(One Month Later)

"Virion, I am going to have you spar with Lance Varay." Aldir told me as I stood next to Lance Varay. "Lance Varay keep your magic simple, I just want to test Virion's capabilities."

"As you wish." Lance Varay nodded; I was excited to be sparring with her. She backed away from me and got into position.

"So, you want me to use my blood magic?" I asked Aldir, I couldn't manipulate Lance Varay's blood with ease because she was a white core, but now that I was in mid stage silver core, I could control limbs. I tried on Lance Aya, she slapped me afterwards, and told me not to use it on her again.

"Yes." I shrugged in acknowledgement and pulled my elven sword out of my mana ring. Lance Varay was standing twenty yards from me.

I activated "Blood Oath" and reinforced my body with mana, and my sword. I then surrounded my blade in a blue fire, and an icy mist. I gave Lance Varay a nod, and she did the same. She wasn't holding a weapon.

I coalesced wind behind me and used "Blood Acceleration" to make me even faster, I would have conjured my water helix, but Lance Varay could freeze it with ease. I got into position to launch myself, then like I was shot out of a canon, I was in front of Lance Varay in an instance.

I swung my sword at her, and an ice wall grew up blocking my attack. I put even more force into my attack and cut right through it. As the ice shattered, I threw a kick at her stomach, but she simply kicked my leg to the ground.

I formed wind behind her as I swung my sword at her rip cage, and brought her closer to me, then as she was moving, I buckled her one knee out, making her topple over slightly. My sword was inches away from her shoulders now, but an ice sword grew in her hand and stopped my attack.

Our blades crashed and her face was still the same, not phased at all, Lance Varay was awesome. She pulled back her sword and grew another one from underneath me. I quickly sidestepped it, and copied her spell, sending an ice sword at her. Lance Varay broke the ice with her sword and stood still looking at me.

I shot myself at her again, swinging my blade at her side, Lance Varay took a step back, then I brought my sword to her other side, she simply dodged that attack too. I conjured wind blades in the air and shot them at her, Lance Varay from up an ice barrier, that broke when the two collided.

I shot myself through the debris and swung my sword at her ribcage again, an ice sword shot out of the ground toward my calf, and I spun away from it, pulling me off my target. Two more ice swords grew, and I cut each one down with my sword, as Lance Varay watched without making a move toward me.

Let's see if Lance Varay can see this coming, I used illusion magic to create a fake me, and I backed away, hiding my presence using blood magic and illusion magic. I had the illusion of me launch at Lance Varay and I grew ice swords out of the ground behind her.simultaneously.

She spun around broke the ice before it reached her, and then grew an ice sword at my illusion's stomach. That's when I launched myself at her from the side, the sword went through my illusion's stomach, and I had it fall over.

Lance Varay looked down, and then quickly raised her sword in surprise as my blade came down on her shoulder. Our blades crashed, and I smiled at the stunned Lance. She might have seen it coming near the end, but I did trick her a little. I still haven't mastered my illusion magic; however, I would say that was a good attack.

I kept pushing my blade down on the sword made of ice in her hands. "That was impressive." Lance Varay said calmly, back to her composed self. "I see why they speak highly of you."

"Oh, thanks, it means a lot coming from you." I reached for the blood in her hand that was holding the sword. "But I haven't used all my abilities as well." I numbed her hand for a second making her let go of the sword.

My sword got past hers and made its way to her body, Lance Varay sidestepped my attack, and I spun and kicked her in the gut knocking her back a few feet. I just landed a hit on Lance Varay, of course she wasn't fully trying, but still.

"I'm assuming that was your blood magic." I nodded my head. "Interesting." She raised her hand above her head, and five ice lances formed. I shot fire at the lances before they could even be sent at me.

The two collided and canceled each other out, I got ready to launch myself again at her, but was stopped when she appeared in front of me holding an ice sword. She swung at my chest, and I quickly parried the attack, bringing my sword to her stomach.

An ice wall grew up, and blocked my attack, as Lance Varay brought down an elbow to my back, knocking me to the ground. As she went to point her sword at my throat, I used wind magic to separate myself from her and rise to my feet ten yards from her. "You fought well." She said as she dismissed her spells.

I turned to Aldir who slowly approached us and dismissed my own spells. "Virion, that was good." I knew she wasn't trying completely but being able to keep up with her slightly felt good. "With time and more training, you'll get stronger."

"I know, thanks." I said, as I turned back to Lance Varay and bowed. "Thank you for sparring with me today." I gave her a smile.

"It's my pleasure." Lance Varay nodded. "Is that all for today, Lord Aldir."

"Yes, you may leave." Aldir told her, and she bowed to us and started to leave. "Virion, how was your control over her blood?"

"I could control her limbs sort of, so pretty good I think." I answered him honestly. "I didn't try to disrupt her core; I figured it wouldn't work."

"Most likely not." Aldir told me honestly. "To be able to put up that much of a fight against a Lance is good, like I said before, in time you'll get stronger."

"Yeah." I had an idea the other day, and I wanted to bring it up with Aldir before Elder Virion. "Where is Cynthia Goodsky?"

Aldir seemed confused by my sudden question. "Why do you ask?"

"I know she was involved with Alacrya in some way, and I haven't seen her in a while, so I was just curious where she was." I couldn't tell Aldir that I knew they interrogated her, and she pushed herself to give answers, which then inevitably activated the seal. "Maybe I could help."

"Hmm." His third eye scanned me. "Very well then." He started walking out of the training hall. "I'll bring you to her."

He will already? "Alright." I followed him out of the training hall and into the hallway.

"You should know, she is not able to speak at the moment." I knew they questioned her already.

"Is she okay?" I asked, I needed to know if she was in the comma yet, or just in pain.

"No." We turned a corner. "She is unconscious." Damn it, let's hope this plan of mine works. "We have her in a room guarded at all times, she is no prisoner, but is to be treated with caution."

"I understand."

After a long ten minute walk with Aldir, we made it down to the room Cynthia Goodsky was in. There were four guards guarding the door, and a nurse was walking our way.

"Has there been any change?" Aldir asked.

The nurse bowed to him. "I'm afraid not."

Aldir nodded and we walked by her and made our way inside of the room. The guards didn't question us, they knew who Aldir was, all they did was bow.

In the room, Cynthia Goodsky was laying in the bed motionless, sleeping. We slowly approached, and I said. "Mind if I try something?" I asked Aldir, as I sat on the bed next to the Director.

"Go ahead." Aldir stood behind me and watched. I activated "Blood Oath."

I started to feel for the blood in her body, and found the damages done to her by the seal, then started to repair her body from the inside. It only took me two minutes to get her to a point where she woke up. I couldn't remove the seal, but I healed her, this meant I just changed her fate.

"Don't speak yet." I told her as she looked at me wide eyed, I turned to Aldir who was looking at me confused. "It seems my blood healing abilities are quite amazing." I smiled, I wanted to talk to the Director privately, Aldir couldn't be in her especially. "Aldir, can I speak to her alone?"

He gave me a skeptical look. "Sure." I turned back to the Director, as he walked out of the room.

"I need your help." I said as the door closed behind me. "I don't need info on Alacrya or anything."

"W-what is it then?" She stuttered as she eyed me up. "You Leywin boys are always up to something." I was surprised she could talk this well, I was afraid the seal damaged her voice or something.

"Avier." I said, and her eyes widened again. "Could you get him here, or tell me where he is?" With the Director's permission, I would like Avier to accompany me, his intelligence and power would be greatly appreciated.

"No, child." She said simply. "He can't come here."

"Then where is he? Don't ask me how, but I know he is a Wyvern." She looked stunned. "I know a lot of things, Director, and we could use his help."

"He can't." She said again.

"Why? Just tell me where he is?" I stood up and looked down on her. "He is your bond, is he not? Shouldn't he be with you? Or did you send him to Alacrya?"

"He just can't, Virion." She glared at me. "Avier isn't fond of the Asuras." I knew it, of course he wouldn't be. "They aren't enemies, if that's what you are thinking."

"We could really use his help, Director." I said calmly. "Let me find him then."

"I don't know where he is child, he has disconnected himself from me." I sighed. "I'm sorry, but if you know about Avier, you know he is older than most of us, and is extremely intelligent. I would suspect he is hiding out somewhere peaceful."

"I see." I looked down, and then back to her. "I didn't get to talk to you after the attack, but since you haven't asked me, I'm assuming you don't know."

"Don't know what?" She asked me confused.

"I am going to tell you, and you are going to relay the information to Avier, okay?" She nodded her head. "Director, I am a Blood Deviant."

She just stared at me. "What!"
