Chapter 342: Chapter 342 – I’ll Marry You When We Grow Up

They arrived at a compromise where Ye Zhongjue would be the one to help their son take showers and Mo Suqing would help their daughter do so.

Mo Suqing could only marvel at how quickly her children were growing up, and she couldn’t believe Ye Zhongjue could actually be jealous of his own kids!

Mo Suqing tucked her daughter into bed after her shower before returning to her own room.

When Ye Zhongjue saw her, he asked, “You didn’t take a shower when you were helping Xiaoliu with hers?”

“I’m not you!”

“You’re not me, but you’re mine!”

Ye Zhongjue then scooped Mo Suqing up in his arms and whispered in her ear, “Let’s take a shower together!”

“Put me down. Didn’t you already take a shower?”

“I want to take another shower!”

He then gave her a tiny peck on the lips.

They ended up spending the entire night in the shower together!

While having breakfast the next morning, Mo Yanxi asked Ye Zhongjue, “Daddy, why isn’t Mummy up yet?”

“Mummy wants to rest. She’s too tired after exercising yesterday night!”

“Exercise?”

“Yup! Mummy probably wants to lose some weight so she did a lot of exercise last night. She’s probably too tired!”

Mo Suqing would have rolled her eyes at him if she heard this explanation.

Though slightly confused, Mo Yanxi nodded and continued with her breakfast.

After breakfast, Ye Yanchen asked, “Daddy, I’ll go wake Mummy up. She said she’ll take me and Xiaoliu out today!”

“That won’t do. Mummy is too tired. You guys can go out in the afternoon!”

It was a Saturday and Mo Suqing had originally planned to bring the kids to visit Leng Xiyao.

Mo Suqing had already called to tell her that they would be there in the afternoon instead.

The kids seemed to enjoy the lunch that Ye Zhongjue prepared and they even praised his cooking!

They then made their way to Leng Xiyao’s place after lunch.

After arriving, Ye Zhongjue pulled Mo Suqing close and gave her a kiss.

“What are you doing! The kids are watching!”

“I’ll miss you! Call me when you’re ready and I’ll come pick you up!”

An Yichen ran up to them when he spotted Mo Yanxi walk in.

Being alert, Ye Yanchen moved to place himself in front of his sister protectively.

Leng Xiyao smiled when she saw them. “You’re finally here, Suqing! I miss you so much!”

To her kids, Mo Suqing said, “Go play outside. I’ll be chatting with Godmum Yao!”

Ye Yanchen nodded at this.

After Mo Suqing and Leng Xiyao disappeared into the house, he looked at An Yichen. “An Yichen, stay away from Xiaoliu!”

“Ye Yanchen, Xiaoliu wants to be my friend too. Who are you to make decisions for her!”

“I’m her older brother so I’m filtering her friends for her. I’ll have to check through everyone, especially boyfriends. I can’t let her be duped by others!”

Annoyed, An Yichen turned to Mo Yanxi and said, “Xiaoliu! Welcome to our house. I know we saw each other at school yesterday, but I miss you already!”

This made Ye Yanchen fly into a rage.

“An Yichen, stop it! I’ve already told you that my sister wouldn’t marry someone like you. Look, you can’t even convince her brother!”

An Baobei answered right away, “Okay!”

However, he changed his mind upon seeing the other two about to have fun without him.

An Yichen was to be the groom, Mo Yanxi the bride, while Ye Yanchen took the role of the villain.

“Why am I the villain?” Ye Yanchen asked.

“You guys can’t get married because you’re her brother!” An Yichen answered with confidence.

Mo Suqing and Leng Xiyao walked out right at this moment and happened to hear their exchange.

What’s up with these kids?, the both of them wondered.

They lounged near the pool as they watched the kids.

The story was that the bride was kidnapped by a villain on the day she was supposed to get married, and the bride ended up getting beaten badly by the villain everyday.

The groom was then able to save the girl and marry her while the villain was punished eventually.

Mo Suqing laughed when she overheard the kids talking about the story. She looked at Leng Xiyao and said, “That’s the kindest villain in the world.
