Time flew by quickly. The Scott's carriage stopped near the entrance. Sofia leaned out of the window and saw Nanny running toward Johnny and slapping him, just as she had promised. They said something to each other, but Sofia couldn't hear them. She decided to go downstairs.
"You kept your word, brother," she said.
Meanwhile, Edgar had also come out and approached them.
"I need to go to the city," he said. "I need a coachman."
"I'm not your coachman anymore," Johnny said bitterly.
"Can you keep quiet for once?" Sofia scolded him.
"he's right, he's no longer our coachman," Edgar said patiently. "But it's also true that he has to go back to London, and he has neither a carriage nor a horse... What do you think about going together? You give me a ride, and I'll give one to you."
"Actually, it's true, I don't have a horse," Johnny said. "Where exactly do you need to go?"
"I was hoping you could help me with this... You see, I'm looking for my old coachman."
"I know where he is. I know where he lives."
"Then... shall we go together?"
Johnny nodded, and the two of them climbed into the carriage.
