Song: 'Into You' by Arianna Grande
Got everyone watchin' us
So, baby, let's keep it secret
A little bit scandalous
But, baby, don't let them see it
A little less conversation and a little more touch my body
'Cause I'm so into you, into you, into you
Ooh, yeah
This could take some time, hey
I made too many mistakes
Better get this right, right, baby
Oh, baby, look what you started
The temperature's rising in here
Is this gonna happen?
Been waiting and waiting for you to make a move (ooh, ooh)
Before I make a move (ooh, ooh)
So, baby, come light me up
And maybe I'll let you on it
A little bit dangerous
But, baby, that's how I want it
A little less conversation and a little more touch my body
'Cause I'm so into you, into you, into you

Hannah's pov
The urge to clean my ears has never been greater than it is at this moment.
"Fix your face and smile," whispered the devil in my ear, his grip tightening around my arm.
I'm not shocked by his demand or revelation because this is what we've discussed, but this is the first time it's been addressed publicly and it has a weird sensation to it. A sensation I'm quite unable to put in any adjective.
"So, Mom wasn't lying about this?" Said, Ethan. Now that I look at him, I can see whom he resembles. Who else than the almighty Elijah Norman?
But I can tell by the grin on his face that they have extremely opposite personalities. Ethan is far more charming and Elijah is, well... Elijah.
The sister is more like Elijah because she still hasn't smiled since the moment she walked in.
"She's your wife and she didn't recognize us, your siblings. She thought we were your friends" Elena said cynically to her brother, raising her one eyebrow.
"You both weren't here when we got married so of course she didn't recognize you" he reasoned with her.
"About that, why we weren't there?" questioned Ethan while sitting on the sofa, more like plopping on it, all of us followed him and sat down, "I mean why didn't you wait for us to get back?"
"Being in love isn't enough?" said Elijah looking straight into his brother's eyes. But for some reason, what he said made me uncomfortable.
There's no love in this marriage, not before nor after it either. And to be very honest, there's no marriage either. It still feels like a nightmare that I'll wake up from one day.
"No," answered Elena, looking back at her brother with unflinching eyes, "for you it's not. Besides, she's not even your type." Ouch!
Hmm, seems like she really knows her brother. He's unable to hold a civil conversation with a person, loving one has to be off the charts.
To them, we remain a perfect couple who's slowly getting to know each other.
And his words echoed in my mind.
"Well, opposites attract, don't you know?" I said leaning a little further on his shoulder.
"They do," she looked at me from head to toe, "just not by this degree." She blurted rather nastily.
"Behave yourself, El, it's my wife you're talking to."
Say what nowwwww!!!!!
Did he just?
I mean...
"Oh, come on, you're seriously putting up with this? When Mom told us about this, I thought only Dad had lost his mind but you too?"
"We're not kids, Elena, we've made this decision by ourselves."
No, we haven't!
"So you're saying you're okay with all this, being bullied into marrying a complete stranger?"
"We're not strangers anymore. Yeah, it sounds absurd, to begin with, but now we're happy together."
One word... BIPOLAR!
And a liar.
It's two words but who cares.
The smoothness with which he lies is commendable, really.
If I didn't know the real him, I swear I would've believed every word that came out of his mouth.
But his sister clearly knows him, she's refused to believe a word he's said, and therefore they are constantly bickering.
She's questioning all his claims with logic. Smart woman.
And he not backing down either.
"You know what, I'm out of here, I came here to tell you I'm on your side, that we can come up with a solution to tackle this, but you clearly don't need any." She stood up from her place and so did he.
"And I appreciate that, El, but there's nothing I need help with," he reached out to hold her hand, his tone softening up a little.
Despite the argument they had today, I can tell how fond they are of each other.
"Ethan, let's go" Snatching her hand away from his, she turned and left.
Ethan followed her suit but not before making a quick stop in front of me.
"Hey, whatever this is, but... welcome to the family." He said affectionately and gave me a warm unexpected hug.
"Thanks?" I said reciprocating back an easy smile at him.
Well, I can certainly tell who's more relaxed out of all three.
"And don't worry about her, she'll be fine, soon-ish!" winking mischievously, he left too.
..................................................................................................................
"Well, that wasn't intense at all," I said, once they were out of sight.
"I don't blame her, it's not every day that she gets news of her brother's sudden marriage." He sat back down on the sofa, putting his head on the headrest, he closed his eyes.
I can tell that he's tired by the way he's racking his hands in his hair. Who wouldn't be, these conversations really suck the life out of you.
"You could've told her the truth, you know. She seemed concerned." I said nonchalantly, sitting on the other sofa.
He opened his eye and looked at me, his stare still giving nothing away at all.
"It's not that simple"
"Why not?"
"Because she doesn't need to be involved in my messes."
"By the looks of it, I'm sure she wouldn't mind."
"Her knowing about it means she'll fight with Dad about it with no outcome whatsoever. If it had, I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. It'll gain nothing, it's better for her to stay in oblivion."
I nodded my head understanding what he meant and not knowing what to say after. We sat like that for a while, neither of us saying a word.
"We need to sit..."
"I should get go..."
Both of us started at once and stopped midway. I realized this was the first time we were having a conversation without being forced into it.
"You go first," he must be really tired to allow me himself to say something, anything.
"Umm, I was saying," I hesitated a little, "we need to sit down and talk, we know nothing about each other." He raised his eyebrow at my suggestion.
"No, I mean, I didn't even know you had siblings. If a situation like this arises, which it will, I don't want to be caught off guard by it like today. It can be a problem for us. We should know a thing or two about each other."
"Fair enough, our stories need to align. Alright, tomorrow at lunch hour we'll discuss."
His agreeing with me will also have to be another 'first' of the day.
"I should get going now," he looked at his wristwatch.
I, too, saw the wall clock, it was already past midnight. I really didn't realize it got so late.
I saw him getting up and without thinking, I said, "You know, you can stay the night." He stood still midway and looked at me.
Shit, that's not what I meant.
I mean, I meant it just not the way it came out.
"I... I mean, it's not an offer, it... it's your house, your choice to stay or not," and I started blabbering, "in your room off course... shit," I think you should shut up now, Hannah, "No, not like that, umm, it's quite late, you have office tomorrow."
And I finally did,
Shut up.
He gave me a blank stare for a few seconds while I drowned in embarrassment.
Shaking his head ever so slightly, almost nonexistent, he picked up his suit jacket and left.
Not through the front door, though.
He went up the stairs and into his room.
