Warnings: not sure if I have to put this as a warning but it talks of asthma and not being able to breath.

Description: you wake up from a terrible nightmare. You have asthma so you reach for your inhaler. Oh great, it fell and broke. Your boyfriend, Tyler, helps you.

You jolt awake. And you're drenched in sweat. You try to take a deep breath but, of course, you're having stupid asthma attack and you can't catch your breath.
You try to stay quiet in attempt of not waking your boyfriend, Tyler, and you reach your hand to the bed stand to use your inhaler. But, of course, you instead knock it off and it's now on the floor. When you look over you see one piece of your inhaler across the room and another piece of it just beside your bed.
That makes your asthma worse, your only inhaler and it's broken. Well, you had another one but that was in the car.
You try to take a gasp of air, but every breath seems to make your breath feel tighter and tighter. Tyler's back is facing you, and he's curled up enjoying his happy sleep.
You reach your hand over and nudge him in the back. He turns and looks at you. His eyebrows furrowed, and a sleepy expression on his face.
"hmm?" He mumbles before realizing you aren't breathing properly. "Baby, your inhaler."
He instantly wakes up from his dreamy state and leans over you to your nightstand trying to find it. You grip the sheets trying to take a deep breath.
He pauses a second, realizing that the inhaler isn't there. He then looks back at you, and you're shutting your eyes closed trying to focus on breathing.
He fixed himself to where he was sitting up. He grabbed you and placed you to where your back was pressed to his chest.
"Breath." He says, taking in a deep breath. You try to mimic what he does but your lungs are burning for air.
"Inhale" He breathes in deeply.
"Exhale" He lets it out and you can feel his hot breath on your neck.
After a few times you finally can inhale and exhale with him without your breath hitching.
He still holds you tight to his chest as he exaggerates his breath so you can follow along with him.
"Thank you." You say, your voice hoarse.
"You're so brave." He says, turning his head and giving you a kiss on the cheek.

Idk why but I love writing ones where like you wake up and he comforts you from a bad dream or something. :)
