Tonight, was the engagement party for both couples. Jensen had talked with a couple of friends of his as Jack Billings Fredrick Gye and Thomas Bish the owners of Vauxhall pleasure gardens after he learned that Luther had asked Pauline to marry him there when they were younger. The men were more than glad to help Jensen out after all the Duke had helped them negotiated a few deals for them as Jack and they had not opened the gardens for the season as of yet so it would not interfere with any plans.
Luther oversaw the entertainment for the night. Jensen thought the kind of entertainment professionals he knew would not be appropriate for a formal engagement party. Pauline and Johanna oversaw the food. They only had a week to pull this off and between the two families there were well over five hundred people who would be in attendance. The guests started to arrive at five to where the boats were to be launched. Each boat took their passengers to the grounds of the gardens where they were dropped off and told to enjoy themselves until the entertainment started. At eight the bells chimed, and all the guest gathered at the main stage where the two couples stood upon the stage while everyone was given a glass of champagne for the toast.
When everyone received a glass, Luther stepped forward to make his speech.
"Welcome everyone we are glad that you could enjoy us on such short notice and for such a special occasion. I would like to thank my future brother in law for arranging for us to celebrate here. I thought I would like to share a bit of Pauline and my story. You see twenty years ago I asked Pauline to marry me. I had every intention of marry her I loved her since we were children, but our grandfathers decided our journey in life would not be together. But now that we are both free and our families no longer object we are excited to say we will be married next week at Westminster all of you are invited of course. Raise your glasses for love eternal and to finding and rekindling our eternal love."
Once everyone took a drink it was time for the next announcement Luther was ready to announce his sister's engagement.
"Everyone please raises your glasses once again. I would like to announce that not only Pauline and I are to be married next week but my sister Johanna and the Duke of Richmond plan on celebrating in our wedding by sharing the day with us and their own wedding. I am blessed my little sister found a good and noble man. Here is to Jensen and Johanna."
They again raised their glasses in a toast to the younger couple. Just then the fireworks started to go off. As everyone watched the display in the sky Lina was getting ready to perform. It had been years since Lina the Duchess of New Cross had performed in public, but at one time she had been the famous Opera singer Lina Ranallone. While Lina sang the garden grew extremely quiet, she had been one of the Prima Donna's of the London Opera world. After her performance they all went over to talk with the Valentine family. Tory rushed over to Johanna and gave her a hug, Jeremy who had become very stuffy since getting married only nodded. The other Valentines were much warmer in their greetings and congratulations. Johanna was surprised Victor seemed to be on his best behavior, but it could have been because his mother and the Prime Minister the Duke of Wellington or maybe it was Izzy's influence.
Daphne and Jamie took Johanna aside to make sure this is what she really wanted since it was only the beginning of the season. Johanna was touched by their concern. Jamie always felt responsible to protect Johanna since she was always with Katie. Valerie and Nathan also wished them well but not as privately as Daphne and Jamie.
Jensen had seemed board with all the congratulations it was kind of exhausting receiving five hundred well-wishers. But when Jason Yardley came up to congratulate both couples and kissed Johanna's cheek. Jensen now knew which Jason had been kissing his intended. He would have a talk with him alone later before they all left for home.
When they finished receiving everyone Luther had asked his friend Chester Smart the conductor of the London Philharmonic Society to perform. He had been glad he could perform for his good friend one of the orchestras concerts was canceled and they were free to perform. Luther had to wonder if god was not smiling down on him and Pauline or maybe they were trying to help them correct the wrong that was done to them so many years ago. Whether it be divine intervention or fate he was just grateful he could give Pauline what she had always wanted and deserved.
At ten o'clock the water show started, and they all went over to the cascade where the manmade waterfall show started and delighted their guest. After the water show everyone took a boat back to the dock while the orchestra played to their departure. Overall, both couples were happy with the results of the night. That was until a bullet shot out and grazed Johanna's upper arm only because she had moved to the side to see if she could see the rippling of the water in the moon light.
"Jensen dear I think I have been shot!"
Then Johanna slumped forward falling face first into Jensen's lap. The rower was not sure what to do he was working on remaining calm, but it was hard when he thought the Lady had been murdered. Jensen held Johanna and talked calmly to the rower so he could get her to safety.
Upon reaching shore every agent surrounded her and was glad when she opened her eyes she was surrounded by a group of very pretty men, she tried to be lighthearted about her situation.
"Have I died and gone to heaven?"
It was Jennifer who chuckled Wayne glared at her.
"Do not encourage her."
"I cannot help what she said was amusing can I?"
Simons on service doctor was brought to help the young girl, because of all the lanterns that were lighting the area he had no problem seeing what damage there was. She had been incredibly lucky it was only a scrape it might leave a bit of a scar, but she would not suffer any problems and she would be able to get married the following week. He did make a mental note after hearing Thoth's version of the story she was lucky to be alive. It did not even need stitches and so she was able to be taken home where she was told to stay in bed and relax. Because they were staying at the country estate Johanna had the perfect place she would go and relax.
The next morning when her breakfast was brought to her she asked that her maid bring her a picnic basket with all her favorite things and then she could do what she wanted for the rest of the day because she did not want to be bothered. The maid was relieved she was thinking she was going to have to cater to her ladies every whim and she had a date with Connelly in the maze in the garden and this would give them even more time to be together.
Jo went to the storage to find the cariole so she would be able to bring everything she wanted with her. She packed the basket with food and clean bedding. She brought a dress with her that she could easily change into after she carried out her plan. She was quite sure that Jensen would know where to look and she would be ready for him. She dragged the cariole all the way to the Fancy and up the ramp and to the Captain's cabin. She spent her time waiting for Jensen to find her cleaning the cabin and exploring as she did.
It was during this cleaning she found the diary of the Captain Long Ben aka Henry Every who was better known as the Second Duke of Richmond youngest son. Henry was never meant to be the Duke he had been the spare and when he was young he took a commission in the Kings Navy. When his brother John died before their father Henry was now the heir to the Dukedom he had already left his service to the King and found a better way to make his fortune. But upon his father's illness he had left the life of a Pirate and came home to England to tend to the affairs of Bountiful.
Jo learned a lot about the pirate while waiting for Jensen. She knew he would be along early evening since they had dinner arrangements with his aunt and her brother. At eight she undressed and slipped into the bed and began reading once again learning more about the pirate or any man than she thought she ever would.
Jensen and Pauline arrived at Luther's home at seven thirty and Luther looked panic when he saw she was not with Jensen and Pauline. He had not seen Jo all day even though she had been told to stay in bed and rest. The maid came down a short time ago and told him she seemed to disappear from her room. Luther thought she was coming home with Jensen and Pauline, but he was dismayed to hear neither of them had seen her. Jensen called for Johanna's maid and when the woman appeared she seemed nervous.
"Where is your mistress?"
"I do not know where she has gone your grace. This morning when I brought her breakfast she said she wanted a large basket prepared and she did not want to be disturbed. The upstairs housekeeper has been upset all day because some of her best bed linens were missing. I figured my mistress used them to go out her window."
Luther and Jensen both seemed irritated with the maid. Luther asked the question the maid was avoiding.
"Did you not check on your mistresses needs at all today?"
"No, your grace she told me not to bother her."
Jensen was incensed did this girl not care for her mistress. Her mistress had been hurt how could she leave her on her own? The one thing Jensen knew was the girl would not be welcome as a servant in his house. Jensen stood there thinking about all the things Johanna took with her and then he smiled he knew exactly were the minx was.
"I will go and find her I have a feeling I might know where she went to be alone. Do not wait dinner for us. I trust you to deliver my aunt at home and I will do the same for your sister."
Luther agreed and Jensen had his carriage driver take him home so he could fetch a horse. The ride to the cave was not long and when he noticed the light seeping out of the closed door he knew he had been right she was waiting for him on the Fancy. He knew he had to take the horse inside the cave so no one would find them. It was their very own secret rendezvous place that no one else in the world knew about nor would he be telling anyone he enjoyed having a place they could go and be improper so to speak.
Jensen found her in the Captain's cabin laying in the bed and if he was correct she was in the nude. Not even his mistresses had been this bold.
"What pray tell are you doing? We were to meet for dinner."
"We are I have dinner right here, but you are a little over dressed for this dinner this is a very informal affair."
He laughed and started to undress quickly. When he was completely divested of his clothing he joined her on the bed. He was laying on his side using his hand to hold his head up.
"So, it is obvious to me you have something planned my lady?"
"Well I was planning on serving you dinner and then I read some things that made me wonder if it was really possible for a woman to make love to a man?"
He had an astonished look on his face. He did not know that was not a question but a declaration. It seemed Henry was very graphic in his diary on all the things he had done through the course of his times on the high seas.
"Yes, women can make love to men. Would you like to experiment with the possibility?"
"Oh, I am aware of the possibilities and I would love to experiment with all the things I learned about making love in Henry's diary.
So, if you are willing to let me experiment I would love to show you all I have learned."
She went to take two white silk scarfs out of the Captains drawer and wrapped them loosely around each of Jensen's hands he raised his brow what the bloody hell was Captain Ben into. He had considered himself experienced he was not a prude he was never one to back away from sex in any form but what was he getting himself into with this bride who was not afraid to try anything. He braced himself when Johanna straddled him. Just then his stomach grumbled. She reached over to the side table and brought the basket over to where they were laying. She took out some food and started to feed him.
He found this rather erotic a naked woman sitting upon his nakedness feeding him. She poured him a glass of wine and brought it to his lips. He drank and a bit ran down his chin and she quickly reacted and licked the wine up. Oh god was he going to die of agony or bliss he was not sure, but he was sure she was going to take him all the way to heaven with all her innocent play. Once they were finish dining she cleaned things up and straddled him.
She picked up the diary and started to read to herself he laughed to see if she was getting this right.
"Dearest you are doing wonderful everything you have done is pleasurable. You do not need directions on how to make love you are a natural."
"I am glad you think so, but I am trying to figure out how to do this next part. Perhaps you can explain it to me so we can enjoy this next step together."
"Read to me what is confusing you if I can, I will explain it."
"I believe they are talking euphemism, but I cannot be sure since he was a pirate and these terms do have to do with pirating. He claims he buried his wooden leg deep into her buried treasure."
He really did not want to explain this he wished he could take it back but he had told her their first time together she could ask him anything and he would tell her or they could try it. He did not know she would be so adventurous of a lover.
"Well darling you see he is talking about the male member how it stiffens up when men are aroused."
She started to laugh,
"I figured that one out, but woman do not have treasures on their bodies do they?"
He smiled at her naivety.
"It depends on what you consider a treasure anything can be a treasure if it brings you happiness, joy or pleasure. So, he is talking about that secret place that when I touch it I set you on fire."
Her eyes got big and a smile played across her lips. She got off him and went to retrieve something out of the wardrobe. It was two pirate hats. She placed one on his head and one on hers and straddled him once again and slid his wooden leg deep within her treasure. He was afraid to move he would let her ride him like he had never been ridden before. He was sure he could pleasure her more if she would untie his hands but it was her fantasy he would let her enjoy it not that he wasn't but he was sure there was more he could do to make it a much more enjoyable experience for the both of them.
He had been waiting for her to release hoping she would untie him so he could bring her to the edge of passion once again. He had learned with his other lovers that they liked to share in more than one release and were more satisfied if there were multiple.
"Darling may I have a turn at making love to you?"
She said nothing she untied his hands she was sure there was nothing he could do to top what they had already shared. She would have lost that bet he licked and nipped his way down to her treasure and then spread her legs and used his tongue to give her more pleasure than she had thought possible. Once he felt she was ready for him he slid into her slowly teasing and pleasing he was in no rush no one knew where they were they were free to take as long as they wanted. Slowly at first the rhythm they were sharing was like at the top of the orchestras performance and then it gets faster and faster than it feels like it explodes and then it settles and starts over again until they were ready to explode with the passion of the rhythm their bodies moved to. When they released together Johanna screamed and the sound reverberated throughout the cave and the ship.
