A week later, Wednesday 25th November.
My alarm rings at 8am and I roll over to be met with Jax's chest.
"Well good morning." I say and he chuckles.
"Wait what are you still doing here?" I ask sitting up.
"I have the next couple of days of remember." He says and I take a breath of relief and lie back down on his chest.
"What time are you leaving?" I ask.
"Around 2pm." He says and I nod.
A knock on the door gets our attention and Nicole peeks her head in.
"Will you be staying for breakfast today Jax?" She asks.
"Sure." He says and she smiles.
"Well whenever your ready come downstairs." Nicole says.
I stand up and put my hands out to get Jax out of bed. He puts his hands in mine and I attempt to get him out of bed.
After failing miserably at trying to get Jax out of bed he puts on a t-shirt and follows me into my room.
I walk over to Alannah who was still fast to sleep and begin to wake her up.
She sits up and rubs her eyes before moving closer to me. She wraps her arms around me before making eye contact with Jax.
"Jax." She shouts and runs over to him. He picks her up and hugs her before we head downstairs.
We get to the dinning room and Nicole and David were both ready for the day and sat having breakfast. Alannah insisted on sitting next to Jax so I sit next to Nicole.
"When I finish work I'll be picking James up from the airport." David says and Alannah claps her hands excitedly.
"Have you got plans for Thanksgiving?" Nicole asks Jax and he nods.
"I'm heading to the Hamptons to visit my moms family later on today." Jax says and she nods.
"When will we next see you Jax." Alannah says and pouts.
"Alannah eat your breakfast please." I ask and she nods and takes a mouthful of her food.
"I'll come and see you on Saturday." Jax says and she nods.
"Yay." She says and he smiles.
After breakfast Jax had to leave.
He leaves his clothes here now just because he sleeps here like every night. He picks his car keys up off of the unit by the door.
I give him a quick hug before he kisses me.
"Text me when your leaving and when you get there." I say and he nods.
He leans down to hug Alannah who was crying.
"I'm going to miss you." She says into his shoulder.
"I'm going to miss you too." He says and kisses her cheek.
"I'll facetime you whenever you want." Jax says and she smiles up at him and hugs him again.
The problem I'm facing right now is Alannah is already attached. She sees Jaxs everyday without a doubt so not being able to see him for 3 days has upset her.
"Come on now bub he has to head home." I say trying to pry Alannah away from him.
"I promise you can call or facetime me whenever and I'll answer." Jax says and she looks between us both.
She kisses his cheek before signalling for me to pick her up. I do so and she cries into my chest.
He kisses both of out cheeks before heading to his car.
"Say goodbye look." I say pointing to Jax whose about to get into his car.
"Bye Jax." She shouts and he waves at us.
Nicole and David had already left so it's just us. Nicole is extremely excited for James to come back home. She has been talking about it non stop for the past couple of days.
David is obviously happy for James to come home but unlike his wife he can contain his excitement.
I take Alannah upstairs and put her on our bed. I put Doc mcstuffins on and then have a quick shower.
I wash my hair today. I get out of the shower and then get dressed into some blue mom jeans and a long sleeve white top. I then blow dry and straighten my hair.
I take Alannah into the bathroom where I brush her teeth and wash her face. I take her back into our room and get her changed into some yellow leggings and a top with bananas on. I make the bed quickly.
Once I had sorted Alannah out I sit her on the bed for her to watch some tv. I go into the guest bedroom and take Jax's things out of there. I take them into my room and put them in an empty draw.
I don't think Grandma Dee would appreciate finding random ties and shirts around the guest bedroom.
After cleaning our room me and Alannah head downstairs.
I cleaned up a bit in the living room as it wasnt really that messy.
Alannah had sat and was playing with some of her toys.
Come lunch time me and Alannah head into the kitchen. I make us lunch and sit at the table whilst she tells me how excited she is to see James.

The whole day flew by and right now I was helping Nicole with dinner.
Alannah was sat on the opposite side of the island on facetime to Jax. Jax hasn't long been at his aunties house but Alannah wanted to talk to him so he facetimed her.
"Where's my favourite girls?" James shouts as he walks through the front door.
I immediately stop what I was doing and run to him.
"James." I shout and hug him tightly.
He hugs me back just as tightly and it's in this moment that I realise how much I missed him.
I pulled back from the hug and James wipes my tears.
"I didn't know you missed me that much." He says and I smile.
"Sorry can I?" Nicole asks trying to hug James.
"Sorry." I say moving out of the way.
"Alannah!" I call and then realise shes sat on a stool and probably can't get down.
I walk into the kitchen to see she was still on facetime to Jax.
"Mama, I can't get down." She tells me and I laugh slightly.
"Alright I'll talk to you later, go and talk to James." Jax says and she nods and says goodbye and ends the call before I can say anything.
I help her down off of the stool as James enters the kitchen. She jumps into James arms and hugs him as tight as she possibly could.
"I've missed you." He says and kisses her cheek.
"Me too James me too." She repeats and he smiles.
"It feels good to be home." He say looking around the kitchen.
This was the first time I could actually look at James.
His blonde hair was exactly the same. He was wearing a grey sports hoodie with some black sweatpants. He looks just as tall and towers over me, like always.
"Why don't you take your stuff up to your room and unpack whilst we prepare dinner." Nicole says and he nods.
I quickly grab my phone to let him know I've hid some of Alannah's presents in his wardrobe. I give Alannah my phone and she plays some games whilst we make dinner.
Once dinner was done we sit in the dining room.
Nicole opposite me and James opposite Alannah with David at the head of the table. I cut up Alannah's food for her and she begins to eat.
"James tell us about college." David says before taking a sip of his wine.
"Its good, I'm not failing or anything if that's what your worrying about." James says playfully.
"Is everything alright with your apartment?" Nicole asks and he nods.
"Everything is fine, you should stop worrying." He says and she frowns.
"I'll always worry about you, your my baby." Nicole says.
After dinner I help Nicole with the dishes. Once we're finished we go into the living room.
Alannah was sat with James whilst colouring. I walk in and sit beside James and he puts his arm around my shoulder.
"I'm gonna see Jax at some point right?" He asks and I nod.
"He's gone to visit some family but he'll be home friday evening. You'll see him on Saturday." I say and he nods.
"Can I facetime Jax before bed?" Alannah asks and I nod.

7pm rolled around a lost faster then intended. I take Alannah upstairs and run her a bath.
Once Alannah had a bath I get her changed into her pyjamas and she facetimes Jax off of my phone.
"Jax." she squeals into the phone.
"Hi narna, what's up?" He asks and she yawns.
"Mommy let me ring you before I go to bed." She tells him with the widest smile on her face.
"Wow I'm so happy I get to talk to you before bed." He says and she smiles.
"I miss you already." She says pouting slightly.
"I miss you too, I'll be there on Saturday as long as it doesn't interfere with your plans." Jax says.
"Its fine I'm sure James and Mommy won't mind." She says with a smile.
"Alright but you should get some sleep now for all the food your going to eat tomorrow." Jax says and she laughs.
"Goodnight Jax I love you." She says and kisses the screen.
"I love you to Alannah , Goodnight." Be says and she smiles and hands the phone back to me.
"I'll facetime you later." I say and he nods.
He ends the call and I turn my focus back to Alannah.
I tuck her in and kiss her forehead.
"I love you Narna." I say as she yawns and closes her eyes.
"I love you too." She says and I switch on the lamp.
I make my way out of the room and switch the light off. I shut the door and bump into James.
"Late night drive?" He questions and I laugh.
"You know it." I say and he laughs.
We get into James's old car and he drives us around for about 2 hours while we catch up.
Even though we spoke every single day it was still nice to have a proper conversation here with him.
"Yep I'm meeting his parents on Tuesday." I say before taking a lick of my ice cream.
"Jesus you guys are moving quite fast." He says and I nod.
"Yeah but it sort of has to. Your dad invites Jax over like every night just to make sure I sleep." I say and James laughs.
"Have you argued yet?" He asks and I shake my head whilst eating my ice cream.
We are currently sat in the McDonald's car park eating ice cream like we did in high school.
"Have you got a girlfriend yet " I ask and he shakes his head.
"I'm too busy." He says and I roll my eyes.
"You can never be too busy." I say and he shrugs. James then hands me my phone that's ringing.
I check the caller ID to see its Jax before answering.
"Hey what's up?" I answer.
"Nothing I just wanted to talk." He admits. That's sweet.
"I'm out with James at the moment, can I call you when I go to bed?" I ask.
"Yeah sure but where's Alannah isn't she supposed to be asleep?" He asks.
"She is at home asleep. Nicole and David are there, I'm just catching up with James." I tell him.
"Oh, are you having fun?" He asks
I look over at James whose got ice cream on his nose and I start laughing.
"How the---" James cuts me off by pointing to my phone to show me I'm still on the phone to Jax.
"I've uh gotta go, I promise I'll call you later. I'm just catching up with James right now. Is that okay?" I ask.
"Yeah that's okay. Have fun. I miss you." He says.
I smile before ending the call and putting my phone down.
"How have you got ice cream on your nose?" I laugh and he just shrugs and laughs.
"What did Jax want?" He asks.
"To talk but I'll just talk to him later." I say and James smiles.
"I've missed being here with you." He says and I nod.
"Me too." I say and he smiles.
We drive back home blasting music and singing to it.
James and I used to do this whenever one or the other was sad or stressed. It helps so much and I have missed it.
We get home and head up to our rooms and get ready for bed. I then facetime Jax, like promised.
