Dear Diary
It's been a tough couple of days. First Emily drags me to a bonfire. Zac sexually assaults me. Tyler spills the beans on why he kicked Zac's ass. I come to terms with the fact that Tyler is Emily's gossip partner in crime. I find out Gabby is a psychotic bitch. Zac confesses he's gay. I almost die on a roller-coaster and Tyler seems to be upset about everything I do. Crazy right? After all of that it's a damn miracle that I'm still breathing. I can't blink without some kind of drama happening. I've only been in college for a month now but I have a feeling this is only the start. Pray for me.

" I kidnapped a dog."
Hah.
I could've sworn Emily just said she kidnapped a dog. Crazy - just then I hear what sounds like a bark. Am I hallucinating?
I hear another bark. Definitely not hallucinating.
I close my diary and look over at Emily. She's standing with a pug in her arms. Her hair is all over the place and she looks out of breath. I notice a few mud stains on her exercise clothes. She went out for a jog and came back with a dog. What could've possibly gone wrong?
Just what I need to add to the drama.
" You kidnapped a dog?" I ask as I get up from my chair.
Emily nods as she puts down the fluffy creature. The dog starts running around the room and sniffing everywhere. It better not pee on my shit. I watch as the dog runs over to Emily's pink fluffy slippers and starts to nibble on it. It looks as if Emily is sprinting away from a mask murderer as she dives for her slippers.
" Bad Twinkle!" she scolds.
So she kidnapped a dog named Twinkle. At least I'm the one staying out of trouble. Hah take that mom.
"Who's dog is it?"
Emily looks up from her sitting position on the floor. She throws her slippers onto her bed and starts to fiddle with her fingers. She bites down on her bottom lip as she avoids eye contact with me.
" Emily Catherine Steel who's dog is that? " I ask for the second time as I quirk my eyebrow.
I have a strong feeling I'm not going to like her answer.
" It's Gabby's dog okay." she admits.
Oh for the love of peanuts.
She kidnapped Gabby's dog? Can't you get like arrested for that? I'm pretty sure you can.
" Why would you kidnap her dog?" I whine as I take a seat on my bed.
The dog starts barking again and Emily puts her hand over it's mouth to tune out the barks. I'm sure it's against the rules to have pets in your dorm. If Emily gets us kicked out I'll lose it.
" She called me a whore." Emily shrugs.
Right because that's the reasonable thing to do. Ladies please if you get slut shamed or anything like that, don't kidnap a dog. It won't solve your problems.
" So you kidnapped her dog because she called you a whore? Nice going Em. Do you even realize what consequences that has?" I sigh.
" She had it coming." Emily whines as she places the dog onto her lap.
I'm assuming her friendship or whatever she called it with Gabby is over after what happened yesterday. Well she did kidnap her dog so I guess I've got my answer.
" We need to get it back to Gabby before she realizes the dog is missing." I say as I grab my car keys.
Emily jumps up from her sitting position and rushes over to the door, blocking my exit.
"No!" she yells.
Over dramatic check.
" What do you mean no? You could get arrested. We could get arrested because you involved me."
Emily shakes her head. Probably to get rid of her crazy thoughts and let us continue on trying to not get our asses locked up.
" I'm just going to keep her for a few days. Gabby doesn't know I took her. No one knows besides you so we won't get in trouble. I'll give her back I promise." Emily rushes.
Once Emily is stuck on an idea there is no going back.
" If the police show up I'm blaming it on you. " I say after thinking my options through. I'll just say she threatened me or something like that.
A huge grin crosses Emily's face before she jumps up and down from excitement.
" The dog can't stay here though. It's too loud and we have neighbors that will tell on us." I add.
" I'm taking her over to Ashton's. He lives off campus and I trust he won't tell a soul." she explains as she grabs her car keys.
The poor dog has to witness Emily's driving skills.
Emily leaves the room and I start to gather my things for my upcoming class that is in a few minutes.

" And that is why you should never spare expenses on marketing. Class dismissed."
I close my laptop and pack it into my bag. This has been one extremely long lecture. I don't think I'll ever forget the importance of an advertisement in my entire life all thanks to professor Green. I scurry out of class as quick as I can. Man I'm dying for coffee now. At least I'm done with all my classes for the day. Nap time!
" Ally."
" Fuck! " I curse as I hear my name being called from right behind me. I get scared easily if you haven't noticed.
I turn around and see Tyler standing with an amused expression.
" Well if you insit." he smirks as he steps closer to me.
So now he's in a good mood again. I can't keep up. Whoever said girls are moody clearly haven't met Tyler. Dude's mood changes thrice a day.
A shiver runs down my spine. Why is it so cold today? I look up and see that the clouds are starting to become heavier. It almost looks as if it is going to rain but it's unusual for this time of year seeing as we are at the beginning of Autumn. Remembering that Tyler is still in front of me I look back at him.
" Is there a reason why you tried to scare the crap out of me? " I ask annoyed.
" I saw Emily running around with a dog in her arms. She looked nervous. Mind explaining what I missed?" he chuckles.
The image of Emily running around with a dog glued in her arms kind of cracks me up. Wish I could've seen that.
" She kidnapped Gabby's dog. Don't tell anyone. " I warn pointing my finger in his direction.
He lifts up his arms in defense. He seals his lips and throws the imaginary key away. Idiot.
" Up for a road trip?" he asks as he walks side by side with me.
" You know I'd love to go on a road trip and all but you see the thing is, I don't like you." I deadpan.
I walk over to the side of my building and pull out a cigarette. Tyler leans against the brick wall with his arms crossed.
" I know you want a taste of this. " he smirks as he starts flexing his arms. Just as I thought things wouldn't get worse he leans down and kisses each of his biceps. Confident much?
" Me kissing you won't turn you into a prince honey. I'd be a waste." I chuckle as I exhale the smoke.
" Who said anything about kissing?" he winks.
" God do you ever stop?" I exclaim as I take another drag from my cigarette.
" Stop what? Being handsome? No can do babe. "
This guy seriously needs to have a reality check thrown his way. How can you be that confident?
Well I mean if you looked like that...
He's still cocky.
" Just stop with the flirting. It's really working on my nerves. "
Tyler takes a few seconds to think of a response. I take a last drag before stepping on the cigarette. Tyler's eyes follows the now dead cigarette as I throw it away in a bin. His infamous smirk appears on his face once again.
" Fine. I'll stop flirting with you."
It was that easy?
" If-" he continues.
It wasn't as easy as I thought.
" You stop smoking." he adds.
I choke on absolutely nothing after hearing those words leave his mouth. He wants me to stop smoking? He's officially gone mad.
" So you want me to quit smoking?" I ask quirking my eyebrow. I almost take out another cigarette just to brace myself for the next part of the conversation.
Tyler chuckles as he yet again invades my personal space.
" No. What I'm saying is that as long as you're not smoking I won't flirt. Take is as a no-smoking-challenge if you'd like. As soon as I hear that you smoked and trust me, I have eyes everywhere, I'll start flirting again. Twice as hard just to catch up on the lost time. " he slowly explains.
So as long as I go without smoking I'd go without Tyler continously flirting? This is a hard decision.
" Don't tell me you're afraid of a little challenge? " Tyler chuckles as he moves in closer.
He keeps on leaning in as my mind goes into overdrive. I haven't been smoking long so it won't be that difficult for me to stop for a while. It could be a good thing for me. I could see if I'm actually addicted or just do it because I can. On the other hand it's sort of a stress reliever for me and I have a lot of that to go around. I have my diary for in case things start going downhill.
I can basically feel Tyler's breath mingling with my own. He's really close. Just one little movement and our lips will touch. I hate myself for wanting his lips so badly on mine now. Come on Ally, just one little move-
" Deal." I whisper.
Tyler's head pulls back and I can finally breath normally again. That got heated pretty fast.
" This is going to be fun." Tyler chuckles to himself.
He probably thinks I won't last long because I'm addicted but I'm pretty sure I'm not addicted so this will be as easy as saying I love you these days.
" Are you sure you are going to be able to contain your hormones around me?" I smirk.
I know for Tyler this is going to be hard. He can't go five minutes without saying something flirty or inappropriate. I'd be nice to have a decent conversation without rolling my eyes for once. Maybe the guy has a personality under all those hormones.
" I've got it handled." he shrugs as he starts walking away.
" Where are you going?" I ask. Kind of rude to just walk away.
" I'm going to go flirt with another girl seeing as you are off the table." he replies.
I laugh at his reply. He's smart. He knows he can't flirt with me but it won't stop him from going after other girls.
It hurts. I can feel it so stop pretending it isn't affecting you my conscience adds.
I'm numb. I don't feel pain anymore. Can we be even more dramatic. Excuse me holy person above, I really would like to be someone else's subconscious! This is just getting sad.
I walk back to the dorm and realize that Emily is probably staying at Ashton's for the night with the dog. This is the first time I'm going to be sleeping alone in the dorm. I hear thunder going off just as I grab my car keys. So I guess there is a storm coming. Man and I just wanted to get coffee. I wonder if they deliver?
Like I said before, I get scared easily. What triggers me more is the sound of thunder. It's terrifying. How can you be calm when there is legitimate electricity shooting from the sky? I don't like to admit it to a lot of people because I sort of have a reputation to keep up. Usually I'm not alone in situations like these so I don't over think too much. But I'm alone now. And I'm thinking of everything that could go wrong. Like maybe the storm will put the power out or set a tree on fire or- you get the point.
I take out my phone and ring Samantha up. Maybe she and Trish would be down to have a mini sleepover? Turns out Samantha left this morning to go back home for a bit and dragged Trish with her for the family to meet. She's finally coming out to them. I'm so happy for her in all honestly but I'm still alone.
Call Tyler.
No.
" Hey Emily. Are you sure you're going to spend the night at Ashton's?" I ask in all high hopes that she just leaves the dog there.
Emily continues to blab on about what the dog has been up to and eventually let's me know she isn't coming back to the dorm tonight. She did invite me over to crash at Ashton's but there is absolutely no way in hell that I'm leaving this room while it's storming outside. I've seen too many documentaries.
My thumb rests over Tyler's contact. I mean we just made a deal about no flirting. He wouldn't be that bad. Yeah right.
I scroll down until my thumb lands on the one person I know I'd actually tolerate throughout the night.
" Zac hey."
