“I want to know, from what standpoint does Mr. Solace have the right to meddle in my family matters?”

After Madeline left, Noah approached Alexander step by step.

Alexander was also not afraid of him at all. The Solace brothers only have one sister. If they don’t

protect her, she will be bullied to death by Noah.

“As long as it has to do with Madeline, I will stick my nose in it!”

“Overestimating yourself!” Noah glared at him. Wayne was about to get someone to bring Alexander for

an interrogation.

At this moment, Dylan came out and shouted at Alexander, “Alex, come in and help me.”

Wayne signaled Noah with his eyes.

Noah did not say anything and entered the consultation room before Alexander.

Alexander smirked while Dylan asked him, “Why did you mess with him? For what?”

Dylan was confused. Could it be that Alex had fallen for Madeline? It shouldn’t be. Why didn’t he notice

“They were just having fun with each other. I’m sure if Noah hurt you, Maddie will be mad at him for a

few days. If you hurt Noah, she will never talk to you again.

“I will make them separate sooner or later,” Alexander said with hatred.

Dylan wanted to persuade him but looking at his stubborn personality, he shook his head and went

after Noah. One of them was his bread and butter, another one was his good friend. He does not want

them to fight.

“Noah… Noah. Why did you bother yourself arguing with the likes of him? He’s just a block-headed

doctor.

Noah raised his eyebrows, “You're speaking for him?”

“I'm not speaking for him, I'm thinking for you. Don't you know that Maddie has a good relationship with

the Solace brothers? Didn’t you say that Old Mr. Solace wanted Maddie to be his granddaughter two

days ago? If you hurt her brother, she’ll get you for that.” Dylan tried to advise.

However, Noah was not listening, “Even if it's her blood-related brother, I can't accept it.” The person

who cares most about Madeline in this world and should only be by her side can only be him.

“Noah, you are ridiculous for this. It’s not time for jealousy now. Many big issues are waiting for you

guys to settle now.”

Noah rolled his eyes at Dylan and did not speak to him anymore.

When the two of them had just arrived at the examination room. They heard Mia’s scream coming from

inside, “Let me out! Let me out! I don't want to be here! I want to go home!”

Noah pushed open the door and pulled Madeline into his arms the moment a water cup smashed into

her head.

“What's going on?” Noah asked Lucas.

Lucas hugged Mia tightly and shook his head. Mia got agitated when she woke up and saw the medical

instruments beside her. He hadn’t had the time to ask anything

“Let go of me!” Mia screamed and struggled in Lucas’s arms. Lucas’s face was scratched from her

struggle.

Madeline stepped forward and tried to make Lucas let go of her. He also became agitated. He glared at

Madeline and yelled, “Don't touch me!”

“Pull him away,” Madeline ordered Wayne.

“Don't touch me! Don't snatch her away!” Lucas kicked Wayne who went forward.

Madeline had a bad conjecture in her heart. She glanced at Noah who signaled Wayne to hold Lucas

down. Dylan gave him a sedative injection.

“Everyone please leave.” Madeline stared at Mia who curled up on the bed, she felt heartbroken for

her.

Soon, only Madeline and Mia were left in the room.

“It's okay, no one will hurt you anymore. Look at me, I won't hurt you.” Madeline slowly approached

Mia. When she saw Mia did not repulse, she sat down on the edge of the bed.

Mia timidly looked at Madeline, and when Madeline tentatively touched the back of her hand, she

trembled slightly.

“Your wounds are opened up. Let me reapply the medicine for you, okay?” Madeline asked in a soft

voice.

Mia stared at the bloodied wound on her arm for a while and nodded.

Madeline quietly concentrated on treating the wound.

“Madeline? Are you Madeline?” Suddenly, Mia took the initiative to speak.

Madeline looked up at her, “Yes, I'm Madeline. We bought clothes together and ate together, do you

remember?”

Mia did not answer her question, but grabbed her hand and looked around warily. She then lowered her

voice and said, “They are looking for you, run away.”

“Who are they?” Madeline asked curiously.

Mia’s face went pale. She lowered her eyes and did not speak.

Madeline pursued the question, “Is it, Noah?”

Mia looked at her in horror, then nodded.

“I'll take you back to where I live. It's safe there. Is it okay?” Madeline suppressed the thoughts in her

heart and tried to make herself look honest and trustworthy.

“Will they let you go?”

“They would not dare to stop me. You should know that I didn't have a good relationship with Noah

when I first returned. Yet, I haven't suffered a single loss from him. Just believe me, okay?”

Mia was in a dilemma for a moment before nodding in agreement. Now, she looked much better than

before.

After making sure she wouldn't do anything to hurt herself, Madeline found an excuse to go outside.

Noah and Alexander stood there like a guardian outside the room. They were not looking at each other

but stepped forward as soon as Madeline came out.

Madeline spoke before they could open their mouths, “Please leave here, none of you are allowed to

stay.”

“Mrs…”

"Maddie..."

“You have five minutes.” Madeline turned around and went back to the room.

When she came out again with Mia, the outside was indeed empty. Mia’s mood was stable without

seeing any strangers.

After going downstairs, Albert was already waiting in the parking lot with a car. When she went in the

car, she found that Alexander was also there.

After looking at Mia’s calm reaction, she didn't bother about his presence.

After returning to Maple Forest Villa and settling down with Mia, Madeline asked Alexander, “Why did

you come with us?”

With Noah’s attitude towards Alexander just now, it was impossible to let him have the opportunity to

approach her alone.

“Ms. Parker needs someone to take care of her injuries, and Caleb is not with you,” he explained.

Caleb received a call from Ciara a few days ago and rushed off to Uranica to treat her. So, there was

no private doctor by their side for the time being.

Noah must have considered this before allowing Alexander to come along.

“Why did you oppose Mr. Quincy?” Madeline felt Alexander’s attitude towards Noah was strange today.

It was not the first day they met each other and she had never seen him targeting Noah like this before.
