Third Person POV

After Ryder's friend, Flynn, called her, Sia's been in a panic. 'What happened to him?' 'How could he get hurt?' 'Was this because of me?' A million questions such as these were swirling in her head, awaiting an answer that she couldn't seem to provide.

She just held on to the silent prayer, her heart was chanting... 'I hope he's okay'.

After hanging up on Flynn, immediately, Sia called Hannah. After managing to get out some jumbled words of Ryder being hurt and in hospital, Hannah told Sia that she would be there in a second, so both of them could go.

The drive to the hospital was panic-stricken. It was pouring down with rain and Hannah was bombarding Sia with questions about Ryder, but again, she had no answers. She just looked out the window, at the onslaught of rain and  prayed in silence that he would be okay. The shock of what was happening, kept her from shedding any tears. Sia didn't even want to cry. Crying meant something bad had happened, and she refused even an ounce of negative thoughts to cloud her mind. She had to hold on to hope.

Soon as the girls got to the hospital, they ran towards the reception desk, as if it were some sort of finishing line, and they would receive a gold medal. Not caring they were drenches from head to toe.

"Hi, hello, excuse me" Sia said, her voice frantic with worry.

The receptionist looks up and sees two girls in front of her, who seemed like they had just taken a dip in a pool, fully clothed, before coming here.

She just knew, they were causing a puddle in front of her desk. In an unimpressed voice she replies with "Yes?"

As soon as the last syllable of the receptionists' reply comes out, Sia spoke up, "I'm looking for Ryder Daniels, he was brought in here, I don't know when but.." She began to ramble.

The receptions quirks a brow at the soaked girl in front of her. She knew very well, which room Ryder Daniels was in.

Not wanting to hear more of the girl's ramble, she replies in a monotone voice, "Room 204," and goes back to what she was doing.

"Thank you," Sia breathed out, before her and Hannah, rush to find the room.

"204, 204, I don't see a 204," Hannah says frustrated. They hadn't asked for directions to room, and now were looking for it in a frenzy. Tired of getting nowhere in their search,

Hannah turned to Sia. "You go that way," pointing at one end of the corridor, "-and I'll look this way," she pointed to the other end.

Sia sprints off down the corridor, searching for 204. She felt so stupid for not asking directions for the room.

'Ryder could be hurt or in pain, and instead of being with him, she was stuck looking for the damn room' she thought to herself.

Before she could scold herself some more, she finally spotted the number that gave her heart some relief.

"Found it, 204!" She exclaimed, partly for Hannah to hear, and also out of happiness, that she had finally found the room.

Rushing into the room, without knocking she just shouted. "Ryder!?"

However what she found on the other side of the door was completely different than what she had expected.

Ryder was in the room, however, there was no sign of him being hurt. Not even a scratch. He was sitting up on the bed, dressed in his own clothed, with his friends in the seats beside him.

They made it seem as if this wasn't a hospital room, but just one of their hang-outs. There were no machines hooked up to him, or any sign of an actual patient being in this room.

Sia was relieved that he was okay, but that soon washed over, as she realised that this was all fake. The phone call, Ryder being hurt, it was all a ploy, to get her here. Sia was both hurt and angry.

However, Ryder was a different case.

Seeing the girl standing in the doorway, he was almost speechless. The girl he had been talking to for so long, was none other than Sia. The girl he always picked on in school.

'How could this be?' Ryder thought to himself as he looks at her rain-soaked state, hair and clothes now dripping, creating a small puddle.

Ryder never meant to be such as dick to the girl, but from their first meeting, there was just something about her he couldn't put his finger on.

The first time they met, he bumped into her in the hallway, and despite knowing it was his fault and instead of apologising, he told her to watch wear she was going.

And that's when it happened.

She actually told him off in front of everyone. This caused him to feel something unknown. From then on, he always picked on her, not out of spite or any malicious reason, all he wanted was some sort of reaction from her.

Making her mad, just made him smile. It was completely absurd, yes. He knew that. Even his mates would tell him, it was weird. But every time she gave him a reaction, he felt something.

Since he began talking to his Sunshine, he felt that same unknown feeling in himself.

Talking to her made him feel so good, as if an actual burst of sunshine, was radiating in his heart. He knew the voice sounded familiar, he just didn't think it was her. Sia even fit the description Sunshine gave, and he still didn't guess.

Both Sia and Sunshine, gave him that weird, unknown feeling, something Brittany, or no other girl could give him.

Ryder remembered all that he said when he was drunk on the phone, he meant every word. Thinking that was why she stopped talking, at first he thought it was best to act oblivious, in case he scared her off, but then he thought he didn't want to hide away from his feeling anymore.

However when she stopped talking to him, it felt as if someone had actually taken away his Sunshine, leaving him the cold, dark world. He needed her, the warmth she gave and the light she lit up his world with.

Seeing the girl standing at the doorway, drenched in rain, all Ryder could say was "You?" He stood up, just staring at her.

At the same time, Flynn and Brandon who were in the room mutter curse words under their breath in surprise.

Sia watched as Ryder stood up. Her emotions were now all mixed up, hearing his voice, she could no longer think straight. Before she could say anything, she hear's Hannah call out for her.

Hannah rushes in, "S, how is he?" She questioned, before bumping into a shocked Sia in the doorway.

Hannah herself then went into some sort of shock, her eyes widening and mouth agape, at the sight of a fit and fine Ryder, standing in the room.

As she looks back towards her friend, Hannah muttered, "Oh shit." She knew that shit was going to hit the fan soon.

"You're Sunshine?" Ryder asked, ignoring the other girl who seems to have come into the room.

Sia ignored his question, and replied with her own. "What is this?" She asked, her eyes darting between Ryder and his friends.

Her question makes Ryder put on a guilty face, he looks back his mates, who just shrugged at him.

He turned back towards Sia, "Uh, you wouldn't answer my calls or texts, so.." He starts to explain, but then Sia cut him off.

"You lied!?" Sia exclaimed. Her tone both accusing and questioning.

Ryder winced at her tone, before trying to explain. "Technically I didn't.." He started off,

But once again, Sia finished for him, "No, you got your friends to."

Flynn and Brandon, almost squirm under her glare.

Sia then begins to turn to leave, before Ryder calls out for her "Sia, listen.."

He stepped towards her. In an instant, she turns back to him, almost getting whiplash, which caused Ryder to back away.

"No, I don't want to. You lied to me! Tricked me into coming here." Her anger coming into dominance from her emotions.

Ryder steps forward once more, "Because I wanted to see who the girl, I've been talking to for months, actually is." He shouted out, tired of her cutting him off.

This made her scoff, "Okay, so, you've seen me. I'm the girl you've been talking to for months, and the same girl you've made fun of for the last two years." She reminded him as she feeling the prick of tears brimming in her eyes.

Seeing her eyes beginning to look glossy, Ryder was apologetic. Wanting to explain his actions, he started, "Sia look..."

However, Sia didn't let him continue. "No, you look. I told you I was done. Soon as I found out who you were I knew I was done. Was this whole thing just an elaborate prank to get to me? What the hell have I ever done to you to make you hate me so much?"

Her tears now streaming down her face, leaving its warmth on her cold cheeks.

Seeing the tears now spilling from her eyes, Ryder felt a sharp pain in his chest. He remembered his own words 'I'd feel bad if you were hurt' he once said, and he definitely feels more than bad right now.

"I don't hate you," is all he managed to say.

Sia let out a chuckle at this, "No, you just find amusement in my suffering," she said, as she furiously wiped away her tears, despite them continuing to fall.

"Sia, I..." Ryder tried once more, but Sia has questions of her own she wants answered.

"Was all of this a lie? The phone calls, the words?" She asked him.

Ryder shook his head instantly, "No, I didn't lie. Every word I said to you was the truth."

This was the answer her heart wanted, but her mind isn't in the same state.

"Sia, I'm sorry." Ryder said, his eyes sincere and his voice genuine.

"Just leave me alone, Ryder." Sia told him, before running out the room.

Seeing her leave, Ryder shouted out, "Sia, wait!"

Hannah who had just watched this all unfold, offers Ryder a sympathetic look, before running after her friend.

Before Ryder can run out the room, towards Sia, Flynn held him back, "Stop man, let her go."

Ryder just hung his head low dejectedly.
