Wednesday
I was right about mom having to stay home. She came home monday and is due to go back to work in two weeks.
Me and Alannah spend most time in Alannah's room playing with her toys and watching tv. We don't spend much time around mom except for dinner which is very awkward.
Jax came over yesterday and told me that mom wouldn't let him in on monday.
When my alarm rings at 8am I switch it off and get in the shower.
Once I get out of the shower I get dressed into a white t-shirt and light blue jeans. I then put on a black chunky cardagian before waking Alannah up.
Because mom has been here these past couple of days, we haven't been sleeping. Alannah gets a lot more sleep then me which makes me grateful. However I only get about 4 or 5 hours sleep.
Once Alannah's awake I pick her up and head downstairs. We get downstairs and I make us some breakfast.
We had avocado on toast and Alannah also had a banana. Once we finish I wash up our plates then head upstairs.
We go into the bathroom where I brush her teeth and clean her face.
Once we go back into her room I get her changed into some black leggings and an orange jumper. I get her changed and then make her bed.
We go into my room so I can make my bed. Once my bed is made she sits on my bed.
We go back into Alannah's room after I do my hair and I realised I forgot to do Alannah's hair. I brush her hair which was quite curly and leave it down.
"Should we get candy for trick or treaters today?" I ask and Alannah nods her head excitedly.
I smile and go into my room. I grab my bag and head downstairs. Mom was sat on the sofa so I quickly left.
Alannah skips over to the door of my car. I put her in her car seat and strap her in. I walk round to my car door and sit down in my seat.
I end the call from an unknown number that I constantly keep getting.
I connect my phone to the aux and put some music on. We then head shopping.

I place Alannah into a cart before going shopping. We head around the store picking up a few things. We headed straight to the candy isle where we pick up lots of candy for trick or treaters.
We came home and went straight into the kitchen. I put all of the candy into cupboards.
Once I pack all the candy away I make me and Alannah some lunch.
We had some mozzarella sticks and a few fries.
Once lunch was done we head upstairs to Alannah's room.
We played on the floor for a little while before it was nap time. I tuck her into bed and let her sleep.
15 minutes into her nap Jax rang me. I stand up and walk into my room to answer the call so I don't wake Alannah up.
"Hello" I say happily.
"Hey you, what are you up to?" He asks and I smile.
"Well Alannah is napping so nothing right this moment." I say.
"I'm going to come over later." He tells me and I smile.
"Okay" I say smiling.
"You know we should go out." He says and causing me to smile.
"Hmm maybe." I joke and he chuckles from the other side of the phone.
"What are you doing for Halloween?" He asks.
"I'm taking Alannah trick or treating then chilling with Nicole and David. What about you?" I ask and he laughs.
"I work on Halloween." He says and I groan.
"Unlucky." I say and he laughs.
"Tomorrow night I'll pick you up at 7 and----" He gets cut of by the sound of cries that I could hear.
I end the call right there and then and run into Alannah's room.
The sight was shocking. I never thought I would ever see what I just walked in on.
"All this is your fault." Mom says and punches Alannah.
I run over and push my mom out of the way and onto the floor. I pull Alannah into my chest as she sobs.
"You sick twisted bitch she's three and none of this is her fault!" I shout as my mom stands back up.
"Its all her fault everything!" She says and I push her out of Alannah's room.
I pack up the majority of Alannah's things into a suitcase and mine in another.
This was the one thing I didn't want to be true. Where would I go? What would I do now?
Alannah was sat on her bed sobbing and I sighed. I take her into my room so I can pack my things into yet another suitcase.
I take the suitcases on to the porch and then pick Alannah up and take her to my car. I strap her in when a car pulls up. I didn't take much notice of it till Jax climbed out.
"Lara what's going on?" Jax shouts and I roll my eyes. Not now, not right now.
I put the suitcases in my trunk and Jax stops me as I slam the trunk shut.
"Lara." He says firmly and I sigh.
"Where are you going?" He asks and I sigh.
"Jax I can't do this right now." I tell him walking back over to the porch.
"Gio watch her!" Jax shouts from behind me.
I grab a few more of Alannah's toys and stuffed animals and put them in a bag. I grab her beaker and my phone charger before heading out of the door.
"Lara!" Jax shouts putting his hand on my shoulders.
"Just go away Jax I don't want to talk to you." I say pushing him off me. I go back over to the trunk and put the bag in there.
"I'll go back to the car now." Gio says and I thank him for watching Alannah.
"Lara tell me what's going on." Jax demands and I roll my eyes.
"I don't want to tell you Jax just go away." I say pushing his shoulders.
Why won't he get it?
"Lara." He says firmly and I push him again.
"We can't do this okay. I need to be committed to Alannah all the time and if I was to like someone they would have to be committed to Alannah too. So no Jax I don't want to talk or anything with you anymore." I tell him. He looks between both my eyes trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
"Lara what happened?" He asks and I just shake my head.
"You rang me and I left the room to take your call." I say crying.
"What happened after?" He asks wiping my tears.
"Just stop Jax. I don't want you to wipe my tears or to kiss me or anything anymore." I say trying to push him away but he pins my shoulders to the car.
"What happened next?" He shouts.
"You know what happened next." I say crying. "Just go away Jax" I say and he releases his hands from my shoulder.
I get into my car and drive off straight away.
Alannah and I drove around for about an hour before I pulled in somewhere. I undid her straps of the car seat and pulled her closer to me.
"Its going to be okay bubba, we're getting away now." I say and she nods.
I wipe away some of her tears and sit her down in her car seat.
"Are you and Jax going go be okay?" She asks and I shake my head.
"Don't worry about that." I say stroking her back calmingly.

I strapped Alannah back in and headed to Nicole and David's house.
Once I get there I take Alannah in and settle her into the living room. Once I put the tv on I sit next to her and we cuddle.
"Can I see where she hurt you?" I ask pulling away from the hug.
She nods and sighs before pulling her top up to reveal her belly and her sleeve to reveal her arm. You could see the bruises forming which made me sigh.
"It's going to be okay, we won't ever go back there again." I tell and she nods. "It's just us now." I say kissing her forehead.
"I want James or Jax or Vanni too." She says and I sigh.
"I know you do." I say and hug her tightly. I sigh and we lie down.

"Lara are you here?" David shouts and I sigh.
"In here." I mumble and he walks into the living room.
"I didn't know you were coming over." He says and I shrug.
"Did something happen?" He asks and I nod.
I sit up and hold Alannah close to me as she was still in shock over what had happened.
"I caught her." I tell him wiping a tear that fell quickly.
"Oh my god." He says sitting beside us. "What happened?" He asks and I sigh.
"Alannah was having a nap when Jax called. I went into my room to talk to him then I could hear Alannah crying. I ended the call then ran into Alannah's room and I saw her punch her in the stomach. I pushed her away and she kept shouting about it being her fault. I packed all our stuff and left. I can't drive around anymore my mind is all over the place. I didn't know where to go so I just came here till I figured something out." I say and wipe another tear.
David pulls me into a hug.
"You're staying here Lara, you don't have anywhere to go so you can stay here. Both of you." He says and I smile slightly.
"Thank you." I say wiping a tear and he smiles.
David had told Nicole everything that happened. Which resulted in her rushing home to hug both me and Alannah tightly.
Alannah hadn't spoke much which was now a growing concern.
She didn't say anything since David or Nicole came home.
I know she craved male attention since James left. James was like a father figure for her and once he left it was just us two. That's why she adapted to Jax and Gio so fast.
"Alannah." I say and she looks up at me. "What's wrong?" I ask and as soon as I ask a tear falls from her eye.
"It hurts." She whispers and I take a deep breath. She hugs her self as her tear turns into a full on sob.
"Where?" I ask her and she points to her stomach. I lift her top up slightly to be met with a massive purple bruise.
"Jesus." I say covering my mouth with my hand in shock making her cry even more.
"Hey look at me." I say to her as her cries continue. "Its going to be okay." I attempt to calm her and her cries grow louder to the point Nicole and David rush in.
"Is she okay?" They ask ans I shrug my shoulders.
"I think I should take her to the hospital." I say standing and Nicole looks at me concerned.
"Its her ribs." I tell them, David nods agreeing with me.
I sit down beside Alannah and hold her hand.
"Alannah I need to make a promise with you." I say and she looks up at me.
"If you stop crying it will help you okay and if you stop crying I'll buy you ice cream and McDonald's." I tell and she nods her head.
I help her calm down which was very hard. Once I calm her down I carry her to my car. I place her into her car seat and she begins to scream and cry
"No mama it hurts!" She cries out.
"I'll drive in my car and you can sit with her then." David says walking out the car.
Nicole locks the front door then we head to the hospital in David's car.
When we get to the hospital it was quite busy.
I sit on a chair with Alannah on my lap. I hand her one of her toys which kept her occupied for the stupidly long wait.
"Right our cover story will be that she slipped getting into the bath. I tried to help her but my hands were slippery from the soap." I say and David and Nicole sigh before nodding.
"Alannah what happened?" I ask.
"Bath." She says and I nod and kiss her cheek.
We go into a room where I sit Alannah on my lap.
"What seems to be the problem?" The doctor asks.
"Alannah is in a lot of pain around her stomach area." I say and he nods.
"If you can lie her down on her bed and I'll have a look." The doctor says.
I look at David and Nicole and they nod. I lie Alannah down and then hold her hand as the doctor begins to examine her.
As soon as he checks her ribs she cries out in pain. He stops immediately and I look down at her.
"Its okay." I say and she continues to cry.
The doctor goes back over to his chair and I help Alannah up and calm her down.
Once Alannah calmed down I turn to the doctor who was talking to Nicole and David.
"I'm going to put her through for an x-ray on her ribs." He says and I nod.
"You can wait in the waiting room and I'll collect you when it's time." He says and I nod. We sit in the waiting room and wait for the doctor to get us.
We go in for an x-ray and I held Alannah's hand and reassured her the whole time that everything was going to be fine.
The doctor looked over the x-ray before turning to us.
"So Alannah has fractured her rib." He informs us.
"There is nothing we can really do about it. She's just going to need lots of rest and well some medicine can help with the pain." He says and I nod.
"Just make sure she takes it easy." He says and I nod picking Alannah up.
"Thank you." I say and we head out.
On the way home we got McDonald's which I tried to pay for but David just told me not to worry about it.
It was gone 8pm when we got back. Alannah was exhausted from all the crying she had been doing.
I take Alannah in and go back out before getting our suitcases. David helps me take them up to my room.
I put them down then sigh before sitting on my bed.
"I'll bring Alannah up." David tells me and I thank him.
As soon as he leaves my phone rings and I check the caller ID to see it was James.
"Mom told me what happened, I'm trying to get a flight home now." Be says and I sigh.
"James it's fine, you don't need to come home." I say exhausted as I lay back on my bed.
"Yes yes I do. Where's Jax?" He asks and I roll my eyes.
"I won't see Jax ever again." I say and he gasps.
"Why not?" He asks.
"Alannah wouldn't have a fractured rib if I left the room to take his call. I got distracted over something stupid. Plus I need someone who can give Alannah a lot of attention someone whose going to act like her father. Jax will not be able to do that." I say and he sighs.
"Your being selfish." He says. This time I'm the one to gasp.
"How am I being selfish?" I ask rolling my eyes.
"Look if anything you caught your mom so now Alannah is safe. Plus Jax would have given you his whole world. He really liked you and I was waiting to get back to see you to act like a couple." He says and I scoff.
"Maybe me but my world revolves around Alannah so no. I'm just saving myself the heartbreak." I say and James sighs again.
"I think Jax will be good for you." He says making me groan. Is he serious?
"Oh please." I say and he laughs.
"I'm serious Lara, from what I've heard. Your good for each other." He says and I roll my eyes.
From what he's heard? From what he's heard! I give up.
"Whatever I---"
"Theres a flight in 5 hours, I'll get on it." He cuts me off.
"James it's not necessary plus don't you have Halloween plans" I point out.
"Lara I need to see you guys." He pleads and I sigh.
"James honestly we'll be fine plus your coming home in a month, just wait it out." I say and he sighs.
"Fine but you need to call or text at least once a day." He says and I laugh. "
Whatever but I'm going to get Alannah ready for bed" I say.
We then exchange goodbyes before Alannah comes in.
I open her suitcase and pull out some pyjamas. I get her ready for bed before lying her on the bed whilst she watched sofia the first.
I packed away all our clothes and put the suitcases away.
Once I was finished I got ready for bed before joining Alannah in bed.
I switched the tv off and Alannah picked my arm up to cuddle it. She holds it close to her.
"I love you bubba." I reassure and she smiles.
"I love you too." She says and I kiss her cheek.
