I walked up on ahead, and toward the tent, I could feel Victoria walking behind me. I swung the flaps of the tent open, and inside wasn't who I was expecting. "Windsom?"
The Asura turned to me, and the look on his face was plan as normal. "Virion, you are wanted back at the Floating Castle." He told me, and Victoria walked into the tent.
Victoria looked at Windsom in awe, and I started to speak. "Well, that's perfect timing, because we cleared the dungeon." I gave our commander a nod as he was staring up at Windsom. "So, I was planning on coming back anyways."
"Is this true, Victoria?" Our Commander asked.
"Yes." Victoria told him. "We took out the last horde ourselves, there were no signs of Alacryans." Windsom gave me a look, and I moved my head, signaling that we could leave if he wanted.
"We will be departing." Windsom spoke, and everyone got silent. "Virion will be coming with me, there is no need to report that." He started walking toward me and out the tent. "Let's go."
I gave Victoria one last look, then followed him out of the tent. "What's so important that you needed to come and get me?" I walked alongside him, and toward the teleportation gate he had set up already.
"You'll see." He simply said, and we stepped through the gate and into the Floating Castle. "First, the council should know of your return and that you cleared the dungeon, then I'll take you to your visitor."
"My visitor?" I asked questioningly. Who could be here to see me that Windsom had to get me?
"Don't worry about it for now, but don't mention anything to the council, he's here secretly." Windsom shot me a serious look. "I don't want the council knowing he's here."
"Alright, I won't." I faced forward, looking away from him as we walked through the halls of the castle. "Is it serious?"
"No, but you could benefit from it significantly." I was now super curious. "We'll get to it shortly, child, focus on seeing the council first." How could I benefit from seeing someone, unless it was another Asura? It's not Kezess, he wouldn't come here to see me, so who?
"Okay." I told him as we turned the corner. "How's my brother doing?" I asked the god, trying to make conversation.
"He's improving." Windsom answered.
"Good." If my timing is right, he should be training in the forest or the woods, I don't know what they're considered, which means Windsom shouldn't be here, he should be watching him. "But shouldn't you be with him?"
"Yes." He answered my question. "But I had someone step in for me, so I could come here." Kordri I'm assuming, couldn't ask that though.
"Alright." We stopped in front of the council room doors, and watched as the guards bowed to us and opened the doors without anyone saying anything. The doors opened and we walked inside, there were only three people inside of the room, Elder Virion, Lance Varay, and Lance Olfred, such a weird combination.
Aldir must be training Tess, I stopped in the middle of the room and looked up at Elder Virion. "Gramps." I sent him a smile. "We cleared the Snarler Pit, no signs of Alacryans there." I told him and he didn't respond right away.
"Your team cleared another dungeon?" Lance Olfred asked me, instead of Elder Virion speaking.
"Yes." I told him with an emotionless tone.
"Unbelievable." He said.
"That's good to hear, Virion." Elder Virion nodded his head. "Is everyone okay?"
"Yeah, it was only my team who took on the final floor, no one got injured." I told him. "There wasn't any strong mana beast, so we just took them on."
"I see." Elder Virion gave me an approving look. "Good job." He told me, then went on. "Windsom has asked me, and everyone on the council, if it would be okay to take you."
"Take me?" I asked, turning to Windsom. "You want to take me to Epheotus?"
"No." Windsom answered quickly. "You'll be staying here, but you'll be training in a dungeon, actually we'll probably go to the one you just cleared." Windsom was going to be training me or the person waiting to see me?
"I wanted to make sure you are okay with this?" Elder Virion asked me. "Windsom has given me a message from Lord Indrath." He gave me a scary look. "He thinks that, just like Arthur, you are going to be a key in the war, and before thought of you as just a child, but after hearing what you did, he has changed his mind." That answers a question I had, Kezess wasn't the one who brought me to this world. I figured; he doesn't have that power.
"Your parents will think you are in a dungeon with your team, not with me, we want to keep it a secret." Windsom wanted me to keep this from my family? I didn't see the big deal in telling them I was going to be training. "My Lord is very intrigued with your abilities, and wanted to see you, but insists on you staying here for now."
"That's fine with me, I would love to train with an Asura." I answered him. "For how long?"
"About a month or two." I couldn't deny the training of a new Asura, they might be able to help me with my blood magic, you never know. "You are okay with leaving the field?"
"For this, I am willing too." I didn't want to but couldn't pass up this chance. Aldir helped me a little but didn't really help improve my magic. "When do we start?"
"Today, I'll bring you to your room, then we'll set off." Windsom turned to the door. "We could go now, if you want?"
I faced Elder Virion and the two Lances. "You know, gramps, you never told me why I had to fight Lance Varay." I gave her a smile, as the question came to my mind.
"You'll find out sooner or later." Lance Varay said seriously. "Go get stronger." She nodded her head at me, and I gave Lance Olfred a glare. It wasn't a big deal, but I did wish he wasn't here. He was most likely going to tell some Alacryan about how an Asura was training me, and that person would relay the information to Agrona.
I wonder if Agrona knows where I am, he tells Arthur that he knows where our parents are at all times when he speaks out of Sylvie, the same could be true about me. I don't know the powers he possesses, all I know is that he is a true god, one I would need to get a lot stronger to defeat.
"Okay." I answered, and Windsom and I left the council room. "So, I can't even say goodbye to my parents?"
"No." Windsom looked on ahead. "Lord Indrath wants to keep your training a secret for the time being, and I should tell you, he has high hopes for the kid who slain a hundred Alacryans by himself."
"Ha." I laughed, and he turned to me. "Sorry, it's just you're telling me a god has high hopes for me, it's hard to believe." I couldn't tell him that I knew what he did to the ancient mages. I also know that Kezess is power hungry, so no wonder he is interested in me. I actually thought he would want to see me after Windsom told him I was a Blood Deviant.
"I know, but isn't this what you wanted?" He asked me, and I scratched my head.
"What do you mean?" I don't think I've ever said I wanted the support of a god.
"You want to be thought of as an adult, don't you, and being praised by my lord is the greatest thing a Lesser could ask for." Windsom was actually being serious, oh, I forgot, he's like a teacher's pet.
"I can't say I'm honored, I don't know him, but I'll take your word for it." I lied to him. "But I do have to say, I could careless now if people look at me as a kid, I know I am, but this kid could probably kill them."
Windsom nodded his head. "That may be true." I wanted to say something about him calling me a Lesser, but I couldn't afford pissing him off now, that will come later on. "The powers you possess are fascinating to me, to be able to control the blood of your opponent's seems impossible."
"Still nowhere close to you in strength." I shrugged. "I'll never get there in strength." I lied again, I was going to get there, I don't know how yet, but I will.
"I wouldn't say that." Windsom pointed down a hallway. "This was, we aren't going to your room." I followed him down the hallway. "Just like your brother, you are going to be a key in winning this war, before we had no plan in using you, but we are now, and it may change everything." That was the goal of course, but he didn't know what my presence would be changing.
"And what part in the war do you intend on using me in?" I asked the god. "The same as Arthur, I hope, I want to see what's so special about these Retainers and Scythes." I used to get scared thinking about fighting them, but now, I only get excited, our battles will be amazing. It made me jumpy just thinking about it.
"How do you know about that?" Windsom turned to me skeptically.
I didn't have a work around on this one, so I'll answer him honestly this time. "I know everything, Windsom." Windsom stopped in front of a door, and I did as well. He was giving me a weird look. "What?"
"Since you can already keep up with a Lance, and possibly defeat them in battle, Lord Indrath would like to use you like Arthur." That's good to hear, at least I'll get my way there without having to seek them out myself. "I don't completely understand your knowledge and abilities just like your brother, but you are a very interesting Lesser."
"Thanks?" I went to open the door, but he stopped me.
"One second." He told me. "The person we are going to see ---." He paused for a second and thought about what he was going to say. "Make sure to do everything he says, it will be weird, but it's just his personality. He's one of the smartest Asuras, but he's a little strange." Who the hell was he talking to about?
"Okay." He stepped back and I went to open the door again.
"Finally!" Someone exclaimed as we walked in. "We are on a timetable, Windsom, what took so long?" He did not look like an Asura, he was wearing shabby clothing and had a tired look to him. "Is this one of the so called saviors?"
Could this be???
