CHAPTER 558 DADDY NEEDS THE BATHROOM
Once out of the plane, Mackenzie turned on the live stream. It was a feature she adopted from Canary
while staying at the Harvey residence. They followed each other on a short video platform and even got
a lot of social traction from it.
âHello, everybody. My name is Mackenzie. This is my daddy. This is my mommy. These are my
younger brothers. We just came back from our vacation in Yashal. Itâs home sweet home next, and Iâm
excited.â
With Mackenzieâs good looks, any random watchers would stop to check out her video.
Things were soon bustling in her live stream.
âWow! What did I see? I canât believe my darling Mackenzie is a live streamer now.â
âYouâre so cute and precious. I want to kiss you.â
âMr. and Mrs. Quincy are together? I thought Mr. Quincy went on a business trip to Yashal and got into
a scandal with Wilda. Didnât Mrs. Quincy go after Wilda for it?â
âThatâs right. I heard the gossip. Mrs. Quincy sure scares me.â
âJesus. Will she come through the Wi-Fi and beat me up?â
Mackenzie stared at her mobile screen with furrowed brows. âWhy are you talking bad about my
mommy?â
âDarling, weâre not talking bad about your mommy. A lot of people online said that your mommy throws
her weight around.â
Mackenzie innocently asked, âWhat does throwing weight around mean?â
âStop it, everybody. How can Mrs. Quincy be a bad person to raise such an adorable child like
Mackenzie?â
Many comments echoed the same thoughts.
Mackenzie solemnly looked at her phone. Due to people coming and going into the airport, Mackenzie
ran headfirst into someone. It was a good thing Noah was there to pull Mackenzie aside from falling.
With a stern look, Madeline lectured her. âDonât look at your phone while youâre walking. Apologize to
the lady.â
The girl, who got bumped, raised her head and met Noahâs attractive face. She stared at him in a
trance.
The people in the live stream kicked things into high gear.
âHoly sh*t! What is this? Looked at Mrs. Quincyâs long face.â
âUh oh. Is the girl going to get it?â
Mackenzie did not have the nerve to look at her phone since she knocked into someone. She
obediently apologized to the girl. âIâm sorry.â
Snapping out of her trance, the girl waved her arm. âItâs okay. Itâs okay. Youâre adorable. Can I get a
photo with you?â
Mackenzie turned to Madeline. After getting the nod of approval, she went to take a picture with the girl.
Only, the girl stuck around after the quick photo session. She stood there with something on her mind.
âCome on, Daddy.â Mackenzie could tell from the look on her face that another one bit the dust and fell
for her daddy. Mackenzie got right down to action and took her daddy away from the scene.
Falling behind the group, Madeline watched as the girl stared at Noahâs back. Since the girl was not
drooling over Noah like the others, Madeline asked, âCan I help you?â
The sight of Madeline threw the girl into a fluster. âI⦠Iâm good.â
With the sparkle in the girlâs eyes dimming, Madeline encouraged her with a smile, âMr. Quincy is a nice
guy. You can talk to him if you want to.â
The girl picked her head up with glee. âCan I? I have something to tell Mr. Quincy. Donât worry. I donât
like him that way,â Afraid that Madeline would take things the wrong way, the girl explained right away.
âLook. Our children are big now. Weâve been married for some time. Should I be so jealous over
something so minor?â Madeline amusedly shook her head.
Someone wheeled their luggage past Madeline, and the suitcases that were piled up high suddenly
tumbled down on Madeline.
By the time Madeline realized what was going on, she only managed to push the girl to the side, but it
was too late for her to get away.
She thought the heavy suitcases would crash into her, but a person grabbed ahold of her by the waist
and pulled her to safety.
It was a handsome foreign guy who rescued her. The guy loosened his grip and blinked. âBe careful.â
The guy carried himself like a playboy, and a charming playboy too.
âThank you,â Madeline expressed her gratitude with a smile.
The guy wanted to get friendly with Madeline, but a chill crept up his spine. He looked back at a man
approaching him with a murderous aura. The guy had a feeling that the man was coming to punch him
in the face.
Hence, the guy quickly pulled back. âHey! Hey! Hey! Chill out.â
Noah drew close to Madeline with a grimacing look. He took her hand and said to the guy, âThank you
for helping my wife.â
âOh, so sheâs your wife?â The guy was surprised as Madeline seemed young.
âYes, and these are our kids.â Noah looked at Thomas, Colton, and Mackenzie who were behind the
guy.
After the kids said hello with fake smiles, the guy nodded his head and went on his way.
Picking up on the tension, Madeline awkwardly smiled at the girl, who Mackenzie ran into earlier. âSee.
Mr. Quincy is nice.â
A certain nice man was giving the fleeing guy a death stare. If looks could kill.
The girl swallowed hard, unable to muster the courage to talk to Noah.
Madeline nudged Noah. âThis young lady here wants to speak to you.â
Noah frowned. âDo I know you?â
The girl shook her head.
âWhatâs there to talk about if I donât know you.â Noah dragged Madeline along to leave.
Madeline yanked him disapprovingly. âShe has something to tell you.â
âI wonât be able to do anything if I listen to everybody who wants to talk to me.â Noah was unimpressed.
Seeing that the girl was about to cry, Madeline broke free of Noahâs grip and stared him down before
uttering, âFreeze. Turn around. Listen to what she has to say.â
Noah, who was portrayed as a devil in the publicâs eyes, stood still and turned around to face the girl.
He gave her a look to hurry up and spill.
The girl replied under duress, âMr. Quincy, Iâm Lou Campbellâs daughter. You sponsored my fatherâs
medical bills last year, and for that, I want to thank you.â
âOh.â Noah turned around and looked at Madeline. She was done, so could they go now?
Madeline had no idea why Noah was in such a hurry. After saying her piece, the girl lowered her head
and shied away from Noahâs gaze. Madeline offered the girl a few words of comfort before taking off
with the kids.
âWhatâs the rush?â Noah pulled Madeline along to walk faster.
Mackenzie had to run to keep up with the adults.
The people in the live stream were dumbstruck.
âWhy does it seem different from the rumors online? The one with the jealousy issue is Mr. Quincy, not
Mrs. Quincy.â
âLook at Mr. Quincy. Heâs scared that someone will steal his wife away.â
âHaha! Thatâs an uxorious husband to you!â
âBut isnât Mr. Quincy acting a little too indifferent? The girl thanked me, but he said nothing.â
The commenters were divided about their opinion of Noah. Some praised Noah for being a good man
while others questioned Noahâs haughtiness. Mackenzieâs camera soon stopped at the entrance of the
toilet as a certain godlike man scrambled into the loo.
Madeline was speechless. She thought Noah was mad because the foreign guy held her when the
truth was, he had to pee.
âAhem. My daddy just needs to go to the loo. He wasnât being rude.â Mackenzie tried to save her
daddyâs reputation.
