Short chapter kinda introductory cuz next chapter is a little different in a FUN WAY! YAY!
Happily
"Great job guys!" I say as they come off the Chatty Man stage.
"Thanks! Alan is a... fun guy," Louis chuckles to himself.
"Yeah, I can tell. I just about peed myself when he mentioned the tweet from the nine year old girl wanting Harry to sit on her face!" I laugh.
"That gravy joke just keeps haunting me though..." Harry pouts.
"Okay, well guys, Paul had to go back for something... I don't really know. But he got a ride with Caroline back to the hotel so we are just gonna go meet them there. Then we have to pack and be back on the bus in two hours!" I tell the boys.
"Where are we headed now?" Liam asks as we start to head back to the van.
"Amsterdam. Oh! And also, I talked to Hailee again while I was waiting for you guys to go on, and we worked it out that she is going to come meet us in Amsterdam!"
"That's great! I'm excited to actually meet her," Louis chuckles looking at me. "You know, get my seal of approval."
All the boys stop in their tracks to look at him.
"What do you mean 'seal of approval'? What do you need approval for?" Liam questions.
I look to Louis, and it is obvious he didn't think it through before he said that out loud. Boys...
"Yeah, I mean, Avery is living with us now, and Hailee is her best friend. Don't girls have a weird thing about making sure their friends are like being around good people or some shit like that?" Louis chuckles awkwardly. Oh Louis... You stupid man.
Then again, the rest of the boys just nod as if they understood exactly what he is talking about. What is with these boys? We don't do that! Do we...? Oh whatever, at least they don't suspect anything.
"Okay, well, anyways, if we are ever going to meet her we need to get going." I hurry them along.
Once we reach the van, I walk around to get in the front seat when Louis pipes up, "Can I drive?!"
"NO!" all the boys scream simultaneously. Okay then...
"Whatever," he pouts and climbs in the passenger seat beside me.
"Hey! Why does he get to sit in the front?!" Zayn cries from the back seat.
"I'm the oldest!" Louis turns to shout back at them, sticking his tongue out.
"That's not fair!" Niall yells back at him.
"Okay boys! That's enough! Louis is in the front seat simply because we don't have time to switch you all to make everyone happy. Now pipe down!" I scold them as I pull out of the parking lot and onto the main road.
"Yeah, you heard the lady! And, let's be honest. I'm her favorite," he says as he turns to wink at me.
I chuckle, just shaking my head at him. Even with the humor of his comment, I feel a slight blush creep up my cheeks.
These are some interesting boys.
âââââ
"Are we there yet?" Harry whines.
We have been in the bus all night, but we woke up about an hour ago, and they are already bored.
"We will be there in ten minutes!" I yell at him, getting frustrated.
"You said that five minutes ago!"
"No... five minutes ago I said fifteen minutes. Now... SHUT! UP!"
Harry just crosses his arms over his chest and plops down on the couch across from me as he pouts.
I roll my eyes and put my headphones in, trying to get the last thirty minutes of the boys grumbling out of my head. I'm in the middle of All Time Low's song For Baltimore--one of my favorites--when Liam comes and sits down next to me. He puts his head on my shoulder and looks up at me with puppy eyes.
"What?" I say as I take one ear out.
"Are you okay, love? You seem grumpy."
"I am grumpy," I answer him. "I am babysitting five boys who don't know how to be quiet. What do you expect?"
"Oh, come on. We aren't that bad."
I just raise an eyebrow at him.
"Fine. We are that bad. But you know you love us," he coos, squeezing my cheeks into a fish face.
I try giving him a serious look, but my cheeks turn up in a smile after a few seconds of looking at his playful expression. I laugh as he lets go of my cheeks.
"There! Aren't grumpy anymore, are you?" he teases, obviously happy with himself.
"I guess not," I laugh at him. I can't help it. He looks so innocent and pleased that he cheered me up. Before he can say anything else the bus comes to a stop.
"Finally!" Harry screams and runs to the door.
I just chuckle and stands up, grabbing my purse in the process.
As soon as I step off the bus, I an engulfed in a pair of arms wrapped around my neck.
"AVERY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" the face behind the arms squeals. It takes me a millisecond to realize who it is.
"HAILEE! I MISSED YOU TOO! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!" I squeal back as we jump up and down giddily.
As I pull away, we both just smile at each other like bubbling idiots, before pulling each other in for another hug and repeating our same actions.
That us, until I hear a cough and feel someone tapping on my shoulder. We pull away and I see Louis standing there will an awaiting smirk on his face.
I glare at him. "Getting impatient again are we?" He just shrugs and smiles wider. I roll my eyes, trying to conceal my laughter. "Anyways," I say turning back to Hailee. "Hails, meet One Direction."
