Description: Grace is mute, but she loves writing lyrics. Ironic right? she bumps into this boy, Tyler, and he too writes lyrics.

I look out towards the setting sun, as I gradually rock my feet back and forth on the small play ground swing.
I tap my pen down on my notebook in my lap, and bite my lip.
What's a good way of captivating this feeling? I think.
Aha! I get an I idea and I write it down.
'It just hit me as I laid my head down
No one around in the dark cold night, I hear a sound
In my head repeat track of everything you've ever said
Must be something, but it's nothing, so I just go back to bed'
I drop my pen for a minute to rest my hand.
"Hi." A soft raspy voice brings me out of focus, and I tilt my head up out of curiosity.
I wave my hand, and the boy smiles and sits down in the swing next to me.
"This might sound weird, but I've seen you here before." He starts rocking in the swing like I am.
I give him a simple smile but look down.
I've seen him too.
I hold up my finger for him to wait and I write down 'I've seen you too.'
He furrows his eyebrows, "you like writing?" He asks, and I nod. I flip the page to an already written page.
I'm mute. It said in big fancy letters. I had an idea a while ago to make a big fancy colorful page explaining why I'm not speaking. I don't know I was bored not much you can do when you're mute.
"Oh," his smile fades and he looks down, everything becoming awkward. "I'm Tyler."
I then flip the page to another fancy colorful page.
Grace. Is what it says. It isn't my actual name but I prefer it.
"That's a beautiful name." He says, and I just shrug.
"I couldn't help but notice you were writing. Do you like... write books and stuff?" He asks, and I shrug again.
It's ironic but I write song lyrics. I write, and his face lights up.
"Really? me too!" He says, and he lightly hits my shoulder. I let out a silent chuckle, and he smiles. "Maybe I can read some of your stuff and we can become like a band or something." He chuckles, and I nod.
I hand him my notebook, and flip the page to the beginning where the lyrics start.
"Friend, please." He reads the headline, and he smiles. He then flips the page. "Fall away." Flips page. "Ãde To Sleep."
He looks at me, with admiration. "Wow, these are good. I'll have to bring my ukulele and notebook and we can write some songs."
I smile because that's all I can really do.
We talked a while- well he did, and I listened. He talked about how he wrote a song for his mother, and how she enjoyed it. He also said that his friend, Jøsh, and him want to start a band together. I wrote that he should go for it, it and he replied "maybe I will." With a soft smile.
He worked with me on a song I was currently struggling on and soon it became a song titled "taken by sleep" which I really love.
He's cute. I can't believe he's talking to me.

This is super short but I feel like the rest you can fill in yourself. Like he used her lyrics and sang them for her or something, and with them started a band.
Also I used a different name than Y/N.
