"I don't want to talk to you right now Tyler. I'm getting in the shower." She sighed and made her way into the bathroom shutting the door.

I huffed, and rubbed my face. I plopped down at the side of the bed.

My fists were clenched with frustration, and I felt like punching a wall.

How could she go off on me like that? All I wanted was to be nice.

I sat there pondering over everything.

She wanted to take me to a concert, but then my agent called and scheduled a meeting Friday with Jøsh and I had to cancel on her.

She told me it was fine, and that she could invite a friend instead. That means it's fine right?

I rolled my eyes. Apparently she wasn't fine with it at all!

She was just about to leave for the concert, when I got a call.

My agent had to cancel on me. I was excited at first, because that means I can go with Y/N to the concert! Her friend was so excited though, so I decided to wait to tell her about the cancelation until after.

Once she got home, I was lying on the bed with a book in my hands.

She asked me how the meeting went, and I told her about how he rescheduled and I just didn't want to ruin her and her friends day together.

She then totally blew up on me, and started naming insults like how I didn't care about going, and I didn't even try to go.

I ended up spitting insults as well, calling her unreasonable and ungrateful.

I then went on to say that I bought both of the tickets for her, and that she was being needy and selfish.

I could see her hold back tears, as she excused herself to the bathroom.

Okay, maybe I was a little harsh. But she didn't understand! And she definitely didn't seem to care about if her friend wanted to go or not.

I tapped my foot as I thought about it longer.

I then remembered her face when I was absentmindedly naming insults, and how hurt she looked.

How could I do that? I thought and I sighed.

She ran out of the room, her shoulders shaking as she held back tears.

God, I'm horrible.

I messed up big time.

I then pulled out my phone and called Jøsh.

"Man, I need your help." I said, and I began to tell Jøsh my amazing plan to win her back.

Third person POV

You had a stressful day today. You wouldn't talk to Tyler all night, and you ended up sleeping on your side away from Tyler.

You were hurt with what he did. The whole night at the concert all you could think about was how Tyler wasn't there.

You were hoping to go as a date, because you guys haven't had fun one on one time in a while because of his job.

Then a meeting came up, and he had to cancel on you. You told him it was fine, but deep down you were hurt. He works all the time and he can't give you some of his time?

You know it was selfish of you to think that way, and that made you feel worse about it. And Tyler went ahead and said that you're needy and selfish. It crossed the line for you.

You set your purse down in the passenger seat and shut the door, making your way to your side.

Once You opened the door and muffled ringing sang in your purse.

You stretched out to grab it and put it to your ear.

Tyler.

"Yes?" You asked, your voice laced with the tiniest bit of anger it was almost hard to tell.

"J-just when you get home go to the backyard and follow the path I made okay?" He said gently, and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.

"The path? What are you talking about?" You asked, but you were greeted with a noise that let you know he hung up.

That just made you more frustrated with him. Why can't he just tell you?

You pulled the car from park and began your journey home.

When you arrived you set your purse down on the counter and made your way out to your backyard.

You had woods in your backyard, they were your favorite place to go when you were stressed.

You scanned the trees with your eyes until you found an abnormal patch of grass. It was a path, and you don't remember ever seeing it there before. Tyler must have made it for you.

You decided to change out of your flip flops and into your boots. Sadly you couldn't find yours so you put on Tyler's slightly bigger ones.

You made your way through the long grass, following the small path, made from feet and maybe a pocket knife.

You listened to the birds, and watched the trees blow in the wind. You smiled. It relaxed you.

You then turned to face what you think is south, and you hear muffled talking.

You walk a bit closer to the voices, and you could hear Tyler's voice. You knew it was Tyler, his voice is quite identifiable.

"What if she doesn't come Jøsh?" He said.

"She'll come." Josh replied

"I knew I shouldn't have hung up like I did on the phone she probably thinks I'm pranking her." He said again, this time you could hear him more clearly, and you could slightly see his little fluff of hair through the bushes.

"No! That was good, it makes this sort of a mystery." Jøsh replied.

Once you got a bit closer, you saw that Tyler was in a nice black suit, and Jøsh was sitting on his little pickup truck, while Tyler was on a log. You then stepped on a stick, and you froze.

Tyler jumped up and looked your way.

"Here we go." Jøsh mumbles, and you thought it was a good time to enter their line of sight.

You walked out, a confused look on your face.

"W-why are you in a suit?" You asked, and Tyler looked down at his suit as if he had nothing to say.

from the corner of your eye you saw Jøsh throw an acorn, which hit Tyler straight in the shoulder.

"Ow! I mean, because it's romantic- its romantic to wear a suit." He said as if he was reciting it from lines.

There was a long pause for a moment until Tyler spoke up.

"Wait, are you wearing my boots?" He points to the boots, and you look down at them and wiggle your toes.

Jøsh then through a handful of acorns at Tyler, before chuckling a little. He was enjoying this.

"Dude! Okay!" Tyler yelled blocking his face, he then turned back to you. "Start the music." He said as if nothing happened.

Photograph by Ed Sheeran started playing through speakers on Josh's pickup truck.

A big grin engulfed your face, which made Tyler's shoulder relax a little. This was one of your favorite songs.

Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes

But it's the only thing that I know

When it gets hard, you know it can get hard sometimes

It is the only thing makes us feel alive

"Will you dance with me mrs. Jøseph?" He asked, as he approached you.

You nodded, and grabbed his hand.

He pulled you closer, and swayed you.

Tyler glanced at Jøsh and he give him a thumbs up.

"Did you really need Jøsh to help you be romantic?" You asked, holding in a giggle.

"I'm not the most romantic guy around, so yeah." He said defending himself.

"That's okay, I still love you." You whispered, and you leaned your head on his shoulder.

We keep this love in a photograph

We made these memories for ourselves

Where our eyes are never closing

Hearts are never broken

And time's forever frozen still

You let the words sink into your brain, and take over your mind as you absentmindedly danced with Tyler.

"I had to ask your mom what your favorite song was." He said in a hush tone.

"Why, you didn't know?" You looked up in his eyes, and you could see that he was sorry about it.

"No I didn't. I don't know you like I used to. I work to much, and I'm sorry." He apologized, and you put a small smile on your face.

So you can keep me

Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans

Holding me closer 'til our eyes meet

You won't ever be alone, wait for me to come home

"It's okay." You whispered a reply.

"No it's not, but I'll do better I promise." He said, and then it went silent again, and the song took over our ears.

You slightly hummed in satisfaction, and Tyler held you tighter.

Loving can heal, loving can mend your soul

And it's the only thing that I know, know

I swear it will get easier

Remember that with every piece of you

Hm, and it's the only thing we take with us when we die

You then glanced over at Jøsh, who was now laughing at his phone. Probably a meme.

"You're my favorite person." Tyler whispered in your ear, and you pressed your face to his neck, and wrapped your arms around his shoulders.

Hm, we keep this love in this photograph

We made these memories for ourselves

Where our eyes are never closing

Hearts were never broken

And time's forever frozen still

"You've successfully succeeded. This is very romantic." You mumbled into his neck and he chuckled.

"I'm so glad that I've successfully succeeded." He emphasized.

He then grabbed your face and gave you a small peck on the lips. He keep his gaze at your lips, as he tilts his head slightly to give you a more passionate one.

When I'm away, I will remember how you kissed me

Under the lamppost back on Sixth street

Hearing you whisper through the phone

"Wait for me to come home"

"I love you." You both mumbled in unison as your foreheads met.

"And that, my friend, is how you be romantic!" Jøsh said jumping off the pickup truck and dusting his hands off. "5 bucks for giving you romance lessons."

I never know when to end these things. Whatever
