Lara's pov
I sat in Alannah's room on two chairs with Amara who was petrified of what might happen.
Me on the other hand, I was eager to get out there. I wanted to face Dmitri and I wanted to get him back for what he had done.
"I'm going out there." I say standing up.
"What no you can't." Amara says as I walk back into Jax's room.
"Yes I can." I say going behind one of the pictures and taking out a gun and the bullets. I put the bullets on the bed.
"Lara no you can't." She says and I check the bullets in the gun.
"I'll be back, I'm just going to check out the scene. You'll stay with Alannah right?" I ask and she nods.
"Be safe, please." She says and I nod.
"Of course." I say and she gives me the tightest before heading to Alannah's room.
I stand by the door to Jax's room and take a deep breath. I put the gun infront of me aiming it infront incase I bump into people straight away.
I open the door and walk down the hall, no one had gotten up here yet clearly as all the fighting was going on downstairs. It still blew my mind that Alannah hadn't woken up yet.
I made my way down the stairs and around the house looking for Dmitri. He was here I know he was I could feel it.
I walked around eagerly trying to find him.
"Ah look who we have here." Someone says once I make my way down the hall.
I look around and see a group of four men making their way towards me.
"Lara Fernandez, the now only heir to the Brazilian mafia." Another one of them says.
"When we take you to Dmitri I'm sure he'll be thrilled to kill off the Brazilian mafia once and for all." Another says.
I shoot one of their knees another one of their shoulders before shooting them all in the head killing them. I take a breath of relief and shoot a few more men that were heading my way.
Due to the noise I was making by killing quite a few people it kept attracting more and more people.
"Alright tell me how the hell there are swarms of dead bodies around you and why you aren't in Jax's room." Rocco says and I quickly check the bullets in my gun to see I had like two left.
I use more bullets I took from Jax's room and grab a gun off of a dead body.
"They were trying to take me to Dmitri." I say checking the bullets. I look back up to Rocco to see he was still looking at me sternly.
I place my gun in the waistband of my pyjama bottoms and sigh.
"Look I didn't exactly--" I stop talking when Rocco gets his gun and aims it. It whizzes past me to shoot two men that we're aiming for us.
"Carry on." He says putting his gun down.
"You can't just lock me in a room when all this is going on. If I see Dmitri, I'm going to kill him for killing my family." I say and he scoffs.
"Alright princess even though I can see you can handle your self and all you want to do is kill Dmitri. But Jax is looking for Dmitri with Gio so you should probably head on back up stairs." He says making me roll my eyes.
"Didn't you say I was a women in a man's world and they'll try to take advantage of me? Maybe if I show everyone I can do things like kill they'll be slightly less sexist." I say and point to the person behind him.
He doesn't turn so I just shoot the person behind him.
"Fine." He gives in picking up another gun and checking the bullets.
"Stay with me though. If Jax finds out you were outside of his room and I knew about it I'd be just as good as these men. Well maybe I wouldn't because I'm so amazing at my job but you know how it works." He says making me roll my eyes at his cockiness.
We wandered round the house killing people that we'd seen. Many people were fighting on the drive and in the garden. The ones that had gotten into the house me and Rocco killed.
"I'm gonna go to the garden, see if anyone needs my help you should probably go up to Jax's room now." He says and runs into the garden.
I hadn't seen Jax, Gio or Matteo anywhere yet. I heard noise from the dinning room that sounded like fighting.
I opened the door to the dinning room and to my surprise Matteo and Gio were in here in brawls with Russian men.
I sighed and shot one men who was about to shoot Gio. No one had turned to look at me yet, they hadn't noticed I was here either.
I walked over to the two men who were fighting with Gio. I pulled one of the men back and shot him in the side of the head straight away. He fell to the floor leaving all the men now staring at me.
"Get off of them now!" I shout and they let go of Gio and Matteo.
"That was completely unfair honestly." I say shooting off one of the guys that had been fighting with Matteo. I took out another gun and shot them both at the same time.
"Jesus Lara." Gio says and Matteo hugs me straight away.
"Where's Jax?" I ask once Matteo pulls back from the hug.
"Last we heard he was going to check on you girls." Gio says and I scrunch up my face.
"But by the looks of it he's probably searching this house for you because someone didn't stay in their post." Matteo says ruffling my hair.
"Well I'm going to go find him, you guys coming?" I ask and they grab their guns and follow me out.
"Did you kill everyone out here?" Gio asks and I scoff.
"Obviously not, I did kill everyone in the living room though." I say making both boys look at each other.
"I thought his office would've been guarded?" I say once we get outside his office.
"Its locked." Gio says as I reach for the door, but in this case it wasn't.
"Should be." He says and once we open the door the scene was a shocker.
Jax had been tied up exactly how Carter was the night he was killed. He was on his knees on the other side of the desk and once he caught eyes with me he rolled his eyes.
Dmitri was sat in Jax's chair and both Gio and Matteo were grabbed my two of his men.
The door then shut and I was left standing there with Gio and Matteo now unconscious in two separate corners of the room.
Fucking phenomenal.
I grabbed my gun as the two men made their way to my direction. I grabbed another gun and aimed for both of their heads making Dmitri to signal for them to stand down.
"I told you to stay in our room." Jax says and I sigh.
"I did for like twenty minutes then I just had to come down." I say and he sighs.
"Well done on all the killing by the way, I have been watching on the camera's. Too bad Rocco isn't at your side anymore, could've used him." Dmitri says making me roll my eyes.
"The funny thing to me is that if I just so much as do the signal these men will kill you in seconds. Then there will no longer be a Brazilian mafia, well there will be but with no true blood heir." Dmitri says and I roll my eyes.
"What makes you think I won't kill them first?" I ask and he laughs. Whilst he and his men laugh I shoot both of his men dead which does make him stop laughing.
I walk to the corners Gio and Matteo were in and begin to kick them to wake them up.
They stand up and aimed at Dmitri whilst I untied Jax and helped him up.
"Now now boys you should put your guns down." Dmitri says and they look at Jax who looks to me.
"Your in charge, you tell them." He says and I smile then turn to the boys.
"Shoot him BUT only in the shoulder." I say and they nod and shoot him in the shoulders making him fall to the floor.
"What shall we do with him boss?" Matteo says looking at me and making me smile. That felt good.
"If we kill him today then that's it it's over but if we hold him hostage they'll come looking for him." I say walking closer to him and meeting his eyes. "But death is definitely too kind of a punishment." I say walking back to Jax.
"Lets wait for everything to die down and then we can tie him up in the warehouse." I say and Jax nods.
We stayed in the office for hours. It was about 4am when it was okay to leave. The three boys took Dmitri to the warehouse where they drugged him up but were on strict orders to not kill him by myself.
Amara had got into Jax's bed beside me where she had fallen to sleep. I had text both Marco and my father in our group chat informing them of the events here tonight.
Many people were downstairs cleaning up the bodies and doing things like replacing the carpet with blood stains on.
When I had told Amara everything was fine she had told me Alannah slept all the way through the events.
I was just falling to sleep at about 6am when the door flung open. I sat up to see Jax walking in but groaned when he saw Amara on his side of the bed. He walked into the closet whilst ringing someone on his phone.
Not long after Gio walked in and came and picked Amara up and smiled politely at me before heading back out. Jax got into bed beside me and brought me into his arms.
"I put your gun back behind the picture, you might need to replace the bullets though." I say and he laughs softly whilst playing with my hair.
"We're going to the safe house in a few hours." He says leaving me confused.
"The cars are getting checked over now but the house takes longer than a house." He says and I nod.
"Its just for a night or two." He says and I nod and we fall asleep in each others arms, but only for a couple of hours.
