Gio^^

Jax's POV

"What on earth are you doing?" Gio asks walking into the gym.

"Working out." I say and roll my eyes.

Duh.

"In a suit? Plus I wouldn't call it working out. I would say aggressively punching a punching bag." Gio comments and I roll my eyes.

"I'm not in the mood." I tell him and he sighs.

"You haven't been in the mood since everything went down with Lara and Alannah on Wednesday. It's now friday. Stop being a boring ass." Be says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm pissed off so leave me alone Gio." I say and continue punching.

"You've been pissed since we left Lara's, what even happened? You never told me." He asks and I sigh. I don't even understand fully.

"You wanna know huh?" I ask and throw one last punch.

"I rang Lara. Whilst me and Lara were on the phone their mother hit Alannah. So lara blamed me and told me she doesn't want to see me again." I say before grabbing a drink.

"Jesus." He says and I shrug my shoulders.

"She's been at the Miller's since so that's calmed my nerves." I admit and Gio sighs.

"Have you tried talking to her?" He asks and I roll my eyes. Tried? Yes. Have we actually talked? No.

"I rang her multiple times." I say before walking back over to the punching bag.

"Stop we have a meeting later and your gonna get a sweat on if you carry on." Gio says walking over to me. I roll my eyes and head upstairs and out to the back garden.

"I text Lara earlier." He admits and I turn around to look at him immediately.

"I asked her how she was doing." He tells me.

"Did she respond?" I ask and he nods

"She did." He says.

"Its nice to know she still has a phone then." I respond sarcastically as I sit down.

"What did she say?" I ask and he sighs

"She said she was okay and that Alannah misses us." He says and I smile slightly.

I hope Alannah is okay.

"But she doesn't though?" I ask as he sits down as well.

"You just need to give her time to cool down." Gio says and I sigh.

"Well if your pissed we can have a look and see if there are any hits that need completing." Gio says coming behind me.

"No I don't want to shoot anyone. I want to punch someone really really hard." I say and Gio sighs.

"Of course you do." He says under his breath.

"Look you and Lara weren't anything anyway so it shouldn't be hard to move on". Gio says and I raise an eyebrow in confusion.

He fucking better be joking. Lara was the first girl I've ever actually liked.

"We can go to a club." Gio says and I roll my eyes. I would rather not.

"No." I say and he sighs.

After bickering with Gio it was time to do a job. We get into Gio's car and head out to do the job.

After about 30 minutes we arrived in a poorer neighbourhood.

"That's it." Gio says pointing to a house and I nod.

We both get out of the car and make our way to the door. I knock twice before Joe opens the door.

"Joe." I say and he looks between me and Gio confused.

"You are..." He says and I turn to Gio and roll my eyes.

"We're here for the money." I say and he invites us in.

He goes over to a safe and opens it and puts the money out infront of us.

"And here's me hoping you would run." I say and he laughs. Gio counts the money and nods.

Boring.

"Let's go." Gio says and we leave.

"That was boring." I say as we walk back to Gio's car.

"I literally offered for us to do a hit and you straight up refused." He says rolling his eyes.

We get to the warehouse and everyone says hi to us as we walk through to my fathers office.

I knock on the door and wait for the familiar call. We head in and give dad his money.

"There's not much for you guys to do today except for the meeting we're having in ten minutes." Dad says and I nod.

We walk into the conference room and everyone stands. Me and Gio walk to our designated seats.

I sit on the left side of Dad with Gio to my left. Then Gio's dad sits on my dad's right. It's been this way since me and Gio had to start attending meetings. Then there was a long table going down the room for everyone to sit at.

There is also chairs all around the sides of the room for when we have bigger meetings.

Dad tells everyone to sit and that's what they do.

This conference room however is a lot smaller then the onces we have in our houses.

"So as you may know, there has been problems here for the past two months." Dad says and I sigh.

Dad hasn't told me yet what the problem was so here I am waiting.

"The Brazilian mafia is the problem." He says and gasps fill the room.

"I don't know why but I do know how we're going to stop it." Dad says regaining everyones attention.

"The right hand of the mafia apparently has a daughter here in New York. We need to find her. We're going to bring her here where we'll torture her and well stop the Brazilians like that." He says.

"His ex wife is still here in New York, its possible the daughter is in college or something. He's very smart there is no evidence he has a daughter except a photo of them when she was younger. He's deleted every single trace of her clearly for moments like this. I'll get the address for his ex wife and I'll send some of you over there to talk to her." He says standing up.

"Your now dismissed." Be says and us four walk out first.

"Meet me at my home office." He says.

When we get home we go straight to dads home office where he sits talking to Gio's dad.

"Boys sit." Dad says gesturing to the seats.

"Why didn't you tell us first?" I ask as we sit down.

"We're busy people I can't stop to tell you every five minutes what's going on." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Anyways when you boys take over we've decided to wait a couple of months before we move to Italy." He says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Woah hold up wait your moving back to Italy?" I ask and he nods.

"We're going to wait to see if you guys have the hang of it before actually leaving. But what's the point of us being here in New york otherwise? I'd much rather Italy plus all past generations have done it." He says and I nod.

"Okay." I say.

"We are going to spend Thanksgiving together with your mother's family in the Hamptons. We'll be there for a approximately four days. If nothing has happened with this girl by the tenth of November then I'll hold back because we can't be all thingy around your mothers family." Dad says causing me to roll my eyes and groan.

After talking with dad and Gio's dad I head up to my room where Gio follows.

"So?" Gio says and I raise an eyebrow.

"What?" I sigh sitting at my desk.

"So we're about to steal a Brazilian girl and I don't know beat her to a pulp but what if she doesn't know anything. Her dad lives in Brazil she lives here in New york haven't you thought that maybe she doesn't know her dad." Gio says and I look up at him.

"Well it's a risk we're going to have to take. Plus if he doesn't do anything we'll think of something else. But he looked happy when he was holding her." I say and Gio just sighs.

After about ten minutes in silence and me singing some papers Gio speaks up, "I can't believe our parents are moving away in April. How mad is that?" He asks and I laugh.

"We'll be completely parent free." He says and I laugh again.

"We'll be responsible adults." I say and Gio smiles.

"Exciting." He says making me chuckle.

"Thanksgiving in the Hamptons. Sounds fun." Gio says.

"My moms side of the family are boring but they just think we're all business people." I say.

"Well I am not wearing a suit." Gio says and I scoff.
