smiling handsomely "Now you go wait outside with others..I'll get your books, okay?" he asked and gave Y/n a peck on her forehead. Y/n went to Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Your Uncle is definitely the best wizard I've seen" Ron laughed
"Let's get out of here...the crowd is getting big" Hermione said and all agreed. Four of them fought their way back out alongside with Jake and young Weasleys. they almost out until
"I'll bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter?" Malfoy spat standing in front of Harry
"Famous Harry Potter, can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page" Draco said annoyed
"If you want that..I'll be really happy to change my place with you" Y/n replied savagely making Jake smirk. Draco just stared at her quietly like he didn't want to reply her
"Leave him alone" Ginny glared at Draco. it was the first time she spoke in front of Harry
"Look, Potter..You've got yourself a girlfriend" Draco smirked and Y/n was fighting herself to hide her smile. A stick dropped on Draco's shoulder
"Now,now, Draco, play nicely" The man Harry and Y/n saw earlier with Draco. his father entered the shop
"Mr. Potter" Mr. Malfoy smirked "Lucius Malfoy..we meet at last." He shook hands with Harry and dragged him closer
"Forgive me.." He pushed Harry's hairs to his scar "Your scar is legend...As, of course, is the wizard who gave it you" Lucius smirked
"Voldemort killed my parents" Harry replied "He was nothing more than a murderer" Harry stepped back
"your must be very brave to mention his name..or very foolish" Lucius chuckled
"Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself" Hermione spoke up and Lucius looked at her
"And you must be..Miss Granger?" He asked his son. Draco nodded in reply "Yes, Draco has told me all about you..and your parents" He looked at her parents "Muggles..aren't they?" He asked Hermione like it was a disease being a muggle.
"What's wrong being a muggle??" Y/n finally spoke getting everyone's attention "If I'm not wrong...then..The first Malfoy ever.. who became a wizard.....was a muggle-born himself" Y/n smirked and it looked like she pushed the button. Mr. Malfoy just smiled
"Ms. Kim....pleased to meet you....very clever, aren't you??... its a shame that you weren't sorted into Slytherin.... and ended up in Gryffindor" Lucius smirked
"There's no problem being a Gryffindor...." Jake said placing his hand on Y/n's shoulder "We took the place after our father" Jake said with hint of sarcasm
"You must be Jake... I'll have yo say..It would more honorable if both of you were sorted into Slytherin...after your Uncle" Lucius said looking at Eric who was listing the books to buy. the siblings were out of words and Lucius turned to see others
"Let me see...Red hair, vacant expressions, tatty second-hand book" He said grabbing Ginny book "You must be the Weasleys" He said Mr. Weasley arrived there
"Children...Its mad in here. let's go outside" He told the kids
"Well, well, well....Weasley Senior"
"Lucius"
"Bust time at the ministry, Arthur? all those extra raids?????I do hope they're paying you overtime..by judging by the state of this, I'd say not.." Lucius said looking at Ginny's second hand book
"What's the use in being a disgrace to the name of wizard..if they don't even pay you well for it" He snickered
"We have a very different idea about what disgraces the name of the wizard, Malfoy" Mr. Weasley replied
"Clearly.....Associating with Muggles" Lucius stepped forward dropping the book back to Ginny's cauldron. with another book.. Harry tapped Y/n's hand to see this, they both looked at each other
"And I thought your family could sink no lower" Malfoy said and Mr. Weasley glared at him. He turned to smiled at kids showing its okay
"I'll see you at work" Lucius said and glanced at Y/n before leaving and Draco walked in front
"See you at school" Draco glared at Harry and turned to Y/n with a sharp look and left
"Don't think about it for a second Mr. Weasley" Y/n said to him
"Sure, dear" Mr. Weasley smiled patting her head
'I hope rest of the day goes well' Y/n thought
