It was almost 10 mins since the operation is going on and Avyaan was sitting on one of the chair silently praying for both Shanvi and their baby.He was closing his tightly whispering silent prayers.His breathe hitched when he heard baby cries.He opened his eyes quickly and went towards the window to see.
He was shocked,happy seeing his baby in the doctor's hand crying.He turns around to see all his family members including Shanvi's family members and Kabir was already staring at him."Maa-Papa I-I'm a father now" he fell down on his knees while tears roll down his eyes.After sometime the doctor came Avyaan quickly stood up and asked the doctor "my-my wife is she fine?"
The doctor nodded"She is fine and she gave birth to a babygirl.You can meet her after we took her to the normal ward,Avyaan" She smiles at him he understood and nodded his head.She left from there to check some files.After 5 mins they shifted her to the normal ward.Avyaan stood infront up the normal ward door. The doctor came out of the room checking up on her.He thanked her and rushes towards her and interlaced her hand with his.
"Aap thik hai?kuch chahiye toh bta dijiye mai le aaunga" Avyaan spoke grasping her hand tightly.She shook her head and motioned towards their daughter with her other hand.Avyaan looked towards the side of the bed where he saw his daughter sleeping in the crib."Hamari beti" Shanvi spoke weakly,Avyaan looked at her and nodded with a joyful face "Hamari beti" he repeated."Go meet her"Shanvi says and Avyaan nodded standing up from the stool.All the family members and Kabir were standing near the door letting Avyaan and Shanvi have their moments.
Avyaan wipes his tears and wipes his hand in his pant to clean his hand properly. His hands were shaking when he picked up his daughter for the first time. His daughter stirs in her sleep but relaxed when Avyaan cooed her.
"Meri Ghar ki Laxmi aayi hain"He announces.
He was shaking holding his daughter in his arms."She got Shanvi's nose,my lips and Shanvi's colour she is beautiful just like Shanvi" Avyaan commented while the family members were watching him with awe.
The doctor who was standing there with a smile came towards Shanvi and stood beside her" No doubt why Avyaan tells us you're so strong and brave,Shanvi.Look you were hurt and was breathing heavily during the operation but the most important thing is that you didn't give up throughout the delivery you fighted and gave birth to a babygirl"
"Now I should go and let you guys have your moments"The doctor said and left the room with a smile.
"Congratulations bhai" Mahi spoke sidehugging Avyaan,Shanvi chuckled at Mahi's behavior.Suman came towards Shanvi and asked "Beta you ok? Should I bring something for you?" Shanvi shooked her head "I am ok" she answered.
Everyone met Shanvi and congratulated Shanvi and Avyaan for the babygirl. "Bhai now give me it's my time to meet my niece" Mahi says extending her hands towards Avyaan with a smile.Veer shoved her off and extended his hands towards Avyaan "No bhai give my niece to me first I'm her uncle"
"Veer bhai ye cheating hai pehle mujhe milne hai meri bhatiji se mai uski Bua hun" Mahi whined.
"Toh mai bhi uska chacha hun" Veer backfires
"Mai apni bacchi ka papa hun toh mai tum dono ko nhi dunga" Avyaan spoke showing his tongue to both of them.Everyone laughed at the funny banter between Mahi,Veer and Avyaan.
"Aap nhi doge mujhe apni bhatiji se milne?"Mahi questioned Avyaan to which he shook his head negatively.
"Bhabhi" Mahi fake cried walking towards Shanvi.Avyaan rolled his eyes knowing Mahi is using his wife's card.
"Le meri Maa mil le apni bhatiji se"Avyaan said giving his daughter to Mahi.Mahi laughed knowing her plan worked.Veer was standing there with his jaw dropped."If I would have known that bhai will give me my niece by using Shanvi's card then I would have use it earlier"
"You need brain,Veer bhai"Mahi teased holding the new born in her arms."Bhai you're scared of Shanvi right?" Veer asked and Avyaan shooked his head proudly but nodded his head agreeing when he noticed Shanvi raising her eyebrows."Yes I'm" Avyaan answered glancing down.Shanvi smiled internally happy that he is scared of her.
It's been 2 days since Shanvi was in the hospital and now it's time for her to take discharge from the hospital. Avyaan carried her in bridal style to the car and gently helped her to sit on the passenger's seat.He took his daughter from Mahi's hand and gave to Shanvi to hold.Mahi sat in the backseat and Avyaan sat in the driver's seat driving off.
After 10 mins they reached their house.Avyaan helped Shanvi to come out of the car slowly holding their daughter. Mahi went inside the house announcing Shanvi is back.Avyaan and Shanvi stood on the door's entrance when Suman came with the Aarti's plate everyone was present in the room to welcome Shanvi and the new Laxmi of the house.
"Come inside Shanvi" Suman says stepping aside for her to enter."Stop" Veer yells loudly stopping Shanvi at the entrance.Veer rushes and stood infront of Shanvi.He showed his new white shirt and called a maid to bring the plate filled with sindoor water.
"I want my niece footprints on my shirt" Veer exclaims.
Everyone was surprised by his idea but nevertheless Shanvi smiled and agreed with him.Shanvi dipped her daughter's feet in the plate and placed on that shirt.Veer was happy to get his niece footprints.
"Now it's my turn" said dadu who showed his shawl."I also want my great grand daughter's footprints I want to frame it" Dadu added and showed his shawl.
"But babuji it's your new shawl" said Meera
"I know I want my Laxmi's footprints on it I will cut that part of the shawl and frame it" replied Dadu. Shanvi did the same and imprinted her daughter's footprints on the shawl.
"Can we enter?" Avyaan asked.
"We didn't invite you only bhabhi and my niece will come not you" Mahi says.
"And still I will enter" Avyaan says entering with Shanvi and his daughter. Mahi rolled her eyes at him.
"Avyaan beta take Shanvi to the room and let her rest and yes put our Laxmi to the crib we have organized everything." Suman told to which Avyaan nodded and took Shanvi to their room.He put his daughter in the crib to sleep and gently made Shanvi to lay down.
"Are you happy,Avy?" Shanvi asked
"I am on cloud nine I can't express my feelings"
"Were you scared seeing me in pain?" Shanvi asked Avyaan averted his gaze from her and let put a sigh."I was and I still am I can't see something happening to you you mean the world to me"
"And now our daughter is my life.I will die before something happens to you both." He added.
"I love you" Shanvi said.
"I love you too thanks for giving me the best gift. Our daughter" he engulfed her in a hug.
1 week later,there was a puja for Shanvi and her daughter.The naming ceremony of Shanvi and Avyaan's daughter. Shanvi came while holding her baby in her arms with Avyaan beside her.They both sat in the puja letting the puja continues.The puja was going on with all the family members of Shanvi's and Avyaan's. Kabir,Sia were also present.
Now it's time to name the new born.Mahi sat infront of Shanvi and took the newborn in her arms as per Pandit ji's words."Mahi beta tell the name of the bacchi's in her ears" Pandit ji said and Mahi nodded her head before telling the name she kept from the starting for Avyaan's daughter.
"I swear Mahi agar tune koi vahiyaat naam diya hoga na meri bhatiji ko toh mai tujhe chhodunga nhi" Veer asserted.
"Chup!"Meera said to Veer and turned her head towards Mahi "Beta tell us the name"
"In today's evening I will show everyone the name of my niece"Mahi grinned.
Evening, there was a small party for the new born.Everyone were present Avyaan and Shanvi came with their daughter wearing matching outfits. "The parents and the daughter in matching outfits nice"Trisha commented in awe.Avyaan and Shanvi cut cake with their daughter in Shanvi's arms.They fed eachother.
"Now it's time for everyone to know the name of our little Angel" Mahi said and stood in the middle of the hall."Lights off" At her order lights went off and a name flashed infront of the projector.
Yaanvi
The name of their daughter is Yaanvi."Everyone meet Yaanvi Verma our princess and Avyaan Bhai and Shanvi Bhabhi's life" Mahi said and her smile dropped when she no response from anyone."Naam accha nhi hai?" Mahi asked anxiously.
"It's beautiful" Shanvi said.
"But what does it mean?" Avyaan asked.Mahi gained some hope and answered his question "I derived this name from Avyaan's bhai "Yaan" and Shanvi Bhabhi' "Vi" which becomes Yaanvi.She will be the light in everyone's life." Mahi completed. Everyone clapped at her choice.
"Wah Mahi I thought tu koi vahiyaat naam degi meri bhatiji ke liye but acchai h keep it up" Veer says.Mahi flipped her Hair earning laughs from everyone at her cut behavior.
