>> The story "Love Letters" draws inspiration from the legendary Chinese folktale, The Butterfly Lovers, which portrays the heartbreaking love story of

>> This story was almost named as, Dear Drusilla.
Although later on that thought was discarded due to Drusilla being a minor character.
>> Throughout the course of the story, Prince Faizal Mohammed Karem Yilmaz the Fifth speaks the word "peasant" eleven times.
>> Michael Fletcher's roommate, Yoo YooJeong is the great grandfather of Yoo YooChan, who is a leading character from another book by the author, SCENERY.

>>The poetry spoken above by Ansel in Chapter 11, Poetry, follows the Vietnamese style Seven syllable poetry called thó thât ngôn,
Where each line has seven syllables and there are quadruplet lines.
On the author's viewpoint, it was an intended attempt to write that poem for Ansel, because he says that he has a fleeting interest in poetry, but when he is asked to recite-
Ansel chooses a foreign verse style, which emphasizes that he is actually a master of verse poetry. And the lines he recites mean that:
The words of a poet are stronger than all the stone of civilizations.
Again, an intended streak from the author, because by these lines, Ansel subtly tries to show that as a poet, his words have more worth.
>> The words highlighted in bold italics in Chapter 12, are the lyrics of the song Wild by Troye Sivan, who's songs the author listened to while writing the whole story.
The entire playlist for Love Letters consists of just one singer- Troye Sivan.
>> Love Letters was supposed to be written in Pride Month, but author got lazy.
>> The author, in real life, has never written/recieved a love letter. It was really very hard to write a good love letter.
