Description: Y/N's boyfriend, Max, is a great guy. But Y/N also thinks Tyler, her best friend, is a great guy. They might hook up every once and a while. Maybe.
(*â»-â»*)
"Y/N!" Your boyfriend, Max, calls. You jump slightly.
You've been getting nervous around your boyfriend lately. You did something terrible with your best friend, Tyler, and you don't want Max to know.
You and Max have been together for 2 months, and you and Tyler have been hooking up for a month. You're not sure which one you love, but Tyler is insisting you tell Max that you wanted to break up and make Tyler your number one priority. Which you want to, but you do love Max too.
"Good luck kiss before the big meeting I have today?" He asks, and he makes kissy lips. You chuckle and place a soft kiss on his lips. He smiles and leaves with his briefcase.
The problem with Max is that every time you kiss him you can't help but think about Tyler. And the problem with Tyler is that he isn't Max with the good job and the want for a family.
Tyler is more of a bad rebellious guy. Which is hot, but not good in a husband way, right?
You: he's gone.
Tyler: well, lucky me because I'm just outside your window :)
You hear a tap on the window to your left and you give him a smile.
He opens the unlocked window and climbs in. The first thing he does is lock his lips with yours, giving you a good long rough kiss. You both pull away breathless.
He then gives you his handsome smile, as he turns around and shuts the window.
"So whats to do?" He asks, putting his hands on his hips and looking around.
You wipe your mouth from the kiss, and lead him to the kitchen.
"So, I've got doughnuts." You say with jazz hands.
"Yum." He says. He wraps his arms around you from behind. His arms just below your chin. He starts to sway. "Is this all for us?"
"No, Max is joining us." You say sarcastically and Tyler tenses. You start to giggle and twist yourself around. "You're good, I was kidding."
He slumps down as you inch your arms around his shoulders.
"Mmh, you always tease me." He complains. He rubs his thumb over your bottom lip.
"I sowwy." You mumble as he does it, and he bursts into laughter. His head flings back, and he grips your shoulders.
You smile, and he rests his head on your shoulder. He buries his head in your neck crease.
"I want you to be mine." He whispers, which gives you goosebumps.
"Maybe after we eat doughnuts." You whisper back and he chuckles slightly.
"No, no. I mean I want you to be mine. Not Max's." He says back, he moves his feet back and forth so you will sway.
"I don't know how to tell Max."
"Who do you love more? And don't give me one of those bullshit answers just because I'm here." He lifts his head and locks eyes with you.
"I..." you pause and looks around, but he takes his free hand and tilts your chin to look at him again. He lifts his brows insisting an answer.
His beautiful brown eyes make your stomach flutter, and his lips were soft and just the right shade of pink. He was so handsome and on top of that he was a caring wonderful person. Not that anyone sees that side of him. Everyone knows him as rebellious and bad, but he shows you a different side of him. A sensitive, and innocent side of him.
"I love you." You reply.
"Really?" He asks more seriously than shocked. I nod. "Okay, then what is holding you back?"
"I don't want to do this to him. I might love you more but I still care about him." You look down, and Tyler decides to drop the subject for now, and gently presses your head to his chest. You close your eyes, smell in his scent, and smile.
You stand there in a hug for a while, wondering when you guys were actually gonna eat doughnuts, until you hear the door open. Then footsteps, and keys dropping on the table.
Wait-
"what the fuck!" You hear Max's voice and you rocket off of Tyler and straighten your shirt from where Tyler was rubbing your back.
You look at Tyler who is just as speechless and scared as you.
"I'm sorry, Max." You say and he kicks a chair out of anger.
You jump a little, and you see Tyler step in front of you, to protect you from whatever he planned on doing.
"How could you do this to me! You slut!" He screams.
"Hey, that's enough." Tyler says, putting his hand out to calm him.
"No, you fucking-" he starts mumbling as he looks at you with rage, he starts to trudge toward you but Tyler grabs him and pushes him up against the wall.
"Try that again and see how it goes." He threatens, and Max tries to remove himself from his grasp. Tyler just shoved him up against the wall again. "If you ever even think about touching a woman with violence, especially that one right there I will hurt you. Badly. Am I clear?" He says pointing to you to make his point clear.
Max stares at him with a look of hatred, before he nods. Tyler gives him the same look, as he releases him.
"I hope you die in a ditch." Max says, now looking at you.
Tyler chuckles while looking down, you could tell the laugh wasn't a funny laugh it was filled with anger.
You look over at him and you can see the anger radiating from him. He uses all that anger, and that jealousy of you and Max being together in the first place, and he punches Max hard across the face.
Max falls to the ground passed out. You feel a pang in your heart when you see him fall, even though you don't love him anymore you did at one point.
You stare at Max's unconscious body and tears swell your eyes. Tyler looks up and notices this and comes over to you.
"He's just unconscious, it's alright." He says softly. He moves his body to where he can block your view from your once loved boyfriend, now Ex.
He takes your hand and you both leave the house.
Tyler said it was best if you weren't there when he woke up.
He also made sure to tell you that everything Max said wasn't true. And he also made sure you believed every word.
You think you made the right choice. You just wish you could have prevented that nasty fight.
