I watched as their men in the front, swung their blades and launched their spells in confusion. They had no clue what was happening, our forces were now slaughtering their conjurers and archers with ease, some of them noticed the divisions coming from the forest and turned to fight them, but with my illusion of a fake division still up, they didn't know where to go.
However, my job here was done, and it was time to join the battle.
"Sylvie." She turned her head to me. "I'm going to go join the battle now, I'm assuming you are staying out of this one."
"I am." She answered me, if I am right, she is still in the awakening process that Kezess made her go through. "Be safe out there."
"I will."
I canceled out the illusion spell I was casting, keeping the one hiding us still active. The Alacryans looked around in confusion as the people they were chasing disappeared, then turned to the forest where our real force was coming from.
I could feel the five hundred men now on the coast, under the cliff, if anyone survives the fall, they will be met with more weapons. The two divisions formed a barricade, a wall of people, and fought the Alacryans one by one, pushing them back if they could, the five thousand troops were now trapped in between the cliff and our force.
Everything was going according to plan now. "See ya." I took a step off of Sylvie, conjured mana around me, and flew to where I sensed Vanesy. I could see here pretty clearly even within the mass number of people; she was wielding two swords with dirty brunette hair.
I landed behind our force, near Vanesy, and stopped the illusion spell that kept me invisible. "Captain Glory." I said calmly, as I watched her plunge her sword into an Alacryan Striker who had fire coursing through his body.
"Virion, nice work." She said, backing up, letting someone else take her place to drive the force back. The sound of battle made me twitch in excitement, the adrenaline had my heart racing, this was it. "Now, we just need to finish the job."
"Yeah." I said and my body erupted with blue flames, I could sense Arthur taking enemies down, it was my turn to get involved. The flames danced all around my body as I got ready to strike, Vanesy was looking at me impressed. "We got this."
I slowly made my approach to the front lines, I watched as metal cut into flesh, swords crashed, it was a lovely sight. I placed a hand on one of our soldiers, moving him out of my way nicely, then released my aura, pushing my bloodlust out onto my enemies before me. It was like the battle around me stopped as everyone turned to me in fear.
I could see the looks on their faces change immediately as I came into view, I stepped over a corpse and had the blood spilling out of it come to my hand and form a sword. Wind started to build up around me, and I launched myself at a soldier, he couldn't react to me, my sword entered his throat, killing him instantly.
I ripped it out, and the battle resumed, an ax came for my head, but the person wielding it blew up, the blood inside of him covering everyone around him. I caught the ax with my open hand, spun and threw it at an Alacryan who wasn't looking at me, it hit him in the skull, sending him to the ground.
A spear made from water was launched at my head, I swung my blade knocking it to the ground, then sent the flames around me out toward the man, setting him on fire, then dodged a purple claw, and brought my sword into his jaw.
Blood covered me, and the battle had just begun. I felt for the blood inside of the enemies around me, and pulled it all toward me, causing fifteen bodies to explode. I pulled the blood to me, and had it float in the air, then activated "Blood Rain" and set the blood needles into the crowd of soldiers, shields were up, but not everywhere.
The needles were piercing through some of them, as I fought on the ground next to my allies. Of course, at the moment, the closest ally to me was ten yards, since I was mowing my enemies down.
I dodged and hand clad with some sort of energy, grabbed her wrist with my open hand, the girl looked up at me in horror as I was smiling down at her. I then drove my sword into her shoulder, and it went down into her stomach.
I pulled it out, deflected another blade, raised an ice spike out of the ground and into the chest of that soldier, spun and beheaded another. The soldiers around me fell with each attack I sent, I had no mercy for them, this was war.
I extended the blade of my sword like a snake, and as I dodged an earthen spear coming for my head, the blood sword slithered into the throats of multiple enemies. I pulled it back and reformed the blade, and watched as five Alacryans fell to the ground motionless as blood soaked the ground.
I released the blood sword, letting it flow around me for protection, then formed two ice daggers in my hands, I threw the one, and it bounced off a shield that formed in front of a soldier. I threw the other at a different soldier, and another shield formed.
"Uhh." I moaned as I reached into the cores of the soldiers around me, and disrupted their flow of mana, making them unable to use any magic. This also gave our forces an advantage; I formed two ice swords and went to work, slicing through the enemy, blood ran down the ice after I plunged both blades into the guts of two soldiers.
I moved my head slightly as an arrow came for it, pulled my blades out, swung them both in the same direction, and cut the woman in front of me in half. I watched as her top half fell to the ground, sliding off her lower half.
"Ha." I laughed as I got ready to attack the next soldier. If what I was feeling was right, we were slowly making our way toward the cliff, and the five thousand troops were falling like flies to us.
"How?" An Alacryan asked as my sword entered his stomach, and he fell to the ground. A blade made from wind was shot at me, I sidestepped, and watched as the blade went passed me and almost collided with one of my own soldiers.
It was chaos, fighting going on everywhere, people dying on both sides, I was getting deeper and deeper into the Alacryans force with each kill. Three shields appeared in front of me, with six people behind them, the soldiers to my right and left were fighting one another. I gripped the core of the six soldiers and removed their ability to use magic.
The six of them looked at me with fear painted across their faces, I pulled the blood out of their bodies, and as it was coming towards me, I redirected the blood and formed it into scythes, and sent them into more Alacryans, killing ten to twenty more.
I took the fire that was still lit all over my body, and had it come off of me, shaping it into small fire like bullets, conjured wind behind them, and then launched them into the crowd of Alacryans, killing over two dozen.
A big as blade cut through an Alacryan to my right, it was Professor Glory. "Vanesy!" I called out as I brought an ice blade into the chest of a soldier, then spun, pulling it out of him and froze an Alacryan in place, holding him still with my blood magic.
"Don't! Please!" He pleaded, but it didn't matter my sword slid into his throat, and I released him onto the ground. I turned to Vanesy who made her way to my side, our soldiers were ripping through them, pushing them further and further backwards.
"What is it?" She asked me, bringing her sword up to block an attack from an Alacryan in front of her. I helped her out by sending my blade into the man's side and out the other. "Thanks." She said as I pulled my blade out, and his body fell to the ground.
"I'm gonna go jump into the middle of their force, I can't use any of my large spells or I'll hurt our own men here." I was planning on using my more destructive spells there, I couldn't here, or I would end up killing anyone who got hit by it.
"I can't let you do that." She told me as she sliced through an Alacryan, I conjured seven ice spikes that grew and impaled seven individuals who were in my way. "Arthur told me to make sure you didn't do anything to reckless, like for example ---" She paused, dodged an ax made out of the ground, sent her blade into the man, then spoke again. "For example, jumping into a force this large by yourself."
"Haha." I laughed, throwing both my swords into the stomachs of two soldiers, then gripped the throat of an Alacryan, picked the man up, and then slammed him into ground. "That's not reckless." I pulled the blood out of the guy's throat and killed him, then shaped the blood into a large lance, and sent it into the distance, killing an Alacryan or two.
"Is it not?" She cut down another soldier and continued to talk. "Follow the plan, drive them back and force them to surrender."
"I'm pretty sure I out rank you." I said jokingly, as an Alacryan screamed in my face as he brought his sword down on me. I dodged his sword, formed a small dagger in my hand, and then slid it into his side as his momentum took him past me.
"Maybe, but I'm following orders from another General, a General who is older than you." Vanesy said jokingly, and I shrugged, the plan was working, I didn't need to jump on it there and wreak more havoc, I was already doing that. "But if you want to talk while we are fighting, how about you give our men some meaningful words."
"Haha." I laughed, causing the twenty soldiers closest to me to explode, sending blood everywhere. "Meaningful words? Isn't that the captain's job, not mine." I smiled at her, and she was in shock, seeing what I was able to do with a simple spell.
"Isn't it a Lances job to be there for his people." Captain Glory told me as more Alacryans came running up to us, I was the furthest into the force, besides the people beside me.
I aimed my hand at an Alacryan moving side to side running at me, conjuring a small ball of ice. "No, that sounds more like your job." I shot the ball through the soldier's shoulder, and then ripped his blood out.
"Tch." I turned to her as soldiers ran at me, she was just shaking her head at me, then went back to work, taking on the next enemy. Shields were forming, but falling seconds later, I made sure of that, any time I sensed a shield user nearby me, I made sure to disrupt their core.
I faced forward, sidestepped, ducked, and then brought my hand up into the gut of the soldier attacking me, sending fire onto his body, then kicked him into his friends, lighting them up with fire as well.
A ball of fire, the size of a person was launched, coming from the sky, giving it my smallest amount of attention, I shot an icy mist into the air, freezing the ball of fire, then shot a bullet of blood out of my hand, at the icy ball as it fell to the ground, causing it to shatter over our soldiers, instead of colliding with them.
