Jax's POV
My alarm rings and it was almost 6am. I quickly switch it off not wanting to wake Lara up.
"Are you getting up now?" Lara asks. I turn to her and she was rubbing her eyes. There goes not trying to wake her up.
"Yeah I'm meeting Gio at the gym in ten minutes." I say and she nods.
"How are you feeling?" I ask pushing some hair out of her face.
"I'm okay." She says sitting up.
"Do you want me to get you anything?" I ask and she shakes her head.
Lara and I had sex last night for the first time and it was the best I've ever had and it was only her first time.
"No thank you." She says. I kiss her forehead then get out of bed and get changed into my gym clothes.
"I'll be back in about an hour and a half. Try and go back to sleep." I say and she nods.
I head down to the gym where I meet Gio every morning.
Gio wasn't here yet so I just grabbed a bottle of water and sat on the bench waiting for him.
Gio strolls in and sits beside me.
"Morning." He says yawning.
"Late night?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Yep." He says and I stand up.
We head over to the treadmill where we always start of our mornings.
"You're in a better mood what happened to you?" Gio asks and I roll my eyes.
"None of your business." I snap and he looks at me shocked.
"Oh my god, you guys had sex." He says and I roll my eyes.
"You're never this happy after you get laid." He says and I roll my eyes.
"Gio I don't want to talk about my sex life with you." I tell him.
"Since when, you're always bragging about your sex life." He says and I sigh. Not anymore.
"It's different with Lara. I want it to be private." I tell him and Gio rolls his eyes.
"Do you love her?" He asks and I turn to him.
"What? No." I say looking at him shocked.
"I think you might do." He says and I look at him confused.
I need him to tell me that what I feel for Lara is either attraction or love. Because my lines have blurred.
"Why?" I ask glancing at him.
Gio hits the stop button on the treadmill then stands there.
"Everything about you has changed for the better since you've been with her." He says and I continue running but roll my eyes. He's actually pulling out the better man card.
"You haven't been a man whore, you haven't got drunk in ages. You're softer." He says.
"That has nothing to do with being in love with her." I say.
"He's right you know." My mom's voice calls out as she steps into the gym.
I press stop on the treadmill and then step off of the treadmill.
"Sweetheart there's nothing wrong with being in love." Mom says and I run my hand through my hair.
"How do I know?" I ask looking at the floor.
"Think about these questions okay." Mom says and I nod. Fucking hell, this is really happening.
"Is she your first and last thought of the day? Do you see her in your future? Is there anything you wouldn't do for her? I'm not gonna list a bunch of questions for you but just think about them sweetheart. There's nothing wrong with being in love." She says kissing my forehead.
"I'm part of a mafia mom." I say and she laughs.
"Sweetie your dad was way worse then you and I have him wrapped around my little finger and you don't see being in love affecting him." She says. I nod and then sit on the bench as mom leaves.
Gio smiles at me then gets back on the treadmill.
Since dating Lara, her and Alannah are like the only thing things I think about. They're constantly on my mind, what they're doing all things like that. I haven't found anybody else nearly as attractive as Lara. To me she is so beautiful that nobody else could compete with her. She has the most kindest heart, I have never seen a women with as much of a kind heart as Lara's.
There's not a single thing I wouldn't do for her at all. Hell I'd kill anyone and everyone she ever wanted me to. I know she hates it when I spend my money on her but that goes to show she isn't like everyone else.
I want Lara and Alannah in my future. I want them around me all the time. They're the most selfless and caring people I have ever met.
Fuck I am going soppy.
Fuck that I think I might actually love her.
How is that even possible it's been two months. Isn't that to short.
"Shit." I breathe out causing Gio to laugh.
"You were right. There's no body else I want to be with. Fuck sake." I say standing up and pacing round.
"You should tell her how you feel." Gio says walking over to me.
"Infact I've got a perfect idea." Gio says and I raise an eyebrow.
"I'm going to get some Rose's okay whilst you finish your work out." Gio says and I nod.
Just when I finish working out Gio comes running into the gym.
"Here you are." He says handing me a bouquet of Rose's. I thank him and then head upstairs to my room. Just as I start to head up the stairs in the foyer my dad calls me into his office.
No.
"What's up?" I ask putting the Rose's down.
"I uh spoke with your mom earlier." He says and I look at him confused. I would hope so, they're married. I signal for him to keep going on but he just takes a deep breath.
"She told me about what you to had just spoken about." Be says and I run my hand through my hair.
"I then watched the footage from in the gym." He says and I sit in a chair.
Oh fucking hell I don't need this from him.
"I think shes good for you. We all like the person you've become for her." Dad says. "Love can be a weakness, but only if you let it." He says then takes a sip of his coffee.
"But behind every great man is a greater women." He tells me and I just nod.
"So take the morning off, go out, have breakfast I don't care what you do as long as you're at the warehouse by 1pm." Be says and I nod.
"Now get out of my office and if I have to do this soppy shit with you again I will personally rip out my voice box." He says and I laugh and thank him.
"Oh and you're doing a hit later." He calls after me as I leave his office.
I check in Alannah's room to see she was still fast asleep.
I then went into my room where Lara was asleep on my side of the bed.
I put the Rose's on the other pillow and kiss her forehead before heading in for a shower.
I had been in the shower for a solid ten minutes when I felt some hands on my shoulder. I grab them and pin them against the wall when I see it was Lara.
"Shit sorry." I apologise.
"It's okay I shouldn't have snuck up on you." She says smiling up at me.
I glance down at her to see her also naked.
"Uh uh eyes up here." She says gaining my attention. I just laugh and meet her eyes.
"Can't help when you're this beautiful and fully naked infront of me." I say and she blushes.
I put my hands on her cheeks and feel how warm they are under my palms.
"You're so cute." I say and she blushes harder.
She leans up to peck my lips but I quickly take the opportunity to deepen the kiss.
I let my arms drop down her bare back. Her arms go behind my neck and she starts to play with my hair.
We were so caught up in making out then when we ended up right under the shower head it made Lara squirm.
She then moves out of the way and I laugh.
"Thank you for the Roses." She says and I lean down and kiss her.
"Anything for you." I say and she smiles and me but it doesn't last long.
"Are you okay?" I ask and she nods.
"Are you sure? You know what lets go back to bed and chill. I don't have to be at work till one today." I say and she nods.
I take her hand then lead her out of the shower.
We brush our teeth then I put some joggers on and get into bed.
I watch as Lara walks into my closet in a towel. She had a like some jeans and jumpers in there but mainly pyjamas.
She goes behind the rack of suits and I furrow my eyebrows.
"Babe." I call and she walks out in one of my gym t-shirts.
"Fuck." I mutter as she comes and gets back into bed.
She rests her head on my shoulder. She picks up the bouquet of Rose's and brings them to her nose.
"Why did you get them for me? She asks curiously.
"To say thank you, for last night. I'm sure you're in pain and I wanted you to know you mean a lot to me." I admit and she blushes.
"Also I need to tell you something." I start and she puts the Rose's on the night stand and looks up at me.
"What's up?" She asks.
I put my hand on her cheek.
"I--"
"Manha!" Alannah shouts barging into our room.
No!
"Morning bub." Lara says.
"Mattina." I say picking her up from the floor. She then wiggles her way inbetween us.
So much for that moment.
"Did you sleep okay?" Lara asks and Alannah cuddles into Lara's chest.
"I slept good." She says smiling.
"How do you feel about going out for breakfast?" I ask and Alannah nods her head excitedly.
"Pancakes." She squeals making us laugh.
"Is Gio coming with us?" Alannah asks.
"Nope we're gonna spend time together just the three of us." I say.
Lara was smiling into the distance so I picked her hand up and kissed it. She turned to me and smiled.
"Well what are you waiting for we need to get ready." Alannah says jumping up.
"Alright alright calm down." Lara says getting out of bed.
I hadn't really taken into consideration how amazing Lara looked in my t-shirt except for right now. The grey t-shirt came down to about an inch or two above her knee. It also made her look like she had no shape. But she looked really sexy.
When Lara and Alannah head into Alannahs room I get out of bed. I examined the bed sheets. With black bed sheets it's really hard to find the blood. With it being Lara's first time last night there was bound to be blood here. I finally notice it then cover it up because I don't want Lara to see it and get embarrassed.
I get changed into some jeans and a black hoodie before going into Alannah's room.
Lara was making the bed and Alannah ran over to me so I picked her up.
"I'm just going to get ready." Lara says.
I lean down and kiss her cheek. She then heads into my room and gets ready.
After about twenty minutes me and Alannah go back into my room. But Lara wasn't in here.
"Mama." Alannah calls and Lara walks out of the bathroom.
She was blue jeans with a cream coloured top tucked into her jeans. She then had on a black coat with a pinky nude colour scarf on. She had also had some makeup on and yet again looked beautiful. Even though she doesn't need makeup to look beautiful.
"You look beautiful." I say kissing her cheek and she smiles and thanks me.
After Lara wrapped Alannah up so she was no longer cold we headed out to the car and went to this cafe Alannah wanted to go to.
Once we arrived I held Alannah's hand and we headed into the cafè. We get seated at a table.
"So we know you're having pancakes." I say to Alannah and she nods excitedly.
"But what about you?" I ask Lara who was playing with her bracelet nervously.
"I'll just have a cinnamon roll." She says and I nod.
After we had our food Alannah wanted to go to the park which we then did. It didn't last long as we were all freezing. We got back into my car and I drove them home.
Lara has been acting quite weird and I don't know why.
When we got to the Miller house I turned the engine off then turned to Lara.
"Are your sure you're okay? Your not in any pain or anything?" I ask and she smiles and squeezes my hand.
"Jax I'm fine I'm just tired." She says and I nod.
"Get some sleep." I say and she laughs.
"I'll see you later." She says climbing out of the car.
I get out of the car and carry Alannah from the car to the living room. I place her on the sofa and say goodbye to them both before going to leave to get ready for work.
