Description: Y/N's mom made her sign up for dance lessons, and boy is her partner annoying.
(*â»-â»*)
I have prom in a few weeks and my mom thought it would be better for me to know how to 'dance.' So she signed me up for 'couples' dancing class.
Yeah, and I don't have a boyfriend so I got some random kid. And HES ANNOYING!
It gets worse.
He doesn't like dancing with people. He likes 'free styling' is what I call it.
His mom forced him to come to couples dancing because she wants him out of the house and he needs to let out energy.
So basically she had to get her annoying son out of the house or she'd get a migraine.
When I'm supposed to have my hands on his shoulders and his hands on my waist he never does it. He's always like:
"Woah, thats not right. We aren't dating I shouldn't be putting my hands on your waist." He would say.
Oh my FUCKING god!
I just want to get through this STUPID CLASS! And he's making it harder! There are 5 steps to 'couples dancing' and we haven't even passed number 1 all because he won't put his hands on my waist.
Most of the kids in the class are already on stage 3.
I tried to fix the problem and:
"Okay, you know what? Fine. Put your hands on my shoulders then." I said annoyed.
"You're really okay with that?" He asked cautiously.
"Yes! JUST FUCKING TOUCH ME!" I yelled. Everyone turned to me, and my face got red. Tyler stepped back a little.
"Y'know I would, b- but what if I hurt you?" He asked.
How the hell could he hurt me? It's not like he's punching me.
"Tyler... you won't hurt me." I said, trying to act calm and normal because of that outburst.
He pursed his lips and and around the room without moving his head.
He opened his mouth, and got closer as if he was about to say something. He reached his arms out and I smiled finally thinking we're going somewhere.
He was just about to put his hands on my waist when he clinched his fists and shook his head.
"Nope, no. Can't do it. Sorry." He threw his hands up. I looked at him, my mouth slightly gaped with shock.
I gave him an 'are you stupid?' Look.
"No?" I asked stepping closer as if I'm about to kill him.
"Yeah... I mean no." I gave him a confusing look, and he sighed and nodded. "Yeah."
"That's the end of class! Let me know if you have any questions." The dance teacher announced. I groaned, and Tyler jumped up his face smiling.
I started to walk out of the building when Tyler stopped me.
"Wait where are you going?" He asked.
"To hell." I said blankly, not stopping.
"W- why?" He asked, running up beside me. He was taking small quick steps just like I was.
"Because anywhere is better than right here with you!" I yelled, as I started to walk faster.
From the corner of my eye I could see his face fall, and he stops but I don't.
"I- I was just going to ask if you wanted to go to Taco Bell..." he mumbled, and I stopped in my tracks.
"Why?" I asked.
"B- because I- I- you're the closest I've gotten to a friend." I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
That poor kid.
"No, I mean c-closest I've gotten to a girl..." he said and paused. "...Friend."
I sighed and looked down.
"You're the closest I've gotten to a friend that is a girl." He stated more confidently.
"I will go to Taco Bell with you." I mumbled, still looking down.
"Really?" He said more enthusiastically.
"Yes." I said looking up. He had a huge smile on his face and he did a little free style dance.
I giggled a little at his immaturity.
"Answer me one question, Tyler." I began.
He stopped dancing and looked at me.
"Why won't you touch my waist? It's just dancing it's nothing sexual."
"I don't want to crush you with my soft strong hands." He stated grinning and I lifted my eyebrows telling him to give me a real reason. He sighed. "I didn't want to disrespect you."
"I was giving you permission." I said clinching my fists.
"I was just scared, alright feisty?" He put his hands up.
