A couple of months later. Sunday 21st June.
Life. Life is a funny thing. A couple of months ago my life changed drastically. I live inbetween LA and Brazil. I have my own apartment in LA now that I live in with Alannah. Carter is moving in for his final year as he already was renting with friends when me and Alannah moved to La in mid February.
I'm so grateful for everything that has happened to me these past couple of months. But I wish it would calm down a bit.
We travel in private jets. We have massive rooms. Our own apartment. My dad and Claudia buy us top of the closet stuff and I don't even have to raise a finger. They puts thousands of dollars in my account. I am so grateful I really am but that's not the point.
I turn to my right to see Alannah propped up on her knees staring out the window whilst cuddling with a stuffed animal Carter got for her.
I look at her yellow checked jumpsuit and smile. I brush my fingers through her dark brown hair causing her to look up at me. She attacks my face with her stuffed animal and let's out some soft giggles. I gently tickle her which causes her to let out some laughs.
When I stop she sits up properly and starts to play with some of her toys.
One of our air hostesses walk over to me with a warm smile.
"We'll be landing soon Miss Fernandez." She announces and I smile.
"Thank you." I say and she nods before leaving.
It was about twenty more minutes before we landed.
Alannah and I packed up Alannah's toys before she quickly rushed off of the plane.
"Alannah slow down!" I shout and smile at the staff as I walk off of the plane.
"Carter!" Alannah screams.
I take a step out of the plane to see Carter there on the phone and he was with my driver Mario.
"They just landed. See you soon." Carter says and ends the call to pick Alannah up.
"Its nice to see you again Miss Fernandez." Mario says and I roll my eyes playfully.
"Its Lara." I tell him for the millionth time and he smiles and heads to get our luggage.
Carter then hugs me with his free arm.
"Its been so quiet without you two." He says and I smile.
"Its nice to see you too Carter." I say as he kisses my cheek.
Alannah and Carter were sat in the back of the SUV.
Whereas I was sat in the passenger seat.
"How was LA?" Carter asks curiously whilst handing Alannah his phone to watch youtube on.
"It was good, lots of fun." I say smiling and Carter nods.
"Well we've all been extremely busy but we all missed you like mad." Carter says and I smile softly.
These guys are so amazing to me it makes me sad that I haven't had them in my life for that long.
I get out of the car and Carter beats me to helping Alannah out.
"Stop trying to take my role Rodriguez." I say and he raises his eyebrows.
"Its my role I'm a male." He says and I scoff.
"Are we living in the 20s?" I ask and stroll into the massive house I now live in.
"Lara!" Claudia shouts as I step into the foyer.
"Claudia hey." I say as she brings me into a hug.
"Where's Alannah?" She asks pulling back.
"Right here." Carter says walking through the door with her in his arms.
She goes from Carters arms to Claudia's arms.
It's amazing how Alannah has opened up these past couple of months. It took a little while but shes close with almost everyone now. She calls dad her grandpa but in Portuguese which makes him happy.
"Vovô!" Alannah shouts when she sees dad. Claudia gives Alannah to dad whilst I follow Carter into the lounge.
"Welcome back." Marco says giving me a slight hug before heading off somewhere. Dad and Claudia walk into the lounge with Arabella.
"How was your flight?" Dad asks and I nod whilst giving Alannah her toys.
"You best have a good explanation for dragging me from LA ten days early." I say and Carter scoffs as he slouched down beside Alannah. But that caused him to get a slap on the back of his head from his mother.
"Its a yearly thing. On the first friday of July we have this sort of ball. We need you here for it. We need to talk to you about a few things." He says but gets cut of by Carters laughing. Which earned him another slap on the back of his head from his mother.
"We also need to get you both measured and prepped for the ball." He says and I furrow my eyebrows.
A ball? I feel like I'm in a Disney movie.
"Well okay then." I say confused.
"We'll talk to you tomorrow we actually have business to handle today but tomorrow." Dad says and I nod. Carter stands up and straightens out his suit.
"I'll see you later girls." He says before kissing all of our cheeks and heading out.
"I think we're going to freshen up then we'll meet you back down here." I say and they both nod.
I take Alannah's hand and we head up to my room.
I take my makeup off and wash my face. "Mama." Alannah says as I come out of our joint bathroom.
"What's up?" I ask looking at her sat on my bed watching YouTube.
"Its nearly my birthday." She says and I nod and sit beside her.
My baby turns four.
"Are you excited?" I ask and she nods her head excitedly.
"I've already got you some presents. You're going to have the best birthday ever." I say and she smiles and hugs me.
"Thank you Mama." She says and I nod and kiss her forehead.
After unpacking Alannah's stuff in her room we head back downstairs.
Claudia and Arabella were sat in the garden talking so we joined them outside.
"Hey girls." They say smiling at us.
"Mama can I play?" Alannah asks and I nod. "Of course you can. Just be careful by the pool." I say and she nods and runs off.
I sit down beside them and we watch Alannah run around the garden with one of the many garden toys dad got for her.
"She's so beautiful." Claudia says.
"And full of life." Arabella says in her british accent making me smile.
"For someone so young you brought her up so amazingly, theres no faults." Claudia says and I smile.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." I say smiling.
"You never told me about London." I say to Arabella as we look over at Alannah.
"Its beautiful, not as beautiful as Brazil. I definitely miss it there but I Iove Marco and it's a sacrifice I have to make." She says and I smile.
"Mommy." Alannah says running up to me.
"Hey bub what's up?" I ask sitting her on my life and giving her a drink.
"Will you come and play with me?" She asks and I nod.
"Of course I will but just calm down for a minute it's still quite warm out." I say and she nods.
Once Alannah calms down she takes my hand and takes me to the garden and taps my arm before running off.
"You're it!" She shouts as she gets further and further away. I count to five slowly before running behind her.
Her and Carter come out here most evenings when its calmed down and run away. Its evident that shes getting loads better at running.
She looks behind at me and giggles as I was basically behind her but she turns a quickly and runs in another direction. I laugh softly before running after her again.
Once I catch up to her I pick her up and spin around before we lie down on the floor laughing.

We were playing for hours and it had started to get darker. It wasn't that much darker but it was darker.
"Girls dinner!" Dad shouts and Alannah jumps up and we head inside.
We sit in the dining room in our normal seats. Marco and Dad sit on opposite sides of the table with their wives on the left side if dad. Me and Carter sit next to our dads with Alannah in the middle of us.
"So how has the rest of your evening been?" Dad asks and I nod.
"We've had lots of fun Vovô." Alannah says and he smiles.
"Im glad." He says and she smiles.
After dinner we sat and spoke for a while whilst Carter stole Alannah from the dinner table.
He does this most of the time because he knows it's her bed time and he wants to have fun.
"Carter." I warn but him and Alannah run off laughing.
"Its good to know he's good with kids right Marco." Arabella says and I scoff.
"More like a pain in the ass." I say and she laughs softly.
Carter and Alannah came back in about twenty minutes later and Alannah had chocolate around her mouth. I glare at Carter earning a whole hearted laugh from him.
"So Alannah what do you want for your birthday?" Dad asks as I wipe away the chocolate from Alannah's mouth with a napkin.
"I want to see or talk to Jax." She says and I just freeze.
Since we've left New York Alannah has hardly spoke about Jax since I told her we broke up. I know she misses him but she knows theres nothing we can do about it. We live In a diffrent country 6 months a year and we live in a diffrent state for the other six months.
"Lara!" Carter shouts and I blink and look around before putting the napkin down.
"Sorry." I say and clear my throat.
"You know you can't see him bub. We're not going back to New York anytime soon." I say and she sighs.
"I'll think about it." I say and she smiles softly and nods.
"Anyway we should probably head to bed." I say and everyone smiles at us and wishes us a Goodnight.
We head up to Alannah's room where I pick out some pyjamas whilst I run her a bubble bath.
After Alannah's bubble bath I get her into her pyjamas and brush her teeth with her. She mainly does it but I help out from time to time.
I tuck her into bed and turn on her night light that Dad got for her.
I kiss her forehead and I hold her hand. Alannah crawls into bed beside me most nights but she still falls to sleep in her room. I hold her hand until she falls asleep, every single night.
"Mom." She says opening her eyes and looking at me.
"Yeah bub." I say and she sighs.
"I miss him." She says and I smile at her sympathetically.
"I know." I say and stand up.
I walk over to Alannah's purple canopy that has all of her stuffed animals in. I find her favourite one that Jax got her.
I walk back to her side and put the stuffed animal there.
"He misses you too." I tell her and kiss her forehead and wait for her to fall to sleep.
I head back into my room through the connected door. I sit down at my window seat and look out the window. I have a view of the garden and it's so beautiful.
"Hey." Carter says and I turn my head slightly to see him. I smile softly at him before looking back out the window.
"Are you okay?" He asks sitting opposite me on my window chair.
"I'm fine." I say smiling again but looking out the window.
"Jax is a prick you know. Now you don't have to see him again." He says and I nod.
"How did you sleep whilst in La?" He asks and I shrug.
I feel like every single man in my life is obsessed with my sleep routine. I just don't get why.
"Between my nightmares and Alannah's I'm used to hardly getting any sleep." I say and he kisses my forehead.
"Go to bed Lara. You need the sleep. I have one final late night meeting but I'll come and check on you after." He says straightening out his suit. He kisses my forehead again and gives my hand a squeeze before leaving.
I head into the bathroom and got ready for bed. Once I had brushed my teeth and washed my face I get into my pyjamas. I put my hair into a messy bun then sit at the foot of my bed looking into the mirror on my vanity unit.
My room was beautifully designed when I was in LA in February.
Alannah and I actually flew to New York and stayed with Nicole and David for the night before driving to LA. It's an extremely long drive, I think it took us nearly three days to get there but we did have to stop several million times.
My room was mainly white. I had a grey rug and my decorative pillows on my bed and on my window chair. I also am supposed to have a grey throw at the bottom of my bed but it's on my window seat now. It's quite plain but I like it.
"You, missy, are supposed to be asleep." Carter says walking back into my room. I look up to see him stood there still in his suit.
"I can't sleep." I say and he sighs.
He switches off my bedroom light and takes his shoes off before getting into bed beside me. He puts his arm around me and I put my head on his chest.
"Get some sleep Lara." He says and it took me a little while but I eventually fell to sleep.
