Su Jincheng kept staring at Su Jinyu after he asked the question, and his gaze shocked the boy.

There was a mix of guilt, regret, and a trace of affection...

Su Jinyu suddenly wondered if it was him that the older man fell in love with!

Su Jinyu looked at his mother awkwardly.

Luo Qiqi frowned. “What are you doing, Su Jincheng!”

“I’m thinking about what the little guy said earlier. Didn’t he ask if I fell in love with you at first sight?”

Luo Qiqi rolled her eyes at him.

“Handsome Uncle, is that true?”

Su Jincheng smiled as he said, “Yes, I’ve fallen in love with your Mummy at first sight!”

He glanced at Gu Yi’an when he spoke, trying to see if the other man would react.

However, Gu Yi’an did not say or do anything. He was like a lifeless puppet.

This surprised Su Jincheng, and he wondered if he had actually misunderstood anything.

Su Jincheng’s words made Luo Qiqi blush again as she looked down at the table.

Su Jincheng moved closer to the boy, but when Luo Qiqi realized it, she quickly pulled her son away from him, staring at Su Jincheng cautiously.

Everyone was shocked at how Luo Qiqi reacted.

Embarrassed, Luo Qiqi cleared her throat again and hugged her son tight.

Su Jinyu looked up at her and asked, “Mummy, what’s wrong?”

Su Jincheng looked at Luo Qiqi, wondering how she would answer.

Luo Qiqi said, “Don’t get too close to him. He doesn’t like you!”

What she wanted to say was that this man would hurt you, but she didn’t want to traumatize Su Jinyu so badly, so she chose to say that Su Jincheng didn’t like him instead.

Su Jincheng’s gaze darkened at this. Why does she think that I don’t like the boy?

Su Jinyu was confused. “Mummy, Handsome Uncle likes me. He’s been very nice to Lele!”

“I’m your mother. You’re not going to listen to me?”

Sensing that Luo Qiqi was about to blow her top, Su Jinyu looked down with a slight frown.

Luo Qiqi patted her son on his head, feeling bad about everything.

Su Jincheng looked at her incredulously. “Luo Qiqi, what are you getting at? What do you mean?”

Why is she being so cautious?

Luo Qiqi put Su Jinyu in Gu Yi’an’s arms and said, “Yi’an, take Lele back first. I have something to discuss with him!”

Gu Yi’an carried Su Jinyu and left without another word.

After seeing the two of them leave, Luo Qiqi turned back to Su Jincheng. “It’s very clear what I’m getting at. I would have been even more direct if it wasn’t to save you from further embarrassment!”

A trace of anger appeared in Su Jincheng’s eyes. “Luo Qiqi, what are you talking about? I don’t get you at all!”

“Fine. I’ll explain then. I, Luo Qiqi, am not one to hide anyway. You must already know that Lele is my child!”

She then continued, “You made me stay in that hospital for an entire month and you lied to me in the hopes of getting rid of my baby. Now that I’ve given birth, I’m going to keep my distance from you. You didn’t even want to welcome Lele into this world when he was still in my tummy, you wanted to kill him. There’s no way I would let you go close to him now!”

“Luo Qiqi, do you even have a heart!”

“I don’t!”

“Luo Qiqi, take a good look at reality. I did that because the doctor said your body was too weak. You might lose your life if you had a baby. He’s my child too, you’re not the only one who’s upset over that! Luo Qiqi, could you be more reasonable?”

“That doctor is a quack. Haven’t I given birth to Lele safely? I’m fine, aren’t I? Also, what do you mean by being reasonable? Didn’t you know that there’s no such thing as logic when it comes to emotions?!”

“Qiqi, does this mean that you still feel for me?”

Luo Qiqi decided to ignore Su Jincheng’s question.

Su Jincheng got up suddenly and walked towards her. She stood up and backed away naturally, but Su Jincheng continued closing in on her.

“Qiqi, why are you not talking? Don’t pretend to be deaf and dumb.”

Luo Qiqi backed away with every step Su Jincheng took until she hit a wall behind her.

Raising his arms, Su Jincheng trapped her against the wall. “Qiqi, why aren’t you talking? Am I being too nice?”

She felt a dangerous aura emanate from Su Jincheng.

“Qiqi, what’s your relationship with Gu Yi’an?”

His question took her by surprise.

Seeing her in a daze annoyed Su Jincheng.

“I’m talking to you, Luo Qiqi. Did you hear my question? Tell me what’s going on with Gu Yi’an!”

Who is he to talk to me like that!

“You don’t have to care about my relationship with Gu Yi’an. Who are you anyway? May I remind you that we aren’t related?!”

Su Jincheng kissed Luo Qiqi on the lips right after she spoke, trapping her against the wall as he did so, preventing her from escaping.

Luo Qiqi was so embarrassed that she could murder him.

Gu Yi’an thought that her discussion with Su Jincheng would probably be over by now, but he opened the door to the room only to witness them kissing!

They might have gone even further if he didn’t open the door.

Gu Yi’an cleared his throat before remembering to cover Su Jinyu’s eyes.

Luo Qiqi heard him cough and pushed Su Jincheng away. She stared daggers at Gu Yi’an and Su Jinyu.

Gu Yi’an said, “It’s fine. Continue… continue...”

“Su Jincheng, do you have a death wish!”

“I just wanted to find out if your lips were soft or hard! I can die happy if I get killed now!”

“Don’t you know that I’m a rose with thorns!”

“Uncle Gu, what is Mummy and Handsome Uncle doing? Are they playing kissy?”

Luo Qiqi deadpanned. My dear son, why did you have to say that?

Gu Yi’an laughed. “Well… Kids don’t have to understand. You’ll get it when you grow older!”

Su Jinyu pouted. “I’m no longer a kid!”

This boy is adorable! You’re only four! You’re no adult!

Luo Qiqi rubbed at her lips, igniting that fiery gaze in Su Jincheng yet again.
