"Yubel ? "

Oliver called out before heading towards to the front door.

As he reached at the front door, the knocking then suddenly came to a halt.

" Who is it?"

He called out, however there was no reply from the other person who was standing behind the front door.

' They better not prank me'

" Hold on, I'll open the door right now"

Oliver raised one of his eyebrows in annoyance before unlocking the door, while slowly revealing Yubel and Edwin, who were both already waiting behind the door.

" Prince Edwin wanted to pay a visit so I brought him here. Please come inside Your highness! I'll prepare some tea for you!!!!"

Yubel smiled awkwardly as he quickly rushed inside the room before making eye contact with Oliver while mouthing *Sorry*

Oliver smiled half heartedly as he slowly nodded his head as a response before looking towards Edwin

Then Edwin grinned widely before flashing off his pearly white teeth and his iconic dimple, he towered over Oliver who in return, hid behind the door while revealing only his face.

" Y-your highness? What are you doing here?"

" I came to visit my friend"

" I see... and that's supposed to be me right? "

" Yes, are you perhaps not happy to see me Oliver ?"

As soon as he heard that, oliver let out an awkward smile before shaking off both of his hands.

" No, no, I am always happy to see you Your highness"

" Always?"

" Yes...."

" Hmm, then are you not going to invite me in?"

" Oh..."

Oliver took a moment to think before slowly realising the situation that he was currently in.

" How rude of me! Please come inside Your highness"

In an instant, Oliver then quickly opened the door before revealing himself to Edwin.

" Thank you Oliver, and here take this"

Smiling again, Edwin then slowly went inside before shoving a bouquet of flowers towards Oliver's face.

" W-what is this?"

" Red tulips, they looked fresh so I decided to pluck some few from the school garden"

" Are they for me?"

" Yes "

" O-oh thank you so much, but I'm not a really big fan of flowers..."

" So you don't like it?"

" I do! I do! hahaha....however, you didn't had to give me that many "

Now looking back at the flowers, Oliver begin to think how neatly those flowers were arranged, how those fresh red tulips were neatly wrapped inside an exquisite wrapper tied with an elegant purple silk ribbon.

' That ribbon looks quite expensive'

" You didnt had to give me that many......"

He repeated those words again before slowly hugging the flowers while giving out a small smile.

" It's my pleasure Oliver"

Soon

" Here's your cup of tea, please enjoy it with some biscuits as well"

" Oh, thank you Mr Malachi"

Edwin thanked Yubel who was holding a tray filled with tea and biscuits.

" Please call me Yubel, your highness. You don't have to be very formal"

Yubel laughed softly before slowly brewing the tea and serving it to Edwin.

" Thank you Yubel"

Edwin then slowly took a sip from the cup before raising one of his eyebrows.

" Is this from Assam?"

" Ah, yes. It is, my father brought it when he visited India last year"

" As expected, Assam has one of the finest tea leaves. Please send my regards to your father."

" I will definitely do that and thank you, your highness"

" Very well"

Looking at the two people who was talking in front of him, Oliver felt extremely awkward.

' So, is this how all the other nobles actually talk with each other? This is so boring and formal'

" Oliver?"

He snapped out from his trance when he heard Edwin called out his name.

"Y-yes?"

He answered before quickly adjusting himself at his chair. They were all currently sitting inside the living room.

" What are you thinking about?"

" It's nothing, your highn-"

" Call me Edwin"

" My bad"

" I suppose you didn't like my flowers Oliver"

"  Flowers?"

Oliver questioned before looking back at the flowers that was carelessly placed on the coffee table.

" No,no, i really like it Your highness! I'll take some help from Yubel in order to arrange those flowers in my room, he's really good at arranging stuffs and he cleans really well too!"

" Oh Oliver, stop it"

Yubel blushed before slowly hitting Oliver.

" I'm telling the truth though"

Oliver smiled as he took those soft punches from Yubel who was blushing while trying to hide his flushed cheeks.

" So can you please help me Yubel?"

*Sigh*

" Alright"

Looking at the scene in front of him, Edwin smiled sweetly before placing the cup that was on his hands on the table.

" That will be really sweet of Yubel"

Edwin crossed his legs before slowly fixing his tie. He couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle in response as he looked at the two boys .

" However, I think it would be better if you could just keep those flowers in a vase Oliver, you can't just bother Yubel like this, he is a busy man"

" It's alright your highness, I can do it-"

" You are too good Yubel, you don't have to overwork yourself"

" Thank you for the compliment Your highness, but since Oliver had already asked for my help, i can't just ignore it"

Yubel answered before slowly heading towards to the coffee table.

" Then I'll do it for you "

Edwin stood up from the chair as he quickly walked to the coffee table, he walked towards Yubel who was already about to reach his hands towards at the flowers. Then in an instant, he quickly grabbed the flowers before slowly giving a sweet smile at Yubel as he took the flowers away from the table.

" Let me do it, okay?"

" O-okay "

' Bruh '

Oliver mentally face palmed before slowly shaking his head in complete disbelief.

' Why are they creating so much drama for just a mere bouquet of flowers? '

He looked at the scene in front of him, those poor tulips were already getting crushed under the iron hold of the male lead.

' Fine, i will just do it by myself'

" Edwin"

Oliver called out as he stared back at Edwin.

" Yes?"

" You are crushing those flowers, could you please hand them over? I'll put them inside a vase"

" Okay"

Then within a second, Edwin quickly walked towards Oliver before handing him the flowers.

" Treat them with care okay? I'll visit some other day to check the flowers"

" Okay "

" Good "

Now hugging those flowers, Oliver looked back at Edwin and Yubel before giving out a small smile

" You guys keep talking with each other, I will be back soon"

" Where are you going Oliver?"

Yubel asked as he questionably looked back at Oliver

" I'm going back to my room, i need to arrange these flowers as soon as possible before they wither away"

" Flowers wither very quickly if you don't give them enough care and affection, they are fragile and precious, so take your time Oliver. I'll be waiting here with Yubel"

Edwin smiled softly as he gazed back at Oliver who nodded his head in response before heading back inside into his room.
