"Come on! Pick up the pace." Benjy said to us as we walked down a long ass tunnel, I knew Arthur would be fine with everyone up there, he could kill them all, and I could kill them from here. I sensed someone following us, it was that man that wanted Aya.
It only took us about five minutes to get to where their bedrooms were, or cells as they wanted to call them for us. Benjy opened the door for us, and motioned for us to go in. "Thank you." Aya spoke as we walked in.
"You two might be here awhile, so make yourselves at home." Benjy said, then turned toward the approaching figure. "Stan, what are you doing?"
"Benjy, I want to play with that elf, don't you as well?" The man's name was Stan.
Aya and I were now standing in the cell, watching as Benjy spoke to Stan as he got closer. "You know we shouldn't." I felt anger building up in me, I knew Aya could handle herself, but I couldn't let this go.
"Who would know?" Stan stood beside Benjy as he looked at the two of us in the room. "But the brat needs to be somewhere else, I don't need him staring at us."
"As long as we don't leave any evidence, I'm fine with it." Benjy said, and I tilted my head at them. "What? Brat, do you want to watch?"
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I said, breaking the cuffs around my wrist and ankles, staring at the two men in anger. "Aya, na, I can't do this anymore." I started to rub my wrist where the cuffs were.
"What the hell? He just snapped the cuffs?" Benjy and the man named Stan started to back up away from me. "Go get help!"
Stan was staring at me in horror, not listening to Benjy as my aura exploded out of me, then, like he was nothing, poof, Benjy was no more, blood covered the hall, and Stan. "Veer, really?" Aya said.
"What? I wasn't going to let them touch you." I said, shrugging at her, then conjured an ice dagger in my hand. I still didn't sense anyone strong here, so I wanted to have some fun.
"Please, don't hurt me, I'll give you anything!" Stan pleaded for his life, then fell to the ground, with his back to the wall. I started to walk closer to him, Aya wasn't stopping me, so I took that as an okay, do what you want. "Please!"
"Sorry, but I need some blood." I manipulated the blood that was all around the room from Benjy, and it flowed around my arms. "And I'll be taking yours."
"No, please, please, stop this!" Stan started to conjure a ball of fire in his hand, but it disappeared as I disrupted his core. "What? No? It's you, isn't it? The Devil? I thought it was a myth, but you truly are the embodiment of death."
"I can live with that." I said, shrugging, shooting myself at him, sliding the ice dagger into the side of his throat, and as the blood came out of him, I brought it to my arms, and had it join Benjy's blood.
"You good, Veer?" Aya asked, and I turned around and faced her.
"Yeah, don't worry." I lit the body parts that were left of Benjy and Stan on fire, with my blue fire, burning their flesh and bones to dust. "We can keep our cover don't worry."
"And how is that?" Aya asked, I waited a second, letting the fire do its work, then smiled.
"Like this." I lifted my hand, holding it out straight, facing the hall, then conjured two clones, one of Benjy, one of Stan. "Go back to Arthur, and play your parts, don't do anything stupid though."
"Yes, sir." The Benjy clone said with a smile, then the two clones ran off.
"Jeez." Aya said, wide eyed. "That's pretty ruthless."
"Hey, if I did what I wanted, I would have already killed everyone up there." I told her honestly, knowing that was the truth. "Now, we can go in this cell, and just sit tight, my clones will handle everything for us."
"Haha." Aya laughed as I walked into the cell and closed the door. "What about your cuffs?"
"Benjy took them off." I said simply, burning the parts left on the ground to ash. "We will be fine, unless, you know, you and I go underground right now, and kill all the soldiers."
"Stick to the plan." Aya said, sitting on the bed that looked awful. "However, I do appreciate you sticking up for me, but I could have handled it."
"Ehh, it gave me a great reason to kill them." I shrugged, knowing I wanted to kill them from the start. "Now, we sit here, and wait, I'm still sensing for anything out of the ordinary." I rather just go underground and wait for them, but I guess that isn't part of the plan. I sensed someone coming, someone who was in the tavern, but wasn't around the men with Arthur.
"Let me know if you sense anything, I'm going to close my eyes for a little." Aya laid back in the bed, and I sat down on the ground, closed my eyes, and focused.
After about, I don't know, maybe ten minutes, I felt a bunch of slaves in some sort of hut, some of them were dying, some already dead, I wasn't looking for them in specific before, but I could feel them now. "Aya." I said, opening my eyes, turning towards her on the bed. "I can sense a decent amount of slaves in some sort of hut, or small cabin, some of them are dying, some are dead, shouldn't we help them?"
Aya rolled her head towards me, and her eyes opened. "Can you heal them?" I nodded my head, knowing I could, just not from here. "Well, we are here to stop the slave trade, we might as well go over there, and ----." She was cut off, as someone slammed on our door, then opened it.
The man who opened the door had no armor on but had a sword at his side. "You!" He said, pointing at me. "Come, your master wants you by his side."
"Me?" I said questioningly with a smile on my face. "My master wants me by his side, I am honored." I spoke sarcastically and got to my feet.
"Where are your cuffs?"
"That one man was so kind, he took them off me." I took a step toward the man, not knowing what else to do. "I have no clue where he put them, sir." I said innocently.
"Fine, come along." He ordered, and I stepped out of the cell. "Go!" He shoved me forward as I was forced to walk back up this stupid tunnel. "Walk faster, I don't want your stench to get on me."
"Oh my, my stench is going to get all over you." I waved my arms back and forth in the air sarcastically. "How tragic."
"You need to work on what comes out of your mouth, slave." I sensed him draw his sword from his side. "Or I'll be forced to teach you myself."
"Yourself, what are you, orange core, shut your mouth, and let's go." I said, not even turning back to him, but that's when his sword came down on my shoulder, I sidestepped, side eyed him as his blade hit the ground. "Fuck this..." I said simply, pulling out my elven sword, and sliding it into the guy's sternum.
"Ahhh!" He screamed in agony as my sword went through his body, and I pushed him up against the wall.
"You know, you slave traders need to learn some manners, because I don't get annoyed easily, and in a matter of moments, meeting you set me off." I twisted the sword, and he spit up blood. "What a pleasant sight." I smiled as I ripped my sword out of him, then conjured an ice dagger in my left hand, and slid it into his skull, killing him instantly.
I released the dagger and then sighed, looking forward, damn these people. I placed my sword back into my mana ring, that was the first time I used an actual sword in a while, like me, not a clone.
I can't leave this body here. "Burn." I said, walking towards the tavern, and the man's body lit up in blue flames, melting him to ash. Alright, guess I need to do a little acting now, that's on me though, this guy shoved me too hard.
I made my way through the tunnel, and out into the tavern, the people eyed me up as I walked to Arthur. "Where's Blake? He was supposed to bring you here, slave?" Stan asked me, well, the clone of Stan.
"He wanted to spend some quality time with someone, I don't know who." I said innocently, trying to act like the kid I was.
"Haha, I see." Sebastian said.
Arthur eyed me up as I stood behind him. "Everything okay?" He asked, and I nodded. "I thank you for the hospitably."
"Don't worry about it." Sebastian said, and then continued to speak. "So, you want to speak about the slaves we have here, and I wanted to hear what I have to pay to purchase this youngling here, and the elf."
"Yes." Arthur spoke, looking at me. "Of course, I know if I would sell my two slaves to you, my father would most likely want two of his own, plus some gold."
"Very wise for your age I can see." Benjy said jokingly. "He's got a point, that elf is on a whole different tier compared to others I have seen." My clone was going a bit too far there, but he had a point.
"I can bring you to my slaves, that way you can pick the ones out you would like." Sebastian lifted his only arm up, and took a sip out of his ale, I think he might be drunk. "That's after you promise to give my men here a night with your elf before your father shows up, that way even if he says no, we get to have some fun."
"I agree with you." Arthur drank his drink. "As long as you have good products here, it will work for me."
"You are a very smart kid." Sebastian said.
"Yeah, he is." Stan agreed with Sebastian. "Hey, mind if I come with you, I need to deliver my slaves to the pen." My Stan clone had a smile on his face, which was weird, but made sense, he was playing his part.
"That is fine with me." Sebastian said as he got up from his seat. "Let's get going, I'll show you what I got so that we can make a deal."
I entered the consciousness of the Benjy clone, and told it to go and get Aya, just in case anything happened, which I think things were about to go down, because ten more Alacryans showed up, they must have teleported in.
"How much for the kid? I would love to spend some quality time with him." The fucking waiter spoke up from behind my Stan clone, she was smiling towards me.
"I'm sorry, but since this man has been so kind to me, I have to offer him to him first." Arthur nodded his head toward her, showing his sympathy, ill. "Come on." He spoke to me as Sebastian, my Stan clone, and he made their way out of the tavern, I followed behind them quickly.
As we exited the tavern, I winked at the waiter, not giving a fuck. "Come on, just around the corner of this street." Sebastian spoke up as I walked behind the three of them. "I'll show you the dwarves, elves, and all the humans we have, I'm positive you'll find a couple you like."
"I appreciate your kindness." Arthur said, walking next to him. "Mind me asking, what happened to your arm?" He paused, then continued. "Did you fight in the dungeons?"
Sebastian shrugged. "No, I did not, I lost my arm a while ago, I didn't know what happened to it until recently, that new Lance, the youngest one, he caused this."
"Really?" Arthur turned to me, and then turned back to Sebastian. "That young lance, what is his name, Virion?"
"Yeah, it is Virion." Sebastian said, and my stomach fell, everything in me froze, not in fear, not in panic, but in excitement.
"Hahahaha." I started to laugh in the middle of the street, and we all stoped, they looked at me. "This is hilarious." I said, sensing what I did.
"What's wrong with ----." Sebastian was speaking but was cut off as an ice sword of mine entered his chest, cutting off his magic.
"We are in for a fun time." I said with a grin, holding the ice sword in Sebastian's chest as we stood in the middle of the road, doing nothing at all.
"Veer!" Arthur exclaimed as I kicked Sebastian's body to the ground without hesitation.
"What?" I asked, curious on why he would be upset.
"What are you doing?" Arthur asked, but I could see Aya looking at me, she knew what I sensed.
"Oh my." Aya said.
"Haha." I laughed once again, as the three presences got closer to us, these aren't Scythes, but they are not normal mages, and that's when multiple people walked through the teleportation gate underground, maybe fifty to one hundred Alacryans, this is hilarious, they think this is enough for me.
"What? Veer, speak up!" Arthur said once again.
I turned to Arthur in the middle of the street. "There are three Retainers, each one on the outside of the town, waiting for us, it seems they were waiting until this very moment to use mana." They were all separated, not one next to the other, this isn't good, with the troops underground numbering over one hundred. "And soldiers just showed up underground, I sense one hundred and eleven."
