I woke up to a giggle, it wasn't loud but it was loud enough to wake me up. I sit up and switch it off.
Alannah had woken up and was playing with her toys on the floor. That was weird because she normally always wakes up.
"Manhä." I say to Alannah and she looks up at me.
"Yay you're awake!" She says standing up. She walks to the side of the bed where I then pick her up.
"How you feeling today?" I ask as she cuddles into my side.
"Lots better." She says and I smile.
I place my hand to her head to check if she still had a temperature. She didn't which made me happy that she was now feeling better.
Today we are still going to take it easy and make sure she recovers fully before doing anything else.
I carry Alannah downstairs whilst she played with my hair.
"Good morning." Nicole says as she sits in her seat at the dinning table.
I then walk to my seat and sit down before sitting Alannah in her seat. Nicole put a plate of dry toast in front of Alannah which Alannah toke a bite of before crying.
"What's wrong?" I ask rotating in my seat so I can look at her.
She continues to cry and not speak so I take her from her chair and put her in my lap.
When Alannah stopped crying she looks up at me and I move a tiny strand out of her face.
"What's up narna?" I ask as she rubs her eye with her fist.
"I don't like dry toast." She says and I nod. I don't either it's just the only food she can kinda really eat.
"I know but I don't want to risk you getting sick again." I say and she sighs.
"How about you have a plain pancake will that be better?" Nicole suggests and Alannah hypes up.
I smile and put Alannah back in her seat. Nicole took away Alannah's plate with dry toast and got a fresh plate.
She put a pancake on her plate which I then cut up small enough for her to eat.
Alannah finished the whole pancake and downed her juice and I just watched her with an eyebrow raised.
"You would not of guessed she hasn't been well." David says and I smile slightly.
Alannah stands up as I take a sip of my water. She leans over and kisses my cheek before climbing off the chair and running out of the dinning room.
"She's so lively, she reminds me of you." Nicole says and I laugh. Well, how I used to be.
"Do you want me to help you with the dishes?" I ask picking mine and Alannah's plate up.
"No sweetheart." She says taking my plates from me.
I smile and thank her before going to find Alannah.
I go into the living room and she was walking across the sofa just playing with some toys.
"What you doing?" I ask making her jump, she then giggles and runs over to my leg.
She hugs my leg and I get down and sit on the floor, where we then play with her toys.
Once David and Nicole were ready they came into the living room to watch Alannah so I could get ready.
I have a shower then once I get out of the shower I get dressed. I get dressed into some grey joggers and a black crop top. I brush my hair before putting it back into a messy bun.
I head downstairs and into the living room where Alannah is. She was sat inbetween Nicole and David playing with some toys.
Once I stepped foot in the living room her head snapped up to look at me. "Mommy." She calls and runs over to me then hugs my leg.
I pick her up and place her on my hip and then kiss her cheek. She then continued to giggle whilst putting her hand at the top of my head to touch my messy bun.
"Right let's go get ready shall we." I say and she nods her head.
We head up to our room. I pick out Alannah's outfit and then head in the bathroom.
I help Alannah brush her teeth and then clean her face. We go back into our room and I sit Alannah at my desk whilst I make the bed quickly.
Once I made the bed I get Alannah changed into some black leggings and her doc mcstuffins top. Once she was dressed we sit on my bed and I brush her hair.
After Alannah was ready James facetimes us. I answer the call and he looked like he had just woken up.
"Morning." I say and he yawns.
"Morning." He responds.
"Where's Alannah?" He asks and I hand Alannah the phone.
Whilst Alannah and James where on facetime I cleaned our room.
I picked Alannah's toys from the floor and put them away. I sat at my desk and cleaned up my makeup. Once I cleaned up my makeup I packed away some clothes and then Alannah called me over to her.
"Ten more days." Alannah says and I smile widely.
"I can't wait for you to come home James." Alannah says and he smiles.
"I can't wait to see my favourite girls." He says which makes Alannah giggle.
"We're gonna have so much fun." Alannah says putting her head on my shoulder.
"I'm excited." James says.
"How's Jax?" James asks and I smile.
"Jax is good." I say and James smile grows.
"Can't wait to beat him up." James says and I roll my eyes. So funny.
"Are you going to introduce him to me?" He asks and I laugh.
"You already know each other?" I say and he sighs.
"How's LA anyway, got a girlfriend yet?" I ask playfully and he rolls his eyes.
"You know me, I'm just waiting till we turn 27." He says and I laugh. "No I haven't got a girlfriend." He clarifies and I sigh.
"I wish you would hurry up and get a girlfriend." I say sighing.
After talking with James for a while we head downstairs.
"What are your plans for today?" Nicole asks as I sit on the sofa. Alannah runs off to play with her toys and I turn to Nicole.
"We're just chilling today to make sure Alannah is completely fine. What about you guys?" I ask and Nicole turns to David.
"We're going to my sisters, we won't be long though." Nicole says and I nod.
"Okay." I say and smile.
Once Nicole and David left Alannah ran around the living room. I told her to be careful but that didn't stop her. She grabbed her toys and then left the living room and begin to run through the house.
The doorbell rang and I walked from the kitchen where I was sipping a glass of water to the front door.
"Alannah." I shout just before I get to the front door.
I open the door to Jax and Alannah comes running to us.
"Jax!" She shouts running to him.
He picks her up and places her on his hip.
I bring him in to the house more so I can shut the door. Jax kisses Alannah's forehead and they then follow me into the kitchen.
I sit at the island and Jax follows in carrying Alannah.
"Afternoon." He says kissing my cheek.
"Afternoon." I repeat back to him whilst smiling up at him.
He puts Alannah down and sits on the stool beside me.
"You look cute." He says looking me up and down.
"Mama I'm hungry." Alannah says and I stand up and sit Alannah on a stool.
"Are you staying for lunch?" I ask Jax and he smiles and nods.
I walk round the other side of the island and stand there thinking what to make.
"I don't want to make something too much because I don't want you to get sick" .I say to Alannah and she nods.
"Sandwich." Alannah says and I decide to make grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.
After lunch I clean the dishes and head into the living room.
I sit beside Jax and he wraps his arm around me.
"Its weird to see you without Gio." I say and he chuckles.
It doesn't take long till Alannah convinces us to play with her.
Jax left the room to take a call and when he came back Alannah jumped up.
"What's wrong Jax you look upset?" She says and hugs his legs.
He picks her up and places her on his hip.
"I have to go back to work." Jax says and Alannah sighs.
"Tomorrow I'm going to take you guys somewhere okay." Jax says and Alannah nods her head fastly. He places a kiss on her cheek before turning to me.
"Is that okay?" He asks and I nod.
He leans down and then kisses me but moves Alannah out of the way so he doesn't squish her.
Alannah claps once we pull back which causes us to laugh.
We walk Jax to the door and when he opens the door Gio pulls up outside.
"I'll call you later." Jax says and kisses me again.
"Vanni!" Alannah shouts and Jax pulls back.
Gio got out of his car and walked over to us. He takes Alannah out of Jax's arms and hugs her.
"Jax is taking us out tomorrow." Alannah says excitedly.
"Can I come?" Gio asks Alannah and she nods her head.
"No." Jax moans and Gio looks at him upset. I try to hold back a laugh and look at the floor.
"Why?" Gio asks in a child like tone.
"We need to go come on Gio." He says and I take Alannah from Gio.
She puts her head in the crook of my neck signalling shes tired.
"Sweet dreams Alannah." Gio says kissing her temple.
Jax then also kisses her temple before kissing me again.
"I'll see you tomorrow." He says and I smile and wave them off.
I take Alannah up to my room and gently place her down on the bed. I grab my phone from the nightstand and put it in my pocket.
Whilst Alannah sleeps I go downstairs to clean up her mess from earlier.

I was sat on the sofa with Alannah when Nicole and David got home.
"Hey guys." I say as they walk into the living room.
"Hiya sweetheart." Nicole says and David just smiles at us.
"How was your day?" Nicole asks sitting down.
I was currently in the middle of braiding Alannah's hair and she was playing with some toys.
"Yeah it was good, Jax stopped by for a bit." I say and she smiles.
About 20 minutes after dinner I took Alannah upstairs to bath her.
I ran her a bath and put some bubbles in it. Once Alannah was in the bath and playing with the bubbles she started getting tired.
I took her out and dried her in her towel. I then get her changed into some pyjamas.
"I love you." She says once I tuck her into bed. I lean down and kiss her.
"I love you too." I say and she smiles and pulls away.
My phone started buzzing in my pocket and I took that as my que to leave.
"Hello." I say answering the call.
"Hi." Jax says from the other side of the phone. I then head into a guest room and sit on the bed.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Just wanted to check in, see how you are." He asks making me smile.
"I'm good, how was work today?" I ask gaining a sigh from Jax.
"It was boring, I can't wait to see you and Alannah tomorrow." He says making my smile grow.
"Me too but where are we going and what time shall we be ready?" I ask.
"I'm not telling you where we are going yet but make sure Alannah has a nap and I'll come get you at about 6ish." He says.
"Okay." I say.
I spoke to Jax on the phone for what felt like hours.
We were talking for ages and it felt nice. Around 11pm Jax said he'd call me back in about an hour. I took this as an opportunity to get ready for bed. I got into my pyjamas and then washed my face and brushed my teeth.
I got into bed beside Alannah and like promised Jax rang me back.
"Sorry, something came up." He admits and I smile.
"Its fine." I whisper.
"Why are you whispering?" He asks.
"I'm in my room and Alannah's asleep." I say continuing to whisper.
"Do you want me to say goodbye?" He asks and I shake my head even though he can't see me.
"I like talking to you, it makes it easier to not fall asleep." I say.
"I like talking to you too but you should most definitely go to sleep." He says and I sigh.
"You know I can't." I say.
"I know I know but you spend all day running around after Alannah on very little sleep." He says and I sigh.
"I could say the same to you mister." I say and he chuckles.
Around 4am we said goodnight. I put my phone on charge and lied in bed for a bit before eventually falling to sleep.
