CHAPTER 424 MR. QUINCY IS EVERYWHERE
âClint! I finally got to meet you! I am your fan! Iâve liked you for many years! Are you going to stay here?
Iâm your neighbor!â
The girl was so emotional after she met Clinton. She was so excited and dropped the pack she was
holding. Stacks of Clintonâs personal photos fell out of the pack.
âWow, is this what they call a maniacal fan?â Mackenzie asked after examining a few photos she
picked up from the floor.
Madeline was afraid that the fan would hurt Mackenzie, so she quickly pulled her away.
However, the fan did not notice them. She only had eyes for Clinton.
âThis is great! I no longer need to camp under your house anymore! I can see directly into your
bathroom from my balcony! Iâm willing to climb over my balcony every day for you!â
Clinton removed his hands from the fanâs grasp and said, âThank you for your support. I⦠I donât live
here.â
Then, he looked at Madeline apologetically.
Ever since he got famous for being trolled, he was really afraid of these maniacal fans. He even met
one who stalked him in the toilet.
âItâs fine. I can give you my unit! Clint, please stay with me! I must look at your picture every night
before I can go to sleep. The first thing I do when I wake up is kiss your picture. If we live together...â
The fan was getting more and more aroused from her imagination.
Clinton pushed her away quickly. He quickly ran inside the elevator when he saw Madeline and
Mackenzie inside. After the elevator doors closed, he finally breathed a huge sigh of relief.
âIâm sorry, Ms. Madeline. Iâm really afraid of people like her.â
âThatâs all right. It is all my fault for not checking out the place beforehand.â Madeline was upset
because they got off to a bad start.
âMrs. Quincy, how about the house in Stamford Road?â The chauffeur suggested.
It was indeed a good suggestion. Stamford Road is quiet and convenient, but Madeline did not
remember she had any houses over there.
âHave you forgotten? Mr. Quincy has a house there. It is vacant now anyway.â
âIt is his house after all.â Madeline did not want to take advantage of Noah.
âYou and Mr. Quincy is a family after all. If you think itâs not right to live for free, you can pay Mr. Quincy
rent. Just think of it as renting the house from him.â Said the chauffeur.
âMrs. Quincy, Mr. Quincy will be sad if you act like a stranger to him. When he is sad, all of us will be in
trouble.â The chauffeur added when he saw Madeline was still hesitating.
Noah taught him every word he just said. Otherwise, he would not dare say anything.
Madeline frowned. She knew something was not right. Coincidentally, her unit had Clintonâs fan staying
beside her. Everything turned out to be Noahâs plot.
Judging from what the chauffeur said, Noah would stop all of Clintonâs activities if she did not let him
stay here. Madeline thought Noah was really a troublemaker. So, she figured she might as well take
advantage of him and showed Clinton the house.
The house was great. It had a stunning interior with good surroundings.
Clinton likes it a lot. He asked Madeline, âMs. Madeline, you are asking me to live here becauseâ¦â
âIâm preparing to establish a film company, called Galaxy Films. Are you willing to become my
companyâs first employee?â
âOf course!â After two days, Clinton had already trusted Madeline completely. He got to stay in a big
house and a role in a blockbuster production before even being officially employed. His career could
only flourish from here.
âMy company isnât even established yet. Arenât you worried about ruining your own career?â Madeline
asked with a smile.
âNo. I trust you, Ms. Madeline.â
âMrs. Quincy, donât worry. With Mr. Quincy around, you will be able to do anything successfully in
Imperia.â The chauffeur looked at Clinton.
Clinton quickly said, âPlease thank Mr. Quincy for me.â
âOf course. Mr. Quincy will take good care of anyone who works for Mrs. Quincy.â The chauffeur said
as he waved his hands.
Madeline was speechless. The star she spent so much effort to hire suddenly became Noahâs.
âMommy, what about me? Am I signed under our film company as well?â Mackenzie's eyes lit up when
she heard Madeline was establishing a film company. She tugged on Madelineâs sleeves and asked
excitedly.
Madeline nodded, âOf course. This company was established just for you.â
âI want to become the first to sign for the company!â
âSure. You will be the first to sign.â Clinton answered for Madeline.
âI will pay the compensation for breach of your current contract. Donât worry.â Madeline comforted
Clinton.
âDonât worry, Mrs. Quincy. His current company also belongs to Mr. Quincy. You just need to inform
them about it.â The chauffeur interrupted.
Madeline was speechless, after putting in all the hard work, she only ended up signing someone from
Noahâs company. Besides, Noah was also very cooperative. He provided money and accommodation.
Madeline felt like she was playing house like a child.
Seeing Madelineâs disappointment, the chauffeur quickly explained, âThe company is performing badly.
Mr. Quincy wanted to close the company. Fortunately, you took him here, Mrs. Quincy. Otherwise, a
talent would be lost.â
Madeline said to the chauffeur, âI donât want to hear you mention Mr. Quincy anymore.â
She had been hearing about him since she left the audition venue. It felt like he was there in person.
Clinton was smiling with envy. He could feel how much Mr. Quincy loved Madeline.
âMrs. Quincy, it is time for dinner. A restaurant has been reserved,â said the chauffeur with a smile.
Madeline knew it must be Noah who reserved the place. However, the chauffeur did not mention his
name, so she could not scold him.
âMommy! Thomas caused trouble again!â Mackenzie said anxiously while showing Madeline her
phone.
