Zak

"Take Zak back to the car and make sure he does not leave your site," Ace says before he puts his hand on a door.

Ace had just killed Asher or Asher's twin brother, Mason. They are identical twins which does not help when it comes to identifying them, the only way to identify them is how deep their voice is.

"Because if you die, Dia will personally kill me," he says before taking a turn to be on the opposite side of me. Someone grabs my arm and starts gently pulling me away from there.

"Why can't I stay?" I question, nudging my arm out of their grip.

"We have strict instructions to keep you safe," the guy who was holding me says. Someone bumps into my back side. Ace really said I can come but decides to go back on his word.

"But wouldn't it be a waste of men and women," I say looking at the guards with me while hearing people behind me run, "to look for Dia. She is the one who needs help." I say, crossing my arms and waiting for the to reply. On of the men look at me, he swings his gun to be behind him. He grabs my arm and starts walking me towards the exit. More like dragging me towards the exit.

We exit with some people rushing to get into the building. The guy who is holding my elbow, directs me to a car, one of the black cars we came in.

One of the henchmen walks to open the car door, the other one who is holding me, turns to look at me. He moves my elbow to push me not so gently against the car.

"Get in," the guy says in a stern voice.

I look at him, "Okay.'

"We know you want to see Dia but we also need to keep you safe," the third one says, my legs are still out of the car but my bum is on the seat. I am faced towards the side of the car- the door is still open- instead of in front of the car. The air smells funny and I wonder why?

"Shouldn't you be keeping Ace safe?" I question, I mean, I am the opposing side of the city, they technically should be trying to get rid of me.

"He gave us orders to protect you," the first one who was holding me, says.

"Okay," I say looking at the building, no one is entering the building anymore, the entrance is empty, no more busy bodies entering the building.

"What is that smell," one of the hench women walks up to us. I look at her, my forehead scrunching, and my eyebrows rise and my eyes widen.

The next thing I know, there is a loud sound and air pushes me back- aggressive air. The next thing I know the entrance of the building is on fire, I have ringing in my ears.

An explosion went off, you can smell the burning of things and even some humans.

Dia was in there!! What if she is dead?

I look at the hench people before, they close the door. They run towards the explosion, leaving the henchwomen to look after me.

What just happened?

Everything starts to blur out.
