When my alarm rings at 8am I jump up to switch it off. In the process of me doing that I woke Alannah up.
"Manhä." I say and she stands up and falls on me.
I laugh and roll over to drop her so she was lying down. I then begin to tickle her and there was then a knock on the door.
"Breakfast is done." Nicole says peeping her head in quickly and then heading back downstairs. I stand up and take Alannah's hand.
We head downstairs into the dinning room where we sit with David and Nicole.
"Have you got any plans today?" David asks.
"We're spending the whole day with Jax and Vanni." Alannah says jumping up from her seat.
"That sounds fun." Nicole says and Alannah then rambles on about how fun it'll be.
"Mama misses Jax at night time, they facetime all night." She says and I look at her confused. How did she know that?
"So this will be good for her." she says wrapping her arms around my neck. David starts laughing and Alannah kisses my cheek.
After breakfast we say goodbye to Nicole and David. I sit Alannah with my phone and she watched youtube whilst I washed the dishes from breakfast and then take Alannah upstairs.
I take her into the bathroom and help her brush her teeth and clean her face. I then go back into our room and get out some clothes for her to wear today.
Once I helped her get dressed, I brushed out her beautiful straight hair.
"Beautiful" I say kissing her and she
giggles.
I make the bed quickly and sit her on the bed with my phone and the TV on. I have a quick shower and then get dressed.
I get changed then sit at my desk and dry my hair and straighten it. Once I do that I do my makeup before I was finally ready.
"Jax text you." Alannah says handing me my phone.
I thank her and she goes back to watching something on the TV. I sit down at my desk to check my phone and clean my desk up.
Jax- Alannah's car seat is still in my car by the way. Can't wait to see you both X
Lara-okay and we can't wait either. Alannah is so excited X
After cleaning up my mess from getting ready I pick Alannah up and head downstairs.
I make sure I have everything in my bag. I then fill up Alannah's bottle for her and we sit and watch the tv whilst waiting for Jax and Gio.
The doorbell rings and Alannah jumps up instantly and runs over to the door.
"Be careful." I shout grabbing my bag and my phone.
I walk over to the door and Jax hands Alannah to Gio. He walks over and kisses me.
"You look beautiful." He says and I smile and look away from him.
"Let's go." Alannah says trying to jump around in Gio's arms.
Jax laughs and takes Alannah from Gio. We head out and Gio starts running to the car.
"I call shotgun." Gio shouts as I lock the front door.
"Gio let her sit in the front seat." Jax says putting Alannah in her car seat.
"Yeah Gio you can sit next to me!" Alannah says and he climbs in the back seat.
I get in the passenger seat of Jax's range rover. Seconds later Jax gets into the driver seat and we put our seatbelts on.
"You alright?" I ask urning around to Alannah and she nods.
"You got games?" She asks looking at Gio who is currently texting on his phone. I turn back in my seat and start laughing.
Jax was trying not to laugh but was making eye contact with Gio through the rear view mirror. Gio sighs and I hear Alannah start clapping.
I yawn and press my head against the window whilst we head down the highway. Alannah and Gio were playing games on Gio's phone and laughing.
Jax's hand on my thigh snapped my gaze away from the window as I turn to him.
"Are you okay?" He asks and I nod my head.
He glances at me quickly and gives me a sympathetic smile before turning back to the road.
He rubs his thumb on my thigh whilst continuing to drive.
"Where are we going?" I ask looking out the window.
"We're going for lunch now." Jax says and I nod.
We get to chick-fil-a and Gio starts freaking out. Literally freaking out.
"Oh my god. Yes. I'm so excited for this." He says as I take off my seatbelt.
I look over to Jax who was just laughing. I get out and go to help Alannah out of her car seat but she runs over to me and holds my hand. Jax then follows behind.
"Mama why is vanni so excited?" She says looking up at me as we walk across the road.
"I don't know bub." I say and she turns to look up at Jax to see if he knows.
"He just hasn't been here in a while." Jax says and she nods. Jax opens the door for us and we go and find a table.
Me and Alannah find a table to sit at as Gio couldn't wait and Jax was ordering our food.
"Muma Vanni is weird." She says as she plays a game on my phone.
I laugh and she looks up at me.
I move her hair out of her face and kiss her forehead. She stands up on her chair and wraps her arms around my neck and hugs me tightly.
"Aw that's cute." Jax says. I pull back slightly and kiss Alannah's forehead again and sit her down in her chair.
Gio didn't even wait a minute before he started eating his food. He was shoving his face with food and it was quite a scene.
"Vanni your silly." Alannah says picking up a fry.
He says something none of us can make out due to the amount of food he has in his mouth.
We all looked at him with shock and disgust as he tried to speak with his mouth full of food.
"He spoke with his mouth open that's two days without ice cream." Alannah says.
"Don't worry about him just eat your food." I say trying to get her to focus on her food.
"Your disgusting." Jax says to Gio as sauce falls out of his mouth.
"Piggy." Alannah says and we laugh.
"I feel like I'm getting ganged up on." Gio says with food still in his mouth.
"That's four days." Alannah says counting and Gio sighs.
"Seriously I'm so talking to your mother." Jax says and Gios face drops and we laugh.
"Its okay Vanni I still love you, but now you can't eat ice cream with me." Alannah says and tries to hug him over the table.
"Thank you Bella." Gio says and Alannah shakes her head.
"No it's Alannah not Bella silly." Alannah says which causes us all to laugh and Alannah looks at us confused.
"He called you beautiful in Italian because Jax and Gio are Italian." I say and her smile grows.
After lunch we got back into the car to head somewhere. Alannah was watching something on YouTube on my phone.
The car ride was silent except for the faint noise of what Alannah was watching and her giggles when she found something funny.
A squeeze to my thigh makes me hum in response. I then bring my attention from staring out of the window to look across at Jax.
"I asked if you were okay." He asks and I smile and nod.
"Jax where are we going?" Alannah asks hardly looking up from my phone.
"Its a surprise." Jax says and she nods and goes back to watching my phone.
"But we've been in this car for ages." Gio moans.
"Fifteen minutes is not that long." Jax says and Gio sighs.
"You asked to come along so behave." Jax says and I laugh and continue to look at the window.
"I'm bored." Gio moans and Jax sighs.
"Your acting worse then Alannah." I say looking at him though the rear view mirror .
"Half the time I feel like I have a child myself." Jax says and I laugh.
We pull into a parking lot of a carnival and the lights catch Alannah's attention straight away.
"Oh my god!" She squeals and I laugh. I get out and because Gio was sat behind me I see him first when I get out of the car.
"Are you going to go on any rides?" Gio asks looking over to the carnival.
"Probably not." I say and he pouts.
"Why not?" He asks and I smile and squeeze his cheeks.
"Because I haven't been to a carnival since my school did one ages ago. Since then I've basically become a mother and I would rather watch Alannah have fun." I say and Gio sighs.
Alannah grabs my hand and attempts to drag me to the carnival.
"Woah wait." I say getting her coat off of Jax. I put her coat on her and then she attempts to drag me to the carnival.
We get into the carnival and I hold Alannah's hand tightly to make sure I don't lose her. She points to a stuffed animal.
"Woah look how big that is!" She says and I smile and nod.
"You have to play a game to win it." I say and she pouts.
"Let's go on that." Gio says trying to pull my other arm.
"Ask Jax to go with you." I say and she sighs and goes over to Jax.
"What do you want to go on first?" I ask and she looks around. Jax comes by my side and holds my hand before bringing it up to his mouth and kissing it.
"We're going over there Alannah wants to go on that." I say and he nods.
"Gio wants me to go on a ride with him so I'll go after." He says and I nod. He leans down and picks Alannah up and places her on his side .
"Don't want to lose you know do we." He says kissing her cheek and she smiles.
After Alannah went on a few rides Gio really wanted to go on a ride. We then agreed that Alannah and I would watch them whilst they went on the roller coaster.
I had placed Alannah on my hip and we were talking about who we thought would scream more and we both agreed on Gio.
We were right Gio was screaming the whole time and it was hilarious. We could hear him screaming from all the way over here.
When they got off of the ride they made their way over to us. Both of their hair was messy and they looked wind swept.
"I think I'm deaf." Jax complains coming over and putting his arm around me.
"We could hear Gio screaming from here." Alannah says and Jax laughs.
"Can we go get some cotton candy" Alannah asks pointing to a cotton candy stand.
"Come on." Jax says picking her up.
"You can't keep picking her up, she needs to walk too." I say and he frowns at Alannah and puts her down. He holds her hand as we walk to the cotton candy stall.
"Let's go on the wheel." Alannah shouts pointing up at the ferris wheel as she eats her cotton candy.
"Yeah let's go!" Gio says holding her hand and running off so me and Jax follow.
We get on the ferris wheel and Alannah was looking out at everything. She was sat opposite me and next to Gio. Jax's hand didn't leave my thigh as I held Alannah's hand the whole way.
"Woah you can see our house from up here." Alannah says.
You couldn't, but I wasn't going to ruin that for her.
She was shoving cotton candy in her face whilst looking out the window.
"Guys look." She says pointing down.
"Woah." Jax says and she smiles.
We got to go round twice and Alannah was still fascinated. She found it so amazing and it warmed my heart seeing how happy she was.
We had been at the carnival for hours and Alannah had convinced Jax and Gio to try and win her a stuffed animal by playing one of the games.
We had watched them a few times before Jax finally wan her one.
She thanked Jax multiple times and squeezed the stuffed animal.
Gio came beside me and sighed which caught her attention.
"Its okay Vanni, I still love you." She says and hugs his leg.
He picks her up and we make our way back to the car. It was now currently 5:30pm. I helped Gio with Alannah's car seat before getting in the car.
"I say we go to a restaurant for dinner." Gio says as I slip into my seat.
"Yeah I'm hungry." Alannah says.
I quickly put my seatbelt on to see Jax staring at me.
"Hmm oh I don't mind." I say and he nods.
We get to a restaurant and get out. I go round to help Alannah out but Jax had already got her out. She holds my hand and then Gio's hand.
"Oh no how am I gonna hold Jax's hand." She says sadly whilst looking around.
"I'll hold your moms hand and it's like your holding mine and your moms hand then." Jax says holding my hand and she smiles.
We get assisted to a table where we then order food and drinks.
The restaurant wasn't a fancy restaurant but it wasn't as busy as a family restaurant.
"I had a fun day today thank you." Alannah says and Jax smiles.
"It's okay narna." He says and she smiles.
After we had our dinner Alannah was yawning and could hardly keep her eyes open. I put her in my lap and she started playing with my hair but it didn't take long till she fell to sleep.
We decided not to stay for dessert which Gio was not happy about. Jax offered to take Alannah from me as we stepped outside the restaurant. I know how she could be when she's asleep and told him not to worry.
She started shivering as she wasn't wearing her coat and the winter breeze had hit us. This made me hurry my speed to the car.
Once I had strapped Alannah in I got in the passenger seat. I put my seatbelt on and Jax put his hand in mine as we headed off.
I yawned and placed my head against the window.
"Early night tonight." Gio announces and I laugh at how childish he is some times.
Jax brings my hand up to his mouth and kisses it and Gio just awkwardly coughs.
"Your acting as if we're making out, chill out." I say and Jax laughs. It was just a kiss on the hand.
When I get to the house Jax gets Alannah and we head into the house after I say Goodnight quickly to Gio.
Nicole meets us at the front door and brings us in. I say a quick hello before we take Alannah upstairs. Jax gently places her on the bed and kisses her forehead.
"Thanks for tiring her out." I say and he laughs.
"It's alright." He says walking towards me and placing his arms around my waist.
"I'm going to miss you tonight." He says and I smile. Me too.
"I'm going to miss you too." I say and he leans down and kisses me.
Gio kept texting Jax telling him to hurry up because he's bored. This made us both laugh so I walked Jax back to the door.
"It was nice to see you Jax." Nicole says and he smiles and says the same thing back.
He kisses my forehead before heading out to the car. Once he gets into his car I wave one more time before heading back in. I talk to Nicole and David for a bit before heading upstairs.
I ran a bath for myself, then whilst that was running I got Alannah out of her clothes and into her pyjamas.
After I had the bath I had got ready for bed. It was only about 9pm so I wasnt tired yet.
I go to the kitchen to get a glass of water and sit at the island. Nicole walks into the kitchen with a glass and David follows behind her.
"How was your bath?" Nicole asks and I nod.
"Calming." I say and she smiles.
"Are you struggling to sleep again?" David asks standing opposite me.
I sigh and look down at my glass of water.
"Um kind off, but I haven't been able to sleep for a long time. You know with the whole thing that happened between my mom and Alannah." I admit and David sighs. Nicole comes and sits beside me and holds my hand.
"You're safe here." She says and I smile and nod.
"I know but I don't know what it is I just don't feel safe." I say and sigh.
"I know jax doesn't sleep much either. Do you just talk all night?" David asks and I nod.
"When I slept at Jax's the other night, it was the first time I got proper sleep in ages." I say and Nicole and David looked as if they were having a conversation with their eyes.
"Invite Jax over to stay the night." Nicole says and I look at her confused.
"You two can sleep in the guest bedroom." She says.
I look over to David and he just nods.
"I don't know." I say and David pulls his phone out of his pocket and walks out of the room. Nicole squeezes my hand and I smile at her.
"Just keep it down." She says and my eyes widen. "Oh no we won't um yeah." I say awkwardly and embarrassed as my cheeks go red.
Nicole starts laughing before she stands up. David walks in and takes Nicole's hand.
"He'll be here within the hour." He says and I nod.
I say Goodnight to Nicole and David as they head upstairs and I stay up, waiting for Jax.
